The journey continued with a perfectly cooked roasted hake, enhanced by a txakoli beurre blanc and the subtle bitterness of the bell pepper and zucchini duo. Pure bliss. To top it all off, the peach Melba for dessert provided a touch of wonderful sweetness. A must-visit restaurant where every dish is a masterpiece.

07/08/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome! We spent three hours enjoying three great board games thanks to the manager's excellent recommendations! The drinks were delicious; I especially loved the Cupidon and Celestia mocktails. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something to do in the evening. (Free parking nearby after 7 pm)

19/09/2026: Today, a colleague and I were looking for a restaurant. We arrived at Chez Gilles, looked at the menu board, and a bespectacled waiter seated us. We were the third table, roughly the sixth and seventh customers on the terrace. The same waiter gave us the menu and wine list and directed us towards the à la carte dishes—the most expensive ones, of course. He left, and as he did, he removed the menu board. He came back to take our order, and, darn it, we remembered what was written on the board. Too bad for him. We sensed that it bothered him, as if he thought we were easy targets for tourists and that, since he was going to be paying, he might as well charge us a fortune... and that wasn't all... The food was good, no complaints there, as was the owner—I think he was the one who took our money; he was cool. 😃 As for the atmosphere, I'd give it two stars. It's a shame he wasn't the one who served us. I'd give 5 stars for the atmosphere and the service. Speaking of the service, we had the same waiter from beginning to end. I ordered a bottled beer, which was served with a glass. Even though the bottle was taken away, the glass, thoughtfully placed for the waiter to return, kept us company throughout the meal. Then came dessert. We were asked if we wanted coffee in addition to dessert. My colleague said no, and I said yes. "Now or after dessert?" the waiter asked me... I replied, "After." Well, no, the coffee arrived while I was eating my dessert... halfway through it... While I never usually judge a place by first impressions, in this case, the waiter didn't exactly inspire me to return... 5 stars for the food 1 star for the service, just because I don't want to give it 0 2 stars for the atmosphere Best of luck
