01/05/2026: Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place. The pizzas were almost inedible. On the positive side, the service was friendly, and the beer was decent. The wine, however, was a complete disappointment. The condition of the restaurant was particularly disappointing: it was very dirty overall, the windows were so grimy you could barely see through them, and the floor was unkempt. There were also withered plants everywhere and a general lack of decor. I almost never write reviews, so we can't understand the many 5-star ratings. All in all, unfortunately, not a place we would return to.

21/10/2025: Never seen anything like it. Nonexistent service, sloppy cooking, no consideration for the customer. Scalding hot, overcooked, limp prawns, thrown unpeeled on two wilted salad leaves—it was supposed to be prawn salad. Seriously? The kids' menu? An insult. Nothing good, everything is greasy and full of oil, not even the bare minimum. We ended up laughing about it, but in hindsight: a sandwich bought in a bakery, facing the sea, would have been a feast compared to this. Move on. There are much better options—everywhere else.

19/10/2025: Very disappointed... a sharing board... or not! Only enough for one person at €19! Monkfish tail with chorizo ​​cooked on the grill, burnt and very small at €20 Children's menu with chicken and fries... as well cooked as the fish with its ice cream stick €13... a bit exaggerated! Wonky table and uncomfortable chairs... despite having made a reservation, we ended up with chairs and tables set aside (it's a shame). Luckily, the rosé was good! 🤣

27/04/2026: Nice terrace in a pedestrian alley. Friendly welcome. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par. The seafood paella was bland. The children's hamburgers, ordered medium-rare, arrived raw. A tuna steak with four fries. Our neighbors left without eating their meals. Furthermore, the glasses were so worn they were no longer transparent. A real shame.

23/04/2026: For the price, you certainly shouldn't expect better... Small portions, frozen fries, but decent overall.

17/05/2026: Awful. I'm not usually picky, but honestly, don't go there. The price seems attractive with their €19.90 set menu: starter + main course + dessert. It's easy to see why. - The salad and deviled eggs were completely processed, minimalist, and uninteresting. - The chorizo ​​burgers were clearly frozen. Ours were identical, a truly astonishing comparison. They didn't even ask how we wanted them cooked. - The rice pudding was mushy, with an awful texture. The dessert in a glass contained a quarter of a soft white cheese at the bottom, not even fresh—I pointed it out to the waiter—accompanied by a so-called red fruit coulis. Despite everything, the waiters were friendly. Two desserts were wandering around the room because they couldn't remember which table they were for… they finally brought us an extra rice pudding. At least it gave us a chance to laugh with the other diners and the staff. The restrooms were filthy. I even saw a waiter wipe his hands on his apron as he came out of the restroom. We also got yelled at by the neighbor because our table was under his bedroom window! At least we'll remember it!

15/05/2026: We were asked to come inside when we looked at the menus outside. We ordered two set menus; while the starters were more or less fine, my Basque chicken arrived lukewarm, and the mussels for my husband were completely cold, so we sent them back for a warmer dish. After five minutes, the dish returned just as cold, so we decided to cut our lunch short. The owner listened to us and charged us for the dishes we had eaten and drunk from the menu. We were therefore at a loss.

10/05/2026: This restaurant was a huge disappointment. The waitresses were very friendly, but that's where the quality ends. The prices were relatively high for the quality of the meal. A salmon salad for €16 had a lot of lettuce, drowned in a commercial dressing, and hard-boiled eggs with blackened yolks. The fries were frozen. We felt like we were bothering them as they were closing (at 9 pm on a Saturday night). We didn't have dessert, and next time we'll read the reviews...

08/05/2026: €90 for 5 people (2 children) sounds good on paper. But eating 100% defrosted food, nothing homemade, is like eating at Flunch (only worse). Just 100 meters from the sea, we expected fresh fish served hot. I don't know how this place can call itself a "restaurant," it's more like a tourist trap.

15/04/2026: My 10-year-old son went in alone to buy his snack. He burst into tears when he left because the saleswoman was so unpleasant to him! Congratulations: it takes real skill to manage to hurt a child who was just there to buy his snack!

15/04/2026: We were looking for a bakery near the market hall because there weren't any left connected to the market and it was very crowded. We stumbled upon this one and bought what was left: two baguettes. Well, how can I put it? The saleswoman was incredibly unpleasant—no smile, no thank you, no hello, and she only said goodbye after three of us had to say it. And the bread? It tasted moldy or like an uncleaned baking mat. It's truly shameful to sell bread like that in the city center. What surprises me is that, reading the reviews, it seems this has been going on for years and they haven't made any effort to improve. Luckily, there are tourists like us who fall for it and keep this bakery afloat. Otherwise, it would have closed down already. In any case, it will be the last time we set foot in there.

22/04/2026: Waffles identical to those at Lopez, but sold here for almost twice the price. However, that's not really what prompted this review. While waiting for my order, I decided to order a "homemade iced tea." To my surprise, I saw the manager pour a can of Lipton Ice Tea into the machine. At first, I tried to put things in perspective by noticing Lipton stickers on the machine, thinking it might be a commercial partnership. The next day, I asked the manager point-blank if the iced teas were homemade. She answered without hesitation that they were. Presenting a mass-produced, watered-down beverage as a homemade product is simply misleading and deeply dishonest towards customers. For truly homemade iced teas that are better and cheaper, I recommend Café Frappé at 54 Rue Saint-Jacques.
