17/12/2025: An excellent hotel with a remarkable welcome, the kind you find less and less these days. The overnight package is a great deal, with a very good restaurant. The wines are of excellent quality. A truly outstanding experience from this establishment.

17/12/2025: We spent the night at the hotel. A wonderful welcome from a lovely owner with a great sense of humor and professionalism. The hotel is very nice, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. Highly recommended. Thanks again to the owner.

24/12/2025: Mixed experience. We came on a Sunday as a family for lunch while visiting the Christmas market. We ordered the daily special, which was croziflette. Unfortunately, the portions were too small. The adults received the same amount as the children. We left hungry. The children, however, thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

09/04/2026: I'm currently at this bar and the overall experience is mixed. On the positive side: the waiter is really very friendly, attentive, and professional. No complaints there; it's nice to be welcomed like that. However, a major drawback concerns another member of staff. I had put my dog ​​on a chair, even though there were plenty of chairs available nearby. A woman came over and coldly told me she would need the chair later. I agreed without hesitation. But 10 minutes later, she came back, still completely impolite (no "please," no "thank you"), and asked me to take the chair immediately, even though there were still plenty of empty chairs. Her tone was curt, unpleasant, and frankly unnecessary. I didn't appreciate this attitude at all. Customers are not responsible for the staff's dissatisfaction and shouldn't have to suffer the consequences. It's a shame, because the server really raises the bar, but because of this experience, I don't think I'll be back.

19/03/2026: My partner and I ate there this month, and we had a wonderful meal! A typical Savoyard dish, excellent value for money! The decor was typical of the region. I highly recommend it.

30/01/2026: Simply the best tacos ever! Warm welcome, nice and clean place to eat in, and above all, generous portions of tacos with plenty of sauce. A bottle of cold water was brought to our table and the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I get the chance.

12/03/2026: To celebrate some good news with my colleagues, we went back to the Saint-Charles. The waitress recognized me and criticized the review I'd left after my last visit: "5 euros for 10 cl of rosé is highway robbery and outrageous... I asked the owner for an explanation, who told me that was the normal serving 🤔 This brasserie should be boycotted, plus they spoke to me like I was an idiot 😔" She was verbally condescending, unpleasant, and sarcastic... When you're a business owner or employee, you have to know how to accept criticism and be respectful to the customer: that's the foundation of being a professional, something this young lady clearly doesn't understand. If she reads this post, know, Mademoiselle, that your opinion is worthless to me, and don't forget that without customers, there's no business. You have to accept criticism when it's justified. A true professional would have reacted the opposite way.
