09/11/2025: It's extremely rare for me to leave a review, but even though the terrace has an exceptional view, the service is deplorable. The waiter arrived without saying hello, after a short wait. Very unpleasant and not at all customer-oriented. It's terrible how these beautiful places can become so unprofessional that the people who work there no longer need to make the slightest effort to attract customers!

17/10/2025: For once, my wife and I were locals... Crashing a waffle after leaving the beach in early October. Bad luck... Super light batter... Added water or egg white... We'll never know... But no flavor... Just air, 🤔 €6 a waffle😡

23/11/2025: Unbeatable location in Place Louis XIV. We went with high expectations and the team at La Txalupa delivered. We started with a textbook Foie Gras: perfect texture and intense flavor. But the undisputed star is the Sole Plantxa (Sole). At €38 a dish, you expect quality, and they certainly delivered; fresh product, treated with absolute respect. Honorable mention to the wine (Gascogne Big Blc), a fantastic discovery for €22 that pairs beautifully with the fish. The service was surprisingly attentive and efficient for a tourist spot. The only downside: €5 for half a liter of Vittel water seems like highway robbery, but we forgive them for the final Gateau Basque. Recommended if you want quality and don't mind the price.

10/11/2025: A fantastic find at the end of October; everything was perfect, from the welcome to the dessert. A very warm welcome, a beautiful restaurant, a delicious meal with high-quality ingredients—what more can you say when everything is perfect, except that we highly recommend it!

15/09/2025: More than 10 years of experience...we wonder how it's possible. The gentleman is friendly and tries to be humorous but the dishes have no flavor, adapted to the French palate. Which is not what we look for when going to this kind of restaurant or caterer. I had never eaten a Thai dish with button mushrooms, a first!

15/09/2024: Vraiment très agréablement Surprise comme quoi il ne faut pas toujours faire attention aux avis trop négatifs on y a mangé une délicieuse paella. Merci aux serveurs qui y sont vraiment très disponible et jovial.

30/10/2024: Accueil déplorable , on a l’impression de déranger … Arrivée a 13h un mercredi pendant les vacances de Toussaint , on nous installe au bout de 10 minutes d attentes puis on attend de nouveau 10-15 minutes avant de prendre commande , on nous refuse une assiette de frite alors que la suggestion du jour est une entrecôte frites … puis on nous annonce qu’il n’y a finalement plus d entrecôte … un bol de soupe de poisson pour 10€ , 3 misérables pequillos pour 10€ … on est parti sur le champ et avons trouvé notre bonheur dans les rues alentours !!! Une honte , déplorable , je n’ai jamais vu ça , passez votre chemin !!
