02/12/2025: I didn't like my customer experience. I wanted to order via my phone, but I couldn't select two pickup points. I contacted customer service, who weren't very helpful, so I continued with my order on my computer anyway. I ordered €60 worth of coffee, only to be told it was back in stock, even though it wasn't listed as such on the website. The refund took seven days to process, which is ridiculous. I can't comment on the quality of the coffee; I imagine it's very good, but I haven't had the chance to try it. I'm quite disappointed.

16/11/2025: What a shame. I was given a coffee roasting course with them for Christmas. The course was cancelled (no problem, they had a major issue to deal with). But I followed up in person, by email, by phone… at least four or five times. Each time they noted my contact information and promised to call me back. It's been over a year. No refund or new date.

17/05/2026: Subway Saint-Sever: a disgrace. I ordered a 30-cent Steak & Cheese Sub, but there was no steak or cheese, literally zero cheese. The bun was completely soggy and wet, to the point that the sandwich was inedible. Everything leaked into the packaging; the preparation was sloppy and the product inedible. Considering the price, it's frankly unacceptable. I won't be going back.

01/12/2025: We ordered through Uber Eats. Once the order and payment were complete, I immediately noticed an error in the restaurant's address. I didn't have the option to cancel or modify the order through the app. So I called the restaurant. The person I spoke to told me it wouldn't be possible to cancel because they had too many orders and it would take too long to go to the kitchen and search using my name. Then the manager took the phone and tried to explain why my order couldn't be canceled. I confess I didn't understand any of the explanations. It was impossible to communicate with this person, who was clearly more frustrated by the situation than I was. We regret having experienced this ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

31/05/2026: I came on the evening of the Champions League final; the temperature was very high outside, so logically it was also high inside. We had a reservation for 10. The waiter came to ask us what we wanted to order. We ordered and simultaneously asked for a carafe of water because it was VERY HOT, and we were told, "Water is only served with food." Later, we learned that it was actually only the carafe of water that was served with food, but we could have had a glass of water. So, for the second seating, we reordered and asked for two more glasses of water in addition to the ten we had ordered. We were told, "Okay." In the end, no glasses of water. Then came the third seating. We all ordered something except for one person who asked for a glass of water, and they told him, "No, you have to order something." I reminded him that we were on our third seating, had been there for an hour, and it was 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). We decided not to make a fuss and reordered, asking for one more glass of water, but the order arrived, and still no glass of water. So we asked the owner for a glass of water. "No, guys, we don't serve water," he said. We replied, "What do you mean you have to? It's mandatory!" He responded, "No, you're not going to tell me how to do my job." So we retorted that it was the law, especially in this temperature, and he told us, "If you want, you can get up and go get some, let my waiter do his job." We didn't mind getting up, but he should have told us beforehand, and especially since I don't mean to be disrespectful to the waiter whose job it is to SERVE people. In short, I deplore the owner's tone over a glass of water in 30-degree heat. Finally, before the match started, a pint of beer was advertised as €6 until 9 pm, but at 6 pm, the price had gone back up to €7.50, and the happy hour discount was ultimately removed without explanation or warning before our second order.

22/05/2026: Excellent daily special. Finally, decent fries in this brasserie compared to other brasseries or restaurants in Rouen. Very good fish and chips. Reasonable prices.

17/05/2026: Ordered two set menus at €26.90 (main course and dessert). Sirloin steak and fries – frozen fries, which was a shame. Chuck roast with paprika sauce and mashed potatoes – very good, but I would have liked a bit more meat. French toast-style brioche and a scoop of vanilla ice cream – very good. Excellent staff. 03/05/2026: The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. However, the service is not at all friendly to tourists. The waiters are extremely impatient and give the impression that they don't care about providing good service or helping the customer. If the person doesn't speak French, the lack of willingness to help becomes even more evident. I regretted choosing to eat at a place with such poor service.

