08/08/2024: Excellent time at Casanova, smoothie and nougat ice cream for my part, the two best of their kind that I have tasted in Corsica 👌 adorable and good-humoured waitress. The ice creams are all homemade with lots of delicious flavors, large selection of frozen drinks, perfect place to take comfort from the hot weather 😊

28/08/2024: Good option for snacks and breakfast if you are going to Bastia airport or staying at the Porreta hotel. The baguettes are huge and the croissants are big and very good.

11/09/2024: Very nice, nicely decorated beach restaurant. Good welcome and service. Beautiful menu with choice. The dishes are excellent as are the ice cream sundaes. Good value for money.
10/09/2024: Two of us rented 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds (very comfortable) for €40 for the whole day.
There is not much space between the umbrellas and it is forbidden to move the sunbeds (prohibition highlighted by a sign).
Unfortunately there was a bit of algae on the beach in front of the umbrellas, I don't know if it was because there had been a storm recently or they never clean it up.
The restaurant is on a terrace raised above the beach, which is why there are various steps (for us who had a wheelchair it wasn't very easy to move around), but the place is very nice

14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤.
The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”

27/06/2024: Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour les spécialités corses que nous avons mangées dans ce restaurant.
L'assiette de charcuterie et de fromages est de très bonne qualité, avec des produits issus des villages voisins.
Les cannellonis au Brocciu sont délicieux et entièrement faits maisons.
Service efficace et accueil convivial. Les desserts sont maisons et réussis.
Nous avons également dormi deux nuits à l'hôtel deux étoiles, chambre double très simple mais très propre et avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée!
Nous recommandons cet établissement pour un court séjour dans la belle région de la Castagniccia!

excellent welcome, dynamic with a smile, (and a little boy with certain talent!) excellent place, beautiful view, and oletta is a charming village!
In short, not to be missed!
08/09/2024: Beautiful location with beautiful views and sheltered outdoor terrace. Delicious lunch with anchovies for starters and grilled mussels and homemade ravioli for mains. Panna cotta and vanilla ice cream (surprisingly delicious soft ice cream). Enjoyed. Very hospitable service. The kitchen closed at 2 o'clock, but we were warmly welcomed at a quarter to two and we dined until 3 o'clock. Recommended!

25/09/2024: Very bad experience, unpleasant staff, finally a young man with long hair and a mustache who really seemed to be bothered... little choice, crab ravioli bathed in soup, really not appetizing. Cold and unpleasant bosses. To flee!

20/09/2024: great room. Very good bed. good breakfast. In the last 20 minutes before the end of breakfast, at least for us, no sausage or salmon is added. great clean private beach. Stylish ambience, but sometimes a bit outdated. Restaurant not visited. Probably very good. Everything is very clean and everything is explained very nicely. Family run hotel. Environment but not very attractive. Gravel parking lot after rain with lots of puddles.

We have been coming every year for 4 years for our wedding anniversary!
Everything is perfect!
The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, the rooms are magnificent, by the sea, sumptuous decor, and meals worthy of a gourmet restaurant!

18/09/2024: Absolute sight. The restaurant is worth a visit just because of its flair and appearance! The owners are very friendly and speak English and French. The food came quickly, looked stunning and tasted amazing. In addition, the portions were very large. The dishes are mostly made from local products. The lunches were priced between €16 and €28. The mousse au chocolate for €9 was also to die for and the espresso for €1.5 was also very good. The restaurant was recommended to us by the travel guide and we can pass on this recommendation.
12/09/2024: The Auberge located at an altitude of 1100 m is a true hidden gem in the heart of Balagne. Perched between two valleys, it offers a breathtaking view of Île Rousse on one side and the majestic Corsican mountains on the other.
As soon as we arrived, we were transported into a warm and welcoming Alpine chalet atmosphere. The cuisine is typically Corsican and entirely homemade, which makes each dish even tastier. The bread, wine and desserts are simply excellent.
It is an unmissable address for anyone visiting the region. I highly recommend stopping here to enjoy an authentic dining experience in an idyllic setting. A great discovery in Balagne!

08/09/2024: Cadre extérieur sympathique a contrario à la salle intérieure. Déçu cependant de la cuisine, nous avions pris des ravioles, lfe crabe bleu qui n’étaient pas exceptionnel, manque de goût et d’assaisonnement. Quant à moi j’avais pris les rognons, les rognons sont servi. non coupé sans sauce, je pensais me régaler mais non dommage je n’ai même pas osé prendre une photo
