27/06/2024: Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour les spécialités corses que nous avons mangées dans ce restaurant. L'assiette de charcuterie et de fromages est de très bonne qualité, avec des produits issus des villages voisins. Les cannellonis au Brocciu sont délicieux et entièrement faits maisons. Service efficace et accueil convivial. Les desserts sont maisons et réussis. Nous avons également dormi deux nuits à l'hôtel deux étoiles, chambre double très simple mais très propre et avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée! Nous recommandons cet établissement pour un court séjour dans la belle région de la Castagniccia!

03/09/2024: as you know, I have written many reviews... and I will write many, unfortunately the desire comes to me only when I have to warn people like me who sometimes find themselves eating in places they don't want to... but which is sometimes done for reasons of state. All this does not make restaurateurs immune from my opinion, who, as I always say, have a task and a duty towards diners, and that is respect for who you are in their restaurant! well that didn't happen today! in a restaurant located in a magnificent place... Algajola, a part of the world that has benefited from nature and an indigenous beauty that only Corsica can grant you. However.. the point is, that certain restaurateurs, before having the benefit of working in such a beautiful place, should prove their culinary and cultural skills! but above all knowing how to demonstrate a little respect for the territory, and for the diners, who ultimately give it a living, but given the poor quality of the food and perhaps the skills of the chef himself". Well... Gentlemen, I'll just say that my culinary experience in this place "Le Padula" was among the worst I've ever had in my life". As I have said several times, my job, for many years, has been to create food to bring joy to those who want to do it... always respecting those who sit at the table and who have believed in you. This evening... tired of seeing so much incompetence... I just paid for everything, simply telling the cashier that the food they served me was Horrible! I forgot about the service...white wine is always served cold and salad creams must not be frozen. Best wishes for the future... because you need it

26/08/2024: Bel endroit avec une belle plage et une vue à l’horizon illimitée. Un plombé immédiat sur une courte distance et une eau claire. Parking gratuit tout le long de la plage . Côté cuisine belle expérience gustative et, un service très correct et agréable. Je recommande. Paiement no cb !

18/09/2024: Absolute sight. The restaurant is worth a visit just because of its flair and appearance! The owners are very friendly and speak English and French. The food came quickly, looked stunning and tasted amazing. In addition, the portions were very large. The dishes are mostly made from local products. The lunches were priced between €16 and €28. The mousse au chocolate for €9 was also to die for and the espresso for €1.5 was also very good. The restaurant was recommended to us by the travel guide and we can pass on this recommendation.

12/09/2024: The Auberge located at an altitude of 1100 m is a true hidden gem in the heart of Balagne. Perched between two valleys, it offers a breathtaking view of Île Rousse on one side and the majestic Corsican mountains on the other. As soon as we arrived, we were transported into a warm and welcoming Alpine chalet atmosphere. The cuisine is typically Corsican and entirely homemade, which makes each dish even tastier. The bread, wine and desserts are simply excellent. It is an unmissable address for anyone visiting the region. I highly recommend stopping here to enjoy an authentic dining experience in an idyllic setting. A great discovery in Balagne!

08/09/2024: Beautiful location with beautiful views and sheltered outdoor terrace. Delicious lunch with anchovies for starters and grilled mussels and homemade ravioli for mains. Panna cotta and vanilla ice cream (surprisingly delicious soft ice cream). Enjoyed. Very hospitable service. The kitchen closed at 2 o'clock, but we were warmly welcomed at a quarter to two and we dined until 3 o'clock. Recommended!

08/09/2024: Excellent cuisine: it’s fresh, it’s local, it’s seasonal. excellent welcome, dynamic with a smile, (and a little boy with certain talent!) excellent place, beautiful view, and oletta is a charming village! In short, not to be missed!

15/09/2024: Exceptionally good Corsican dishes. And on our visit with a single condition for the well-stocked outdoor area, they were very prompt and very friendly and helpful despite the stress. Highly recommended.

01/07/2024: Nous y étions lors d’une soirée brésilienne et l’ambiance était magnifique, les tapas fait par là pizzeria juste à côté sont excellents. La carte des rhums est riche dommage que les prix soit un poil pas donné. La petite serveuse était adorable , je recommande cet endroit fort sympathique.

16/08/2024: We passed 2 days ago on August 14, 2024 for dinner without reservation. When we arrived around 8:30 p.m. we asked if it was possible to have dinner, a table for 2 people. The manager replied nonchalantly: “not possible our 3 services are full”. Something I can hear but not when half the tables are empty and the other half aren't even set.... So I am very very disappointed with this service to the customer's face. I do not recommend because the reception is disastrous.

20/09/2024: Very nice location, the setting just above the sea is magnificent with the sound of the waves. Very good and quality dishes (I recommend the pasta dishes). Warm welcome by the boss. I recommend this restaurant in this beautiful little fishing village. We will go back 😀
