12/09/2024: Most likely we ate the best burger in Corsica here. The operation and service were great! As already mentioned, the food is fantastic and the restaurant is cozy with a clear view of the kitchen. Price performance cannot be beaten!

08/09/2024: Hotel very well placed for visiting Bastia. Pleasant staff, and the rooftop swimming pool is a big plus. Free parking just behind the hotel.

08/08/2024: AMAZING We arrived by ferry from Livorno and literally walked to the hotel, how convenient! It was a 2 minute walk. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Since we were early to check in, we could go to the pool on the top floor outside. It was really nice. And we had a lovely view. Then we went to our room which was also amazing. It had a TV, a balcony, nice beds and air conditioning (very important!) The breakfast was delicious, it was a buffet. We had a great time!

18/09/2024: Hello: I arrived in Corte today and we went into this boulangerie with my daughter looking for something for her diet. The lady behind the counter didn't even say "good afternoon" to us... we were looking at some chocolates in a package and wanted to understand the ingredients and we heard a "don't touch" word, we turned and another lady came in and asked for a portion of cake and it was served before us. The shop assistant saw our dog and said oh the dog... certainly there was no sign warning against entering with the dog. The fact is that we decided to leave given the rude and rude treatment he reserved for us. If the lemma of the shop is a name and a tradition, you speak very badly of the name and tradition of your place. It is clear that she is not used to dealing with tourism

09/09/2024: We come every day to buy different pastries to complete our picnics, they are all truly exceptional!!! Note that they do not take CB (a fairly common practice in Corte!).

08/09/2024: Stay 1 week / Room with sea view and terrace We would like to warmly thank Amandine for her welcome, her availability, her advice (car rental, restaurant, etc.) and her help with our taxi reservation). We don't forget Marie who takes care of the breakfast perfectly. Very nice and very clean room with stunning sea views Don't miss eating beautiful grilled meats at the hotel restaurant to the sounds of beautiful Corsican songs. We recommend this hotel!

04/09/2024: Hotel ideally located in Saint Florent with swimming pool and magnificent view of the gulf. On the other hand, the hotel deserves a good facelift because it is very dated. The rooms are small and poorly soundproofed; we can hear what is happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms. The bathroom smelled like sewage coming up. The air conditioning is very noisy. For more than €100 per night and 3 stars... we are disappointed.

16/09/2024: Frequento da decenni la Balagne dove ho casa e anni fa avevo avuto un'esperienza negativa al Beau Rivage per il servizio. Sono tornato per volontà dei miei amici, attirati dalla bella posizione in riva al mare. Due hanno ordinato lo spiedino di carne. Presentazione magnifica, ma la carne non era masticabile e non per questione di cottura. Abbiamo fatto rimarcare la cosa e abbiamo chiesto del titolare che si è mostrato aggressivo con atteggiamento intimidatorio, attirando l'attenzione della sala, perchè osavamo lamentarci e minacciando di buttarci fuori quando uno dj noi si è permesso di pronunciare la parola degoût. Lo abbiamo invitato ad assaggiare la carne, cosa che sicuramente ha fatto in cucina. Infatti ce ne siamo andati senza ordinare altro e al momento del conto non ci ha fatto pagare la carne, immangiabile, ma senza scusarsi nè dare spiegazioni. Non ci metterò mai più piede, perchè, come gli ho spiegato di persona, al ristorante non vi va solo per mangiare, ma soprattutto per stare bene e io avevo la percezione di avere a che fare con uno che stava per mettermi le mani addosso. Mai mai più. Il punteggio minimo è evitato per la posizione del locale e il piatto non fatto pagare.

14/09/2024: Grand resto avec terrasse surplombant la plage. Accueil et service pros (à part un garçon peu agréable). Planches (de charcuterie et fromage) copieuses et autres mets satisfaisants. Tarifs raisonnables.

26/09/2024: Dishonest ! Night reserved at 8 p.m. the day before the reservation by telephone and obligation to pay in advance even though it is the end of September out of season. Then Corsica ferries canceled our crossing the next day at 11am. I call the hotel to cancel directly and the manager doesn't even bother to call me back and sends me the cancellation invoice indicating that a refund is impossible. She added two lines suggesting that I send the bill to my Visa insurance whereas credit card insurance requires proof of illness, death of a loved one, etc. This was not the first time in this establishment and it will surely be the last. In peak season I would have understood but it is the end of September.... The worst thing is that the room was put back for reservation on their site and resold!!! We had planned to dine at the restaurant with a reserved table and we often come to Corsica but they won't see us anymore. Commercial = 0 and dishonest to line their pockets.

29/09/2024: A scam? The two of us went to dinner this evening. We had the “Hot Goat Cheese Salad” as a starter, the “Classic Burger” and a “Capriciosa Pizza” as a main course. Everything was delicious and appealing. To drink, we had a Coke and two quarts of red wine in a carafe. Everything is fine. And then the bill arrived! I had to pay 15 euros for a quart of red wine in a carafe - so 30 euros for the two carafes (1/2 liter in total)! Sorry, but that's not possible! I complained and after a discussion with the waitress she finally excused me a quarter and I had to pay "only" 15 euros for the wine. Now that I think about it, 15 euros for 0.5 liters of wine in a carafe is still too expensive! A scam???

29/09/2024: If you're looking for pizza, don't hesitate! Pizza in a real wood-fired oven. Fair prices. We went back to order a second one a few days later because it was really excellent!! 🍕
