18/07/2024: A warm welcome, more than adequate rooms as well as a friendly restaurant.

13/07/2024: Comme nous devions aller visiter le fort des Rousses, nous nous sommes arrêté au premier restaurant en entrant aux Rousses. Très bon accueil, serveur ultra sympathique et aux petits soins. Si la carte est classique, c'est très bien cuisiné. Copieuses salades de chèvres, très bon saumon en papillote. Moi qui ne prends normalement plus de steak de bœuf au restaurant, car de plus en plus souvent mal découpé, j'ai eu la bonne surprise d'avoir un filet de bœuf très tendre (j'ai réussi à couper la viande le couteau à l'envers). Et j'ai eu droit à un dessert "sur mesure". Donc rien à redire. Merci

12/09/2024: The biggest assets are: the sofas which are super comfortable The rest: Not an incredible meal, as a starter half a sliced ​​avocado with three mini rolls of smoked trout and industrial mayo for €16, the main course: a veal chuck really smaller than the purée that accompanied it and the together was too salty. A friend had the all-you-can-eat dish of the day with dessert, which arrived at the end of the meal, plus dessert at 10 p.m. We offered him a brownie instead, only to tell him 5 minutes later that in fact there were no more brownies. A bit nonsense in my opinion, I won't go back and don't recommend.

01/09/2024: Never again, it's the first time I've been back there in 2 years and in 2 years it hasn't changed perfect for having food poisoning 2 years ago we found mold in the kebabs that evening I I had a taco and my brother had a kebab. My taco must have been cordon bleu. It had nothing to offer. My brother had asked for no tomato and there was more. I learned that he had hygiene checks every month. do not recommend

16/09/2024: We came there in 2019, in the middle of the yellow vest crisis. We had an excellent time: very clean room, large enough and adorable manager who took care of us. We would use exactly the same hotel!

19/09/2024: Ideal for a stopover on the way home or to the south of France. Room: very well equipped. Location: great - between the canal and Loue, food: formidable 👍 The breakfast could be prepared more lovingly. Overall 5 stars from me.

10/11/2024: Plusieurs déjeûners au Rouget de Lisle et à chaque fois, excellents plats et service chaleureux. Menus très variés et plats de qualité. Le rapport qualité (quantité) / prix est tout à fait raisonnable. Nous aimons y aller régulièrement car les plats sont savoureux avec des produits locaux et de saison , et le prix plus que correct.

25/08/2024: Très bon restaurant, bon rapport qualité prix. C'est vraiment cuisiné, avec des produits frais, tout était très bon et sortait du quotidien. Vraiment un réel plaisir et un excellent moment dans ce restaurant. Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes et tous sommes sortis ravis des différents plats et de la gentillesse du serveur et de la serveuse. Nous y reviendrons.

14/09/2024: We went there following a recommendation and we had an amazing evening. The menu is perfectly executed and the wine selection is on point! As a starter we had "la croûte aux morilles" which I will remember forever. It was delicious, I can't even describe it, you should just experience it yourself. We also had the trout gravelax which was perfect and well balanced too. As a main we got one "fondue d'la forêt" (you'll need to order a fondue for at least 2 persons) and it was really good a copious. The fish with risotto was also cooked perfectly and had so many flavours. As a dessert we had a crêpe and a chocolate pie. After a copious meal we were a little bit afraid that a chocolate pie would be too heavy but it wasn't at all! It was delicious! When it comes to the wine, you'll be able to find one to your taste given their large selection (most of them are natural wine). They know all of them and will be able to help you find your own favorite :) If you're in the region and want to experience some local cuisine and famous dishes, go there you won't regret it.

14/09/2024: An excellent time spent in Antwerp. A short menu, seasonal products, a choice of wine and perfectly executed cuisine! The kind of table where we like to come and especially come back.

17/09/2024: Family meal on a Sunday lunchtime. Good French cuisine, nothing to complain about. Good advice for wines. The servers are pleasant, smiling and competent. On the other hand, the boss...or service manager has a particular sense of humor...especially during the welcome. Sitting at the end of the bar with his mess of tables, you have to move towards him to give your name....I thought he was waiting for the dirty dishes to do them....he tried to joke during the service but too bad his humor was not appreciated

27/08/2024: We stopped by by chance as we are gourmet pastries. We did not regret the experience! This is gourmet pastry, the flavors combined are extremely well chosen, and above all a texture of incredible softness (we don't feel overwhelmed by butter and sugar which can sometimes happen in this area!) The person who served us was very kind and did not hesitate to tell us the history of the house and the desire to remain established in Arbois without seeking to expand at all costs. We felt a keen interest in craftsmanship and know-how (being a craftsman myself, I can only agree with their point of view!) So certainly the experience costs more than elsewhere, but the value for money is totally justified. If you have a sweet tooth and are sensitive to craftsmanship, don't hesitate to try one of their sweet treats!
