12/01/2026: Very basic rest area but with all the amenities!! In my opinion, it's a great place to stop and rest after your trip or before leaving! The restaurant is fantastic, the Corsican owner and the staff are all fantastic, polite and very kind. I'll definitely be back, the price is fair.

10/12/2025: Fantastic place, plenty of space, very good location, especially after arriving and departing the ferry. Very good location for exploring Bastia. We highly recommend it. It was great.

18/11/2025: I'm revisiting an experience I had in August, during which I had the opportunity to eat several times at this restaurant, L'Écurie. Each visit left me with the same impression: that of a place where you immediately feel welcome, almost as if you were returning to a vacation home. Andrea's family is exceptionally warm, always ready to share an anecdote or a piece of their region's history, with a natural generosity that can't be faked. The cuisine reflects those who prepare it: local, authentic, and bursting with flavors that speak for themselves. And for those who enjoy discovery, a few touches of Asian inspiration sometimes elevate the dishes, with a surprising finesse that works wonderfully. Nothing is forced; everything is just right. You eat delicious, balanced dishes, prepared with talent and a lot of heart. The view adds even more to the magic of the place. A picturesque and authentic landscape, the kind of setting that perfectly complements a cuisine full of character. It's a place that deserves to be savored, to take the time to breathe, to savor, to chat with this family, proud of their region and their Corsica, and also proud to offer simple, honest, and deeply engaging cuisine. 02/09/2024: Nous voulions manger des moules frites, on décide de s'arrêter à se restaurant qui propose des moules marinières à 15€, à notre grand surprise, pour se prix les frites ne sont pas comprise dedans, il faut rajouter "une assiette de frites" à 4€50 quo ressemble plutôt à un petit bol !! Clairement très cher pour se qu'on a mangé et en plus le serveur m'a renvoyé boulet "bah non les frites ne sont pas comprise, on est pas en Bretagne madame" non mais j'hallucine... ne pas manger ici.

04/09/2024: It almost happened by mistake, but I've never been happier! Very good cuisine for my short experience in a foreign land!!! But when you leave a restaurant with satisfaction and a dish in your heart.... For me it's a lot of stuff as they say! Friendly and courteous staff, fair price, but I would like to point out my beloved dish (cassolette de Poisson, forgive me if I write wrong, I only put myself on the line to spread such a pleasure!) all good, but the beloved one was excellent!!! Yes, also a nice location in the citadel with excellent views from the terrace.

12/09/2024: En soirée avec des amis corse, nous avons été reçus et accompagnés tout le temps par Marie, si sympathique et dévouée, aimant son métier, félicitations. Bien sûr que c'est un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs , mais nous sommes dans un restaurant plus haut de gamme dans un hôtel 3 étoiles. Nous avons tous aimés le fritto misto, même si selon moi il manquait de petits poissons, l'assiette de poissons grillés, ou le filet de loup. Les desserts, profiteroles magnifiques, ains que le vin corse , la carte est assez variée. Très bonne soirée à tous points de vue.

30/08/2024: The restaurant is very nice. The food is good and the staff pleasant. Located halfway between St Florent and Bastia, ideal stopover before taking the plane home. The setting is very nice too. The whole thing remains quite expensive

16/09/2024: Frequento da decenni la Balagne dove ho casa e anni fa avevo avuto un'esperienza negativa al Beau Rivage per il servizio. Sono tornato per volontà dei miei amici, attirati dalla bella posizione in riva al mare. Due hanno ordinato lo spiedino di carne. Presentazione magnifica, ma la carne non era masticabile e non per questione di cottura. Abbiamo fatto rimarcare la cosa e abbiamo chiesto del titolare che si è mostrato aggressivo con atteggiamento intimidatorio, attirando l'attenzione della sala, perchè osavamo lamentarci e minacciando di buttarci fuori quando uno dj noi si è permesso di pronunciare la parola degoût. Lo abbiamo invitato ad assaggiare la carne, cosa che sicuramente ha fatto in cucina. Infatti ce ne siamo andati senza ordinare altro e al momento del conto non ci ha fatto pagare la carne, immangiabile, ma senza scusarsi nè dare spiegazioni. Non ci metterò mai più piede, perchè, come gli ho spiegato di persona, al ristorante non vi va solo per mangiare, ma soprattutto per stare bene e io avevo la percezione di avere a che fare con uno che stava per mettermi le mani addosso. Mai mai più. Il punteggio minimo è evitato per la posizione del locale e il piatto non fatto pagare.

14/09/2024: Grand resto avec terrasse surplombant la plage. Accueil et service pros (à part un garçon peu agréable). Planches (de charcuterie et fromage) copieuses et autres mets satisfaisants. Tarifs raisonnables.
