05/05/2026: The €78 tasting menu, with two asparagus spears on the plate as a starter (photo attached), I find that very disappointing.

03/05/2026: We celebrated my birthday here, and unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The food was visually beautiful and creative, but overall quite bland, more focus on aesthetics than flavor. Service was also underwhelming from the start, with staff avoiding eye contact and coming across as distant rather than welcoming. Midway through the evening (after about four courses), something seemed to go wrong internally with the staff, and the whole experience unraveled. Service essentially stopped - not just for us, but for several tables around us. We waited over an hour for dessert with no updates, no water refills, and no offers for additional drinks. It genuinely felt like we had been forgotten. This was the first time I’ve been in a restaurant where I was actively hoping to leave. When the desserts finally came, the experience had already been overshadowed. To top it off, as we were literally walking out the door, they realized it was my birthday and offered a small cake, but by then it felt like an afterthought, and we didn’t stay. Overall, a disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion.

10/04/2026: A real gem! 🤩 We enjoyed every bite from start to finish: generous portions, bursting with flavor, and a chef who truly masters his craft 👨‍🍳✨ But beyond the (already incredible) food, it's the atmosphere that makes all the difference: a smiling, warm, and attentive manager with infectious good humor! We loved it! Honestly, flawless 👏 You go there to eat… and you come back for their good vibes! 💛

21/04/2026: Okay, but a few missteps. I went with a client, without a reservation. We easily found a seat in the large upstairs room, although the limited space made business conversations a bit difficult – to be expected in this type of establishment. The staff was friendly, but one detail spoiled the experience: our dishes were switched when we ordered. They realized it, took the dishes back under the pretext of an "order error"... only to serve them again two minutes later, still a false claim, without explanation or apology. A shame, because we would have readily accepted the mistake as it was. In total: €90 for two tartares (one of which was 300g), sparkling water, and two gourmet coffees. The prices are in line with the market, but it's still surprising!

18/03/2026: Very good pizza, thin crust, not burnt but not undercooked either. Reasonable price.

25/02/2026: Excellent pizza and the owner is very pleasant. I'm not being overly friendly, but honestly, I envy you going to see him; he makes amazing pizzas.

24/04/2026: Fantastic canteen! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! The meat and fries are amazing!

28/04/2026: A very pleasant place with very friendly staff. However, given the simplicity of the dishes, one might expect better, especially the hard-boiled eggs in the Lyonnaise salad. And finally, the highlight of the meal: 16 euros for a 50cl bottle of Mâcon wine... I've honestly never seen anything like it, it's highway robbery. Putting that aside, it was okay, but nothing special.

28/03/2026: A fantastic bistro – a little removed from the hustle and bustle – where the homemade dishes are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. We thoroughly enjoyed a generous casserole of veal blanquette.

10/04/2026: Long live Lyonnaise cuisine! You'll find plenty to enjoy. Andouillettes, quenelles, lamb sweetbreads, etc. Fast service.

03/04/2026: Chanchan and his team are on top form, more than ever. We enjoyed a delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere, chatting with other diners. The chef has fully recovered, and the reopening was a success. Here, you can eat homemade fries! The charm and quality of Croix-Rousse are right here at the "business" 😋

04/04/2026: The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable; they might seem exorbitant, but the portions are so generous that you get your money's worth. Most of the drinks and desserts are homemade.

24/04/2026: This is probably the Chinese restaurant with the best value for money; I've been a customer for over ten years.

03/04/2026: The food was excellent, the portions were generous and delicious! In true Asian style, it's best to share dishes with your table to enjoy all the wonderful food. The value for money is fantastic; the only downside was the wait for service: nearly 30 minutes for a starter of six dumplings, then about 20 minutes for our main courses.

02/03/2026: A nice pub that a friend introduced me to. We went there in the afternoon for a good beer while waiting for the concert we'd come to see at Tony Garnier. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, but it was still very pleasant. I'll definitely go back to this pub next time I'm in Lyon.

18/04/2026: Another great find: a lovely, delicious bouchon in a beautiful location. Excellent, typical Lyonnaise cuisine. Attentive staff with great recommendations. Go without hesitation!

04/04/2026: We found a table around 12:30, which was good. We tried two different pizzas, and all three were good. However, we felt the pizzas weren't golden enough.

23/01/2026: A very pleasant place. We received a very warm and attentive welcome. The selection is varied, the food is very good, and the value for money is unbeatable in the area. A big plus for the service; many others should take note.
