03/08/2025: Small terrace overlooking the port with a pleasant view. Very good charcuterie, as well as the bruschetta and tartine we ate. Great waitress, managing everything. Bottled water a little expensive, but identical to the large restaurant by the port: €6 per liter of orezza.

20/09/2024: Attention, le restaurant ne fait pas partie de la résidence, bien que sur le même site et d'un cadre très agréable, il s'agit de 2 entités bien distinctes. Nous somme le 17 septembre 2024. le bar ne sert plus que des bières, exit les cocktails. Ouverture vers 18h. Carte tronquée, tous les plats ne sont plus servis. (ex pâtes aux palourdes!! ils ne sont pas responsables de la marrée me disent 'ils puis me raccroche au nez). c'est peut être trés bon en saison quand la carte est complète mais comptez au minimum 20€ pour un entrée, 30 pour un plat et je suis sur que le dessert et plus salé que sucré. Le vin mini 30€, je n'ai pas osé demandé le prix d'un sourire ou d'un ton cordial. J'avais réservé pour un anniversaire de mariage, fort heureusement nous avons eu l'info de la carte restreinte avant et nous avons pu nous retourner. Ceci dit je n'ai donc pas pu gouter les plats. Nous n'avons pas pour habitude de donner de mauvaises notes, tout le monde peut avoir des hauts et des bas, et tous les clients n'ont pas les même exigences, pourtant je pense que nous aimons le service de qualité et la propreté. Mon avis ne concerne donc que l'honnêteté et la courtoisie du personnel qui aurait pu nous prévenir le soir ou nous avons pris l'apéro(restreint!) et que nous avons réservé les repas. De vrai gardiens de prison. A fuir humainement.

14/09/2024: Nous avions découvert le lieu en se baladant sur la plage et nous avons décidé d y retourner pour passer la journée les pieds dans l'eau. Le déjeuner était excellent , mention spéciale au plat de veau . Merci pour la délicate attention de nous avoir réservé une table au plus près de la mer et pour les transats offerts puisque nous déjeunions . Le personnel est tres effficace et attentionné . à recommander chaudement

14/09/2024: Un menu appétissant pour fêter notre anniversaire de mariage. Accueil chaleureux, cadre exceptionnel. Menu comprenant les produits du terroir. Au top du début à la fin. 13/11/2024: Bel établissement de qualité recommandé par notre hotesse, accueil et service sympathique et efficace. soirée prévue avec ambiance corse (la pluie ? a découragé les musiciens, dommage) le repas était bon. nous avions pris une très bonne pizza à emporter 2 jours plutôt

23/01/2026: We spent a week in June at the Hotel Ostella in Corsica – and we can say without a doubt: this is not a hotel where you should spend a whole week!!! Our room (404) overlooked a parking lot. The location is very poor on foot; you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, where cars drive extremely fast. Buses only run until around 8 p.m., and taxis are very expensive. Without a car, you're practically stranded. The bathroom smelled terrible, so we had to change rooms. There was also an unpleasant odor in the restaurant, which is absolutely unacceptable. For a hotel in this price range, it's a disaster. On the positive side: the bed and bathroom are large, there's plenty of storage space, and most of the staff are friendly. On the negative side: no proper duvet, no kettle, and the mirror is too small. The free parking lot is constantly overcrowded, and there's no way to control who parks there – completely incomprehensible. The Sole Mare Beach Club isn't just a few minutes away as described, but a 26-minute walk, also across a busy road. Sun loungers cost €15 per person and are not part of the hotel, even though it's advertised as such. Breakfast is okay, but it's ruined by a very unfriendly employee who clears everything away long before it's finished. There was also confusion at reception regarding a supposed breakfast bill of €62, which no one could explain. In short: Corsica is beautiful, but this hotel was a disaster for us; it wasn't a holiday at all. We wouldn't stay here again.

20/09/2024: Almost a presentation that bad. Caesar salad came with a raw egg, fried cardboard that I think was supposed to represent chicken, and vegetables that were borderline rotten. No expense was spared when cleaning the lettuce and tomatoes. My girlfriend ordered a veggie burger, which looked more like a battlefield of compressed vegetables, unrecognizable cheese and brown avocado between 2 buns. The waitress girl clearly didn't feel like it, or had drunk too much the night before. Slow, grumpy, and forgot to give us glasses with the bottle of water after it was thrown on the table with full aggression.

24/09/2024: Excellence has a name: the Auberge du Maquis. The staff, owners and chef are very nice people, the dishes (menu or à la carte) are succulent, especially the sole and the sea bream. The place is charming. To discover and re-discover!

20/09/2024: great room. Very good bed. good breakfast. In the last 20 minutes before the end of breakfast, at least for us, no sausage or salmon is added. great clean private beach. Stylish ambience, but sometimes a bit outdated. Restaurant not visited. Probably very good. Everything is very clean and everything is explained very nicely. Family run hotel. Environment but not very attractive. Gravel parking lot after rain with lots of puddles.

15/09/2024: Exceptional! We have been coming every year for 4 years for our wedding anniversary! Everything is perfect! The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, the rooms are magnificent, by the sea, sumptuous decor, and meals worthy of a gourmet restaurant! Congratulations to the whole team and... 03/09/2024: Sushi restaurant on the old port of Bastia. Pretty good sushi, particularly the hot sushi (Chandi), but it can be a little too expensive for the quantity.

Very nice welcome from smiling Blory and Léandro, very professional and so pleasant, without forgetting Princy who advised me so well...competent and very warm! This restaurant is a delicacy because the flavors and tastes are perfect...a great discovery I highly recommend

19/09/2025: Although the restaurant is on the roadside, the setting with its small view of the harbor and the mountains is very nice. The meal, nothing to complain about, was very good. The only downside is that there's only one person taking orders and three more people serving. They're always running around, which is a shame.

06/09/2024: Caratteristico locale che propone cucina tipica corsa. Personale estremamente gentile, varietà di piatti ma tutti piuttosto tipici. Noi abbiamo scelto un piatto di antipasti di salumi corsi, un filetto e costata di maiale con vino della casa. La carne era cotta benissimo ed era molto gustosa, il vino della casa era prodotto nel paese accanto e mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto modo di provare i dolci perchè le porzioni sono molto abbondanti e non c'era più spazio, peccato! Per quanto riguarda il conto nella media dei prezzi della Corsica, certamente non economico, ma almeno una volta è un'esperienza che vale la pena fare!

26/08/2024: Pleasant & Relaxing ++++ Welcoming, attentive and solution-oriented staff The hotel restaurant is excellent and the view of the sea is splendid (from morning at breakfast until evening at the restaurant) Parking included with the hotel Not insignificant proximity to the station to go to Calvi Cleanliness, nothing to complain about - - - - - Hotel 15 minutes walk from the city center (if you want to take the car, paid parking in town) The bedding consisted only of a fine sheet, we would have preferred a duvet

19/07/2024: Wonderful stay with sea view bedroom A caring staff from the butler to the lady of the room.... Gourmet meals in an idyllic setting, delicious cocktails and magnificent presentation. A very accessible and very relaxing spa (if we could open a window it would be even better) We were lucky enough to see dolphins from our room and the next day 2 sperm whales.🤗... Short walks 10 minutes away with a sunset or coves for swimming. My small negative point is the proximity of the port with Corsica which is not far away but the tourists must arrive..... But you will have understood, given so many positive points, that I highly recommend this beautiful establishment.
