08/09/2024: Stay 1 week / Room with sea view and terrace We would like to warmly thank Amandine for her welcome, her availability, her advice (car rental, restaurant, etc.) and her help with our taxi reservation). We don't forget Marie who takes care of the breakfast perfectly. Very nice and very clean room with stunning sea views Don't miss eating beautiful grilled meats at the hotel restaurant to the sounds of beautiful Corsican songs. We recommend this hotel!

04/09/2024: Hotel ideally located in Saint Florent with swimming pool and magnificent view of the gulf. On the other hand, the hotel deserves a good facelift because it is very dated. The rooms are small and poorly soundproofed; we can hear what is happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms. The bathroom smelled like sewage coming up. The air conditioning is very noisy. For more than €100 per night and 3 stars... we are disappointed.

05/08/2024: Pizza tasted with family, it was good. Choice on the menu. Good reception by telephone and when we came to collect the order. Also very practical to have the machine 24/7, and reassuring to know what type of product is available in the machine.

16/05/2024: C’est un superbe établissement, c’est super beau et très très bon! Des plats du jours travaillés ! Le patron nous à offert à moi et mon ami un dessert en dédommagement du petit retard qu’ils on eu. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, je recommande !

11/08/2024: Clean beach, not crowded, with very useful showers and a place to eat and drink. Be careful though, because they don't accept debit cards to pay.

29/09/2024: Wonderful evening spent in this restaurant. The welcome is warm and the food excellent, all with a magnificent view of the port.

29/09/2024: If you're looking for pizza, don't hesitate! Pizza in a real wood-fired oven. Fair prices. We went back to order a second one a few days later because it was really excellent!! 🍕

29/09/2024: A scam? The two of us went to dinner this evening. We had the “Hot Goat Cheese Salad” as a starter, the “Classic Burger” and a “Capriciosa Pizza” as a main course. Everything was delicious and appealing. To drink, we had a Coke and two quarts of red wine in a carafe. Everything is fine. And then the bill arrived! I had to pay 15 euros for a quart of red wine in a carafe - so 30 euros for the two carafes (1/2 liter in total)! Sorry, but that's not possible! I complained and after a discussion with the waitress she finally excused me a quarter and I had to pay "only" 15 euros for the wine. Now that I think about it, 15 euros for 0.5 liters of wine in a carafe is still too expensive! A scam???

26/09/2024: Good restaurant with a superb view of the port of Calvi. We tried the mussels and fries there 🍟 a great choice because the mussels were excellent 🙌 we had a great time! And for once we indulged ourselves and had a dessert 🍮 for me a tiramisu for 9€50 😱😱 and my friend a crème brûlée for 8€50 😳 despite the price a good choice for both! I can only recommend this restaurant!

14/09/2024: On the GR20 route. The hosts are adorable and welcoming, the meal delicious, the rooms and bathrooms clean and the showers hot.

11/08/2024: Recent showers and toilets. It's clean, bright and warm (following the shower cubicle for hot water). Warm welcome, small grocery store available. We slept in bivouac with our tent. Wake up to a cow right next to our tent.

18/09/2024: The menu is promising and so is the decor. We had the fruit bowl for 10 euros and we were all disappointed. It wasn't worth the price. There wasn't much in it, and the taste wasn't there. The lady at the counter was friendly but overwhelmed with the amount of customers.

25/08/2024: Excellent burger and excellent pizza (requested replacement of emmental with mozzarella) with 1 beer, total €31. A magnificent terrace overlooking the sea in a well-kept and authentic village in the area, not trendy. Excellent quality price. Friendly owner, attentive service. Returned another evening, good entrecote and crispy fried potatoes just the way I like them! The pizza is the thin and crunchy type.

07/08/2024: Sublime view and delicious dishes. The welcome is warm and the staff are generous with advice. A pleasure to go there. Attention: don't forget to book.

17/09/2024: Two stars for service. Adorable waitress. For lunch it’s a different story. The stuffed mussels, more au gratin than stuffed, should have been offered and priced as a starter but not as a main course at 14 euros. The freshness is difficult to assess because they are super dry under the breadcrumbs and especially with six and a half mussels at the bottom of the plate, we left to finish lunch elsewhere. Of course we arrived late and the menu was half unavailable so my daughter had tuna rillettes, quite good and which was also similar to a starter but at the price of a starter, i.e. 8 euros. In short, bad experience.

23/08/2024: Nice atmosphere for a drink in the early evening on the market square with music in the background. Very good instant iced tea!

06/09/2024: We looked at how this restaurant was rated before going there and we were very wise not to trust it: it is clearly not rated well enough. We arrived for lunch, there was one place left on the side, on the shopping street; we were seated there after being very well received. Then 5 minutes later, we were told that we had been found a table on the main terrace without having asked for anything. So we had a great place, and everything we ate was delicious! Incredible sardines with Brocciu! And super friendly service! In the evening, it's even prettier with the lights on the small square.

05/09/2024: restaurant without more, we had the appetizer at the same time as the main course, and after that no one was still waiting for dessert. too touristy, poorly followed service. for me avoided

14/09/2024: Contrairement àu commentaire précédent nous avons très bien manger Les assiettes sont copieuses, le goût est au rendez-vous épicé comme il faut le fumés et poisson frais , je le recommande , accueil chaleureux , un bon restaurant, à ne pas rater 🙏

04/09/2024: Waiter doesn't speak to us, pushes a plate in our direction from which we have to choose our food. Then serves us sour rosé from a small glass milk bottle. Wine was really undrinkable, nor did we get a chance to taste it. 3 minutes later he comes to take our order. Girlfriend takes pasta with meatballs, I take pasta with fresh vegetables. She gets a watery mess with flat-boiled pasta, on which are 4 meatballs that are completely raw and cold on the inside, with some pieces of tomato in between. I get the same pasta with a lot of soggy vegetables in between, which were anything but fresh, some vegetables were even sour. The vegetables looked as if they had been scraped from a bunch of jars and thrown onto a plate, juice and all. Even the bread in the basket was hard. How this place gets 4.5 stars is beyond me. Or we just had a lot of bad luck. I'm normally someone who eats everything, but I've never experienced this before.

01/09/2024: L'authenticité de la Corse nous a accompagné tout le long de cette belle soirée,nos hôtes, le cadre magique, la quiétude de la Corse et le régal des papilles avec un excellent menu dégageant toutes les saveurs de cette île, tout était délicieux et pour les gourmands une mention spéciale pour le flan au lait de brebis dans sa crème caramel.

19/08/2024: Pleasant and calm moment in one of the pretty streets. A moment away from the tourist influx of the port. The cocktails are very good and the snacks very enjoyable.

01/07/2024: Nous y étions lors d’une soirée brésilienne et l’ambiance était magnifique, les tapas fait par là pizzeria juste à côté sont excellents. La carte des rhums est riche dommage que les prix soit un poil pas donné. La petite serveuse était adorable , je recommande cet endroit fort sympathique.