10/06/2026: Okay... the view of Lyon is nice 👀. BUT THAT'S NOT EVERYTHING 😟. The whole team was great at welcoming and serving 👍😀. However, I found the menu minimalist 🍽🍷, the dishes arrived almost cold, and the price is relatively high 💰💰💰. A shame for such a renowned establishment.

30/03/2026: A kebab just the way we like them: simple, hearty, and inexpensive! However, the atmosphere is unforgettable; a cosmopolitan and welcoming clientele, and what can I say about Tahar except that he is a marvel of humanity and selfless kindness!

01/12/2025: Just thank you, thank you for this Royal kebab, steak perfectly paired with harissa and seven white beers. Everything was perfect, from the service to the end of my meal. I loved it! My friends and I were treated to homemade fries. Excellent! We ate very well and thank you for your exemplary and original service. The chef was very friendly. Thank you! I hope your business never closes!!!

13/05/2026: My husband and I had lunch here today and we won't be back. We ordered grilled andouillette sausage with mustard sauce. The andouillette was so overcooked it was black with a crust on top; it was inedible, and the owner told us it was normal, lol. He always served it like that. You should think about cleaning your grill. It's not the first time I've had grilled andouillette, and it's never been that black. Furthermore, the mustard sauce had no flavor. You should add mustard and seasoning to the sauce. It was better before, when the other owner was there. He's terrible and not at all customer-oriented. I don't recommend it; avoid it.

10/02/2026: I arrived with my colleague at 6:03 PM on a Friday. The bar was practically empty. After walking several kilometers, we decided to sit on the terrace. My colleague ordered a beer. As for me, wanting to stay energized since we still had a long drive ahead of us, I simply ordered a coffee. The waiter, visibly annoyed, curtly explained that he no longer served hot drinks after 6:00 PM (I remind you, it was 6:03 PM). I then asked him if tea would be possible (boiling water and putting in a tea bag didn't seem like an unreasonable request). The waiter stared at me for almost a minute, then replied condescendingly: "So, I'll repeat myself, since you don't seem to have understood: I NO LONGER SERVE HOT DRINKS AFTER 6:00 PM." As a result, I didn't order anything. We decided to laugh it off and leave, but the experience was frankly unpleasant. If you're looking for a welcoming place to have a drink, I strongly advise you to avoid this place. Reading other reviews, I see that this waiter seems to be consistently rude, especially to people he considers "foreigners." And since leaving a review on Google isn't easy, the establishment receives much higher ratings than the welcome and service actually deserve.

07/02/2026: The first floor is cramped and noisy. This Friday, February 6th, at lunchtime, there were 28 covers despite the posted capacity of 19 (a safety measure?). Cleanliness needs improvement; the cutlery was dirty. The food quality could be better. Aside from the location... a place to avoid.

28/12/2025: Excellent brasserie! Lunch for four as a family. Aperitif with a spritz, a glass of white wine, and two sodas. Two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), with a poached egg with Camembert as a starter. For the main course, chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese and homemade fries, and tarte tatin for dessert. For the children, a burger and a flank steak with homemade fries. All the dishes were delicious. Sanitation is well-maintained, and the food is both tasty and plentiful for a very reasonable price (€99.70). All this with a magnificent view of the Rouen courthouse (absolutely beautiful). Friendly and efficient service. Well done and thank you!

14/06/2026: The fries are cold, the sandwich is cold, and the drink is only half full. The dining area isn't clean, and the employees aren't working in good conditions, and it shows.

03/06/2026: I'm really annoyed by the manager; she's very rude and haughty. I went to ask her for information, and she answered me without even looking at me, even though she wasn't busy. I let my 9-year-old son go order an ice cream, and he made a mistake. She refused to change it, still without looking at me. I told her I'd have to throw it away, and she told me to go ahead. Absolutely no customer service skills—appalling for a manager. She needs to be replaced.
