09/09/2024: We have just spent an excellent holiday at the L'eau Vive campsite, the owners Linda & Eric are very welcoming and friendly, not forgetting Delphine and the children.... always available. We enjoyed the entertainment every evening. The region is superb which doesn't spoil anything. We recommend it to everyone and we send them big kisses.

05/09/2024: Good location at the gates of Cahors. Reception ok but room without soul in need of current renovation. Breakfast mediocre and on plastic trays lying on the tables. Sad stay

04/09/2024: Good morning, We used the catering service of the La Chartreuse restaurant for our wedding and it was a total success! The reception and the meal were very appreciated by the guests! The team this day was really great! The service and their cuisine are fabulous. I highly recommend this caterer who works with good humor and kindness! 31/08/2024: Super restaurant, nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir manger sur la terrasse à l’ombre du magnifique arbre. Bon rapport qualité /prix, très bonne cuisine, les plats sont copieux et les serveurs et patrons super sympas. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

20/09/2024: Had a wonderful stay with my partner and 1-year-old daughter. We rented a safari tent and this was well organised. The safari tent is spacious, neat and offers all amenities for a carefree stay. The campsite is nice and no nonsense, has lots of play equipment for children and the shower building is just ok. The terrace upstairs invites you to enjoy a nice beer or wine. There is sufficient range. We took advantage of the half-board package, which is highly recommended. Maurice and Astrid provided delicious meals and the breakfast was more than fine. Real holiday! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend the campsite!! If only because of the hospitality of Astrid and Maurice, which really makes you feel at home. We will definitely come back next year!

15/08/2024: Maurice, Astrid and their team have created a really safe and child-friendly campsite. Because the campsite is small but narrow, you will not easily have all the children in one place (except at the playground), which creates a quiet atmosphere for the parents. Nearest supermarket is just a 15-minute drive away. Bread can be ordered until 9:00 PM at the campsite. 6 days a week, Maurice prepares a delicious meal that you can sign up for. From BBQ to home-smoked salmon. All delicious. Outings are generally a short drive but doable and there is little traffic on the road. The sanitary facilities have been around for a while but are perfectly functional and are kept as clean as possible. We understand that renewal and expansion are planned for next year. There is a flowing stream with fish and crayfish running past the campsite. The children can be found here every day and boat races are held here. The spots are larger than the average garden in the Netherlands! There is plenty of electricity everywhere and a water tap is never far away. This was our second year and the chance of a third is very high..

21/09/2024: The few extra minutes of driving out of Martel is worth the cost. We felt pampered and out of time, we recommend the hotel but also the restaurant whether for dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed quality, homemade products. We recommend without hesitation!

28/08/2024: Room number 15 is very uncomfortable. The bed was the worst, 1.35 or 1.40cm at most and, above all, the horrible mattress, with back pain the next day. The bathroom is tiny, the toilet is in a cubicle where not even a person can stand if you want to close the door. To enter the bathtub you have to climb a step and then enter a bathtub with a step inside. The room is located under the stairs and you hear who is going up or down the stairs all the time. The window looks out onto a downstairs roof with no view. Breakfast is expensive for what they offer. We had a reservation for 3 nights but we asked to be changed because, in addition, my partner has knee surgery and couldn't get in and out of the bathtub well. But it couldn't be because they had it full. They told us that no one had ever complained and they took it badly, without any empathy for my partner's physical problem... We had to go to another hotel because being here on vacation will surely make you bitter. I hope that this review will at least change the attitude of those responsible when a guest tells them a problem.

10/09/2024: Excellent cuisine. But really “small” portions (especially compared with other restaurants of the same level). Professional service but very impersonal. After two dinners, I probably won't go back there again...

07/09/2024: Everything was absolutely perfect, the meal was succulent, the restaurant atmosphere very pleasant and exceptional service! Big crush on the sommelier who offered us an incredible food and wine pairing!

17/11/2024: A delicious fruit terrine! Same roast veal, with lots of different little vegetables! Wish: join a small glass of rum with the baba! It’s done in another of my favorite restaurants and everyone loves it.. We will come back!!!! Gourdon is not far away 😊🌞

08/10/2024: Very hearty meal of very good quality: we had a gabarre plate (everything was there: duck breast, gizzards, salad, breaded rocamadour and of course confit with fries) and for me a gourmet coffee. Very fair price. Pleasant setting. We had a great time.
