15/08/2024: A very pleasant surprise: authentic, tasty cuisine...very good address to remember!!!

15/08/2024: Arrival at this hostel by chance A pretty little corner of nature that makes you want to eat but No price displayed or perhaps display in a small corner For those who don't like duck there is no substitute it's duck or nothing A warm local wine and a bread soup that I make in the evenings in the middle of winter (A stew soup) Of course I like nature but eating with flies and fighting with them throughout the meal is quite annoying. A few fans would not be bad to avoid this disturbance. And finally the bill is very steep And the regulars are served first So conclusion I won't come back to it, if these people like to bother tourists I would rather eat elsewhere And yet praise at the entrance Petit Futé exetera..........

03/09/2024: We zijn hier al meerdere malen/jaren geweest. Ze hebben hier vaak een lunch menu voor maar € 18,50 en is echt perfect en de wijnen zoals het in Frankrijk behoord zijn prima. De bediening is geweldig en met name onze Nederlandse serveerster was meer dan behulpzaam. We komen snel terug!

04/09/2024: We were attracted by the superb wisteria, more than a century old, on the terrace and we did well. It's very good, it's very well served and the service is also excellent. Well prepared quality products, terrible desserts, an excellent address!!

21/09/2024: The few extra minutes of driving out of Martel is worth the cost. We felt pampered and out of time, we recommend the hotel but also the restaurant whether for dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed quality, homemade products. We recommend without hesitation!

28/08/2024: Room number 15 is very uncomfortable. The bed was the worst, 1.35 or 1.40cm at most and, above all, the horrible mattress, with back pain the next day. The bathroom is tiny, the toilet is in a cubicle where not even a person can stand if you want to close the door. To enter the bathtub you have to climb a step and then enter a bathtub with a step inside. The room is located under the stairs and you hear who is going up or down the stairs all the time. The window looks out onto a downstairs roof with no view. Breakfast is expensive for what they offer. We had a reservation for 3 nights but we asked to be changed because, in addition, my partner has knee surgery and couldn't get in and out of the bathtub well. But it couldn't be because they had it full. They told us that no one had ever complained and they took it badly, without any empathy for my partner's physical problem... We had to go to another hotel because being here on vacation will surely make you bitter. I hope that this review will at least change the attitude of those responsible when a guest tells them a problem.

13/09/2024: Very professional and pleasant welcome, the staff are smiling and attentive, they were able to recommend beaches and restaurants according to our desires (and we were not disappointed). A plus for the ambient scent, the hotel smells good, the rooms too. The view is magnificent and the decor is very tasteful! The bedding is great, we slept very well. As for breakfast, we enjoyed ourselves! It was exquisite with quality products! We will come back with pleasure!

15/07/2024: C'est la 3eme année que nous nous rendons à Martel pour le festival de bandas et 3eme fois que nous déjeunons au Martel'li . Rien n'a changé les pizzas sont très copieuses et très bonnes à prix très correct . La serveuse est très efficace et agréable nous recommandons vivement ce lieu .

24/09/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch on the terrace in this beautiful restaurant, which has a magnificent setting with a superb view. As for the food, everything was perfect, from starter to dessert. The cassoulet for example was very beautiful and perfectly seasoned, the rocamadour cream which accompanied the duck aiguillettes was delicious! The dishes being homemade, this highlights the gastronomy of the southwest and the authenticity of the owners of the place. They also offer local wine which was a great discovery for us who come from Bordeaux and who are not used to wines from regions different from ours. The service was impeccable: smiling, warm and attentive. We felt good and had a wonderful time. We will come back without hesitation

04/09/2024: Good morning, We used the catering service of the La Chartreuse restaurant for our wedding and it was a total success! The reception and the meal were very appreciated by the guests! The team this day was really great! The service and their cuisine are fabulous. I highly recommend this caterer who works with good humor and kindness! The manager of the catering service, Gwenn, is simply a wonderful person, very professional, attentive and very efficient. Elsa and Vincent
