The waiter, Julen, will make you feel right at home and take care of you like no other waiter in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

08/08/2026: While searching for a typical lunch spot, we stumbled upon this restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. The staff was incredibly friendly. The tapas and main course were excellent, and the value for money was unbeatable. The waiter eventually convinced us to try his Basque cake, and we were so glad we did.

25/08/2026: The best Basque cake (cream for me, I can't speak for the others). The best pastries. The best ice cream (special mention for the pistachio and vanilla). A delight, a joy, an absolute must!

26/08/2026: We arrived at 2:00 PM, the market was closed. The servers gave us a very warm welcome, and we were served quickly. The products looked and were indeed fresh from the market. Four stars because the fries weren't homemade, but that's a very minor point. The place has a real charm; it's a shame we don't have something like this closer to home, as we would eat in our own town more often. Thank you to the servers for this lovely experience.

14/08/2026: Since the change of ownership, the quantities have drastically changed. €3.50 extra for 6 slices of chorizo ​​(€0.60 per slice) when they pay €3 for 20 slices. I used to order from them, but this is the last time for me. From now on, it'll be Bobby or Bellini without hesitation.

27/08/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. We were there for an hour and a half, mainly due to the wait and various service problems. Once our order was served, the drinks were missing. We asked for them once, then a second time, and finally had to go back to the counter ourselves to get them. We had also ordered ice cream for later. The result: a wait of over 20 minutes. An employee had told us he would take care of it, but he was busy with something else, and we had to wait without really knowing when it would arrive. I can completely understand that there might be a staff shortage, and honestly, it was very noticeable. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed and were struggling to manage the situation. However, measures should be put in place to prevent this kind of situation from happening again. Ultimately, frustrated customers due to the long wait and stressed, overwhelmed employees mean no one wins. It's a shame, because with better organization and more resources, the experience could be very different.

18/04/2026: Fantastic stay, as usual! Superb, very pleasant campsite. Beautiful unobstructed view from the mobile home. The green spaces are lovely and very well maintained. We've already had a chance to enjoy the pool. The accommodations are comfortable and modern, and the staff are very friendly! Looking forward to our next holiday! 🏖🌊🌴

25/08/2026: I came for lunch without a reservation for two, and we were very warmly welcomed. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and professional. We're discovering Saint-Jean-de-Luz and we weren't disappointed. We ordered two glasses of white wine and two Caesar salads, which were simply divine—a real treat! I highly recommend it; ideal for a meal or just a drink.

23/08/2026: The waiter looks more like a bouncer...run away. Don't even bother asking for a carafe of water...or a glass, you'll never get one...same goes for peanuts...

09/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We ordered takeaway pizzas and, unfortunately, the quality was really lacking: the dough and toppings were very disappointing, to the point that some frozen pizzas are better. As for wine, only one selection was offered, and it was frankly very bad and overpriced. The only positive point was that the staff were friendly and welcoming. But friendliness alone is unfortunately not enough: the restaurant business requires real expertise.

30/07/2026: The food on the plates wasn't enough to justify the price of the dishes; I should have read the previous reviews, oh well, our loss. For €12 in the Ardèche region, with nice fries and local goat cheese, I got the burger pictured, which is quite relevant considering what you serve and its price. Since you're being disingenuous, I suggest you look at the comments and reviews I usually leave. Instead of defending yourself by saying I'm rarely satisfied, I suggest you reflect on your own performance.

03/07/2026: I placed my order at 7:45 PM and was told it would take 45 minutes. My order, delivered by Uber Eats, finally arrived at 9:40 PM, almost two hours later. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with Uber Eats. During a previous order from another restaurant, the delivery driver simply left with my order. At this point, the problem seems to lie more with the delivery method than with the restaurant itself. Relying exclusively on Uber Eats to reduce staffing costs comes at the expense of service quality and the customer experience. It's truly a shame.

27/06/2026: We went for dinner because we were staying at a nearby campsite and we were very comfortable. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, the food was served quickly and everything was delicious. A bit pricey, but the portions are generous.
