We wait 15 minutes for a dessert that will never come with a waitress who makes empty trips. in short, it's better...

13/08/2024: Easily the best restaurant in Marmonde - run by a husband and wife team in the classic style but very modern presentation. Small menu - two starters and two mains at €50 for three excellent courses: marinated mackerel or fois gras terrine followed by suckling pork or duck all perfectly sauced. Desserts include a lemon ‘explosion’ and a chocolate mousse with a raspberry every couli.

17/08/2024: A panini is prepared with a panini machine, it should come out slightly flattened, it cannot be put as is, in an oven for 1 minute. So €7.50 for a 33cl can of coke and a panini bread with a few cheese crumbs in it...that's a bit stingy.

06/10/2024: Déjeuner avec des amis, accueil chaleureux. Repas excellent, plat cuisiné, sauce légère, assiette généreuse. Nous sommes revenus pour dîner, même bonheur . Glace à la menthe maison remarquable et judicieux conseil pour un vin de Gascogne. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans ce restaurant grande cuisine sans prétention. Merci Madame.

16/08/2024: If you are going to arrive after 6:00 p.m., you must call to inform them. I was almost forced to tell them whether or not I was going to have dinner at their restaurant, I DIDN'T ASK FOR DINNER! They were not at all friendly on the phone, then I called again and told them no, and I felt scolded. The rooms are very clean, and if you go in summer THERE IS NO air conditioning, just a small fan that made a lot of noise. It is a tent hotel, with a very strong old, musty smell. The location is excellent.

31/08/2024: I came this Saturday afternoon to the Jaurès brasserie, without really knowing where I was going. When I arrived I saw a beautiful terrace overlooking the city market, I was already won over, then everything accelerated, excellent value for money, smiling, kind and attentive service, frankly an incredible experience, I would like to tell you everything that is in my heart but my words fail me just one piece of advice come on, thank you to the whole team. Special mention for the toilets

27/09/2024: Very good restaurant, welcoming and warm, we arrived at the end of the service, the starter buffet was generous, we had the chance to taste a local beef rib… excellent blue cooking mastered by a real chef who loves doing things well and this is reflected on the plate, a perfect choice of dessert and artisanal ice cream! We will come back to eat for sure! Congratulations to the chef and his team and thank you for this good time.
