27/03/2026: Before writing this review, I sent an email (no reply) and a message through the website (no reply).
Here is the message I sent:
Hello,
I placed an order for over €30 which I picked up yesterday evening at 7:50 PM on March 9th.
Unfortunately, the fish was spoiled, the sushi was sharp, the salad was wilted—in short, the entire order was inedible.
This ruined our evening, and we had to improvise another meal.
I request a refund or some form of compensation.
If we cannot find an amicable solution, I will have to leave reviews on Google and TripAdvisor and inform the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control).
Thank you for your understanding and prompt reply.

27/01/2026: I received a very warm welcome and ordered the lunch menu with skewers and California rolls. The fish portion was noticeably more generous than other sushi I've tried. The miso soup was delicate and mild, and the cabbage salad was perfectly seasoned. The skewers are definitely worth the trip.

21/03/2026: A Jean Jaurès institution, this ice cream parlor is very pleasant with its terrace, excellent service, friendly welcome, and comfortable parasols.
22/02/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit.
I was served a waffle for €6.20 that wasn't even topped with Nutella, accompanied by two small samples of Nutella, not nearly enough to cover the entire waffle. Given the price, you'd expect at least a decent topping, especially when you order a Nutella waffle.
Of course, the chestnut cream crepe placed next to the waffle was also untopped.
When it came time to pay, they tried to charge us €18 (2 coffees + waffle + crepe) by explaining that it was a supposedly better value "afternoon tea menu," when the actual total should have been €16. We calmly pointed out the discrepancy, and were told that "the owner said to do it that way."
Then they came back to us, suggesting we had made a mistake in our calculations... and this time quoting us €20. No, we hadn't made a mistake. I don't understand since when it's the customer's responsibility to do the math and justify the bill.
On top of that, the table wasn't cleaned at all between the previous customers and us, which is unacceptable.
Between the overpriced waffle considering the quality, the inconsistencies on the bill, and the lack of apology from the manager or the waitress, the experience was very disappointing.
We won't be back.

31/12/2025: Room. Strange smell. Noise from the refrigerator compressors all night, terrible breakfast. No bread or brioche, the staff's response was, "That's just how it is," in a... [unclear] tone.
I don't recommend it.
However, the food was excellent.
03/10/2025: Very good restaurant, not to be missed.

18/10/2025: An exceptional address at the very top of the village of Cordes. A restaurant serving family cuisine and excellent quality.
It's got it all, from the quality of the daily special to grilled sausage with an excellent gratin dauphinois. The service is top-notch.
Very good value for money.
We recommend it and will return.

Besides, I heard that their pastries aren't made by them but by a pastry chef from Mazamet! 😅😅😅 Hence the frozen products!

09/11/2025: We ordered (by phone) a Paris-Brest for 8 people for the following day. The person we spoke to told us these cakes were for 4 people, so we agreed to order two. We picked them up on Saturday at 9:30 am, put them in the refrigerator, and cut them at the end of the meal. We then discovered that they had been frozen; the cream was still hard... A huge disappointment, we were so embarrassed in front of our guests.
It's unacceptable for an establishment we trusted, and inconceivable that we weren't informed. Had we known this dessert was frozen, we wouldn't have bought it. We won't be going back.

28/01/2026: It is advertised as open 7 days a week. I went there with my family and it was closed.
21/11/2025: If I could give more stars, I would!! The manager, Rodrigue, and the employee, Tamara, were super friendly, kind, and very pleasant. I loved eating there, and so did my friend!! To all the students who want to go, don't hesitate; there are several great deals.
It was delicious, and we'll definitely be back. Get ready to see us every week! Thank you so much! 💗

18/03/2026: You don't know how to treat customers; you should go back to school to study management or at least get your high school diploma to avoid losing so many customers.
The staff rushed me and didn't listen (ps: there was nobody in the shop) and offered me nothing even though I asked for advice.
On top of that, I couldn't eat on the terrace because they claimed there was no room (the terrace was empty).
18/03/2026: Hello (to remain polite), always a good atmosphere… a smile wouldn't go amiss. Do you plan to continue this reception service? If we could create a "rudeness" award, it would be perfect for you!

19/02/2026: I came for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had a ribeye steak and I must say it was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, with a very welcoming young waiter.

21/04/2026: It's ridiculous, clearly written in large print with a big poster: all-you-can-eat couscous Tuesday evening.
I arrive at 8:00 PM Tuesday evening and they tell me there's no more couscous.
20/04/2026: As soon as we arrived, it was chaos. There was very little choice in the appetizers. Only one till and a very long queue, all at 1:30 PM, so not an unusual time. A friend complained to a guy who turned out to be the manager, and he had the nerve to take it badly and tell her to come work there herself because she must be better at her job than him... In short, a really poor start. They messed up my order; I asked for an egg on my steak, and I never saw it. I had to ask for more fries even though everyone else was waiting for them. My steak wasn't rare, but half-blue. I finally managed to eat well, but it was a real struggle... I'll never come back here!!!

15/03/2026: We were disappointed when we ordered takeout and had to wait a long time. In the end, we got soggy fries, an undercooked burger bun, and very little cheese. Things have changed a lot, which is a shame.
09/02/2026: Quite disappointed, it's nothing like it used to be. The paninis are practically just bread with no filling or sauce, and they were barely cooked and hot. The burgers have shrunk considerably without a corresponding price reduction. The American burger had almost no sauce or meat. In short, the quality has declined significantly compared to when the food truck was there, or even compared to the very beginning of the kiosk. However, the staff are very friendly, which is one of the only positive points.
