11/12/2025: We stumbled upon this place the first time and now we keep coming back because everything is delicious! The fish is fresh and the pieces are truly beautiful, not just a small bit drowned in rice. They are very friendly and accommodating, and their eco-friendly approach of not offering tuna separately by special order to avoid waste is much appreciated. In short, as a Lyon resident for 10 years and after trying quite a few Japanese restaurants, this is without a doubt the best in the city!

16/11/2025: Freshly prepared sushi. The salmon is incredibly generous and excellent. One of the best sushi places in Lyon.

02/10/2025: A new concept, now a party bar has just opened! A young and trendy, super friendly team, a DJ deck, good music, good vibes. The platters are generous and the cocktail menu is out of the ordinary. Non-alcoholic drinks as if there were any 🫶 To discover without delay❤️

20/02/2026: I ordered a vegan bagel and two desserts, all delicious. Delivery was fast. A great place for vegans, with lots of options.

02/02/2026: Very disappointed and upset by the brunch 😔 - The buffet was tiny, with very little choice - The bread and pastries were poor quality - The pancakes were burnt on a charred griddle (you're eating the toxic non-stick coating, thanks a lot…) and the smoke filled the inside, it was really unpleasant - The coffee was undrinkable - The dessert was stingy For €32 per person, I think it's really not up to standard. The positive points, however: - No complaints about the service - The food was tasty

31/01/2026: First time I went, I loved it, surprised by the quality of the food. It was fresh and delicious, perfectly seasoned and of very high quality. The salmon was excellent, and everything else was just as good. The drinks, like the rosé, were great—not undrinkable soda, but a good rosé. We loved it and will definitely go back. The restaurant was packed, so it's best to book on the weekend. Fantastic restaurant!

11/12/2025: A very warm welcome. A lovely menu and cuisine made with quality ingredients. A very enjoyable meal for a birthday celebration in a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: It's so good!!!! I'm never disappointed by the dishes offered, and the value for money is unbeatable in the area (€21 for a main course and dessert)! Kudos to the chef(s) and the manager: it's always a pleasure to have lunch at 136!

23/02/2026: A typical Lyonnais bistro, we had a great time with friends. There are several starters, a main course, and several desserts as well. We ate very well and the atmosphere was friendly!

22/02/2026: A typical, unpretentious Lyonnais bistro. We filled in for a table of 12. The appetizers and charcuterie were served in salad bowls for everyone. We were able to quickly sample everything (by the time we'd washed our hands, the salad bowls had been cleared away, and the charcuterie was just what the other 10 people had left). The main course was very good and generous; I just think my neighbor at the next table was forgotten regarding the side dish for his butcher's cut, unless the small individual gratin dish was meant for two. The cervelle de canut (a cheese spread) was very spicy; it's a shame it wasn't offered plain. Finally, regarding dessert, it would be better to serve the flan in slices for each person. We had one flan (the size of a loaf pan) for 12 people (the slices were thin, especially when some people helped themselves generously), while a table of four at the back of the room, facing the street, received the same flan. The prunes were delicious, as was the compote, but again it was impossible to have more, the salad bowls were quickly collected by the waitress...Our table neighbors were charming and contributed to making our time enjoyable.

19/02/2026: We came to this restaurant twice for Valentine's Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time, it was the last straw... Between total disorganization (tables not served in order of arrival), numerous mistakes throughout the evening (cocktails with alcohol when a non-alcoholic drink was requested, a fish dish brought before the starter, cheese brought before the meat...), not enough water carafes to provide water for everyone (even though we were among the first 20 customers in the restaurant, i.e., 10 tables), aperitifs and amuse-bouches served after more than 45 minutes, the arrival of reinforcements after 1 hour 30 minutes/1 hour 45 minutes to find out where we were, even though we had only had the starter, a mediocre meal despite being charged €95 [no relation to what was served before, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the dishes served, especially the meat with its dried-out pasta...], and no more valet parking... In the end, 3 hours and 30 minutes during which We hesitated between a special "kitchen nightmare" segment to see where the problem lay and a hidden camera to see people's reactions (including those who left after more than two hours with only an aperitif and starter)... Catastrophic and nightmarish for a completely ruined Valentine's Day evening... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

19/01/2026: What more can we say than absolutely fantastic! The decor is a blend of modern and retro, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There's a lovely, spacious outdoor area with a terrace that we'd be delighted to explore when the weather is nice. The welcome was friendly and professional, with a real focus on customer satisfaction. We wanted to order sweet potato fries, but they refused because they weren't happy with the day's batch; they said they were a failure. We ended up ordering classic homemade fries, which were really good, just like the rest of our meals, which were as generous as they were delicious. In short, we highly recommend this fantastic place, and we can't wait to come back. We don't have any photos to add to this review because we were too busy enjoying ourselves 😉 P.S.: Their apartment, which we rented through Airbnb, was just as lovely.

02/03/2026: We waited an hour and a half for our two-course order and were told that this wait time "was normal." Furthermore, our courses were served 30 minutes apart, and we were told this was because the first course was cooking faster. Clearly, there was no anticipation or consideration of preparation times. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't make up for these drawbacks. The service was unpleasant: the table wasn't cleared, and the waitresses did nothing to shorten the wait, which was again treated as normal. It's a shame; we won't be returning.

08/02/2026: I strongly advise against Chinese people going there. They have absolutely no sense of manners. We waited for over an hour without a single dish arriving, while many tables that arrived after us had already received their food. We questioned the waiter about why our food hadn't arrived yet. The "young" waiter initially spoke confidently and calmly, saying, "We serve food in the order of order." Then I asked why another table of five people, who arrived later than us, had already eaten. We had already accepted that several smaller tables that arrived after us had finished their appetizers, only mentioning that a five-person table had been served. After that, the "young" waiter fell silent, and her expression became less confident. I added that I wasn't blaming her at all, but she looked embarrassed and aggrieved. I immediately emphasized several times that I was only addressing a kitchen issue, but she still cried and was taken away by another waiter, who said she was just a child… We later learned that the young waitress was only 13 years old! Shortly after, several dishes were served, and the chef, before all the dishes were even served, came over to apologize for the slow service, asking us not to blame her daughter. We were shocked! What had we done wrong?! Putting aside the fact that she used her daughter as a shield and that she was a child laborer, we also had a three-year-old child who waited a full hour to eat! Is this the attitude she expects? Finally, the chef brought out the last dish of hand-torn cabbage and, with her 13-year-old daughter, came to us and apologized again, then said to her daughter in a very harsh tone, "Apologize!" The chef's attitude was the epitome of rudeness. We were almost speechless... Finally, she emphasized that each dish was prepared one table at a time, according to the order, but even though the French people behind us arrived later than us, our dishes still took at least 20 minutes to arrive. I understand that you are slow in serving the food, but it is simply absurd to serve the food out of order and then think that we made her daughter cry! If you are not able to handle a large number of customers, you can inform them when they order, instead of using an arrogant and rude attitude to justify yourself.
