24/01/2026: A restaurant with an absolutely magnificent dining room reminiscent of my mother's childhood, impeccable service, and above all, exceptionally good food.
The butcher's cut was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the AAAAA andouillette sausage with its delicious mashed potatoes and sauce was superb.
Thank you so much, we hope to return very soon :)

31/01/2026: To put it simply, we loved everything!
I personally really enjoyed the starter of black pudding, apples, and sliced scallops—original and delicious.
The owner does almost everything: reception, taking orders, serving, handling the cash register, clearing the table—but despite this, we didn't have to wait long, even though we were seated at a large table of 12 and other smaller tables.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

09/12/2025: Discovered the restaurant during an overnight stay. The soft-boiled eggs were excellent. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a subtly flavorful sauce. The service was quick and very professional. In short, a wonderful experience.

13/12/2024: Excellent time spent in complete simplicity, with a perfect welcome at the La Simplicity restaurant which lives up to its name.
We had a great time, the waitress has a very good knowledge of the dishes offered, without forgetting the wine that accompanies it.
I can only advise you to go and spend some time in all simplicity and taste the good dishes of YaYa.

22/01/2026: Fourth visit, and while they've changed the menu, everything else has changed too, and not for the better. Order a charcuterie item from the menu, and you get three slices of andouille sausage and three of salami. The sauerkraut on the menu is a disaster: cabbage with bacon, two sausages, and one potato (not very regional at all). As for the bread on the menu, it's simply leftover unfinished rolls from the regular menu. And the restrooms at the end of service are as clean as the dining room.

21/12/2025: Dining at Jean Michel Couron's restaurant is an experience not to be missed.
The dishes are exquisitely refined, the pairings of spices and wine are perfectly balanced.
We go there every year for our anniversary and we are never disappointed.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decor chic and elegant without being obsequious. A must-try.
13/11/2025: Simply divine! The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, the setting is intimate, and the cuisine is exceptional, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients. This is the real gem in Nevers, and nowhere else!

The wait time was very reasonable.

21/11/2025: We went there as a group to eat couscous, which was delicious. The meat was very tender and the portion was very generous. The cheese platter was extensive, and the dessert was a treat. The prices were reasonable. The waiter was very helpful. We'll definitely go back.

The food is truly exceptional: delicious and generous portions. You can immediately taste the passion in the kitchen.
The staff is very friendly, attentive, and smiling from beginning to end.
The place is unique and full of charm, with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
28/11/2025: A very good restaurant, a quick and pleasant find. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. I was a little disappointed with the chocolate fondant, which I found a bit pricey (€9) and not as good as the main course, which was excellent. Very good value for money.

28/01/2026: Two hours in total in this admittedly renovated restaurant is far too long. We had to ask the waitress with every course if she'd forgotten about us. On top of that, the quality was very average. The bison steak came from an animal that had roamed the Wild West, the fish and chips were dry, only the kebabs were decent... As for the portion sizes... Everything lacked flavor, except the bill... We won't be returning to this place that serves food but is far from being a proper restaurant.
