28/06/2026: Edible pizza, but frankly not the best. The dough is like bread, the grated Emmental has clearly replaced the mozzarella, and the Hawaiian pizza here is called a Mexican pizza (??)... They don't take credit cards, in short, for 10 euros you can easily find better alternatives.

25/09/2026: The welcome and service were barely acceptable. The food was nothing special. The waitress needs to improve her customer service skills.

22/09/2026: We had a wonderful evening. The quality of the menu was perfect, excellent value for money 🥇 The owner is extraordinary, a man with strong values, I think... The waitress was charming! Don't change a thing! We'll be back when we're in the area.

02/09/2026: A disgrace! Almost eight euros for a ham salad, with barely any ham, unlike the salad which is overflowing. Eight euros for a salad? I hope that with the profit you're making you at least pay your employees properly.

29/08/2026: This place is a stop on our route, and it's always a pleasure to stop for a coffee and pastries. The products are excellent. The bread wreath is high quality and keeps very well. We couldn't resist the dried sausage, which was delicious.

05/09/2026: I received a very warm welcome from the vendor, and it was a pleasure chatting with him about the different products. The chicken was delicious, and definitely not from Ukraine. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back.

09/09/2026: The reception and service are still just as bad 🤯🤯 Once a year I try again with hope and nostalgia, but this time… 3 years in a row, I'm done.

14/08/2026: Avoid at all costs!! This restaurant is a chaotic mess where the servers are constantly rushing around and the atmosphere is tense. As for the food, the Caesar salad, served without dressing and containing cold, canned nuggets, is a disgrace. The hamburger was dry and also without sauce, as was the salad. Perhaps they should slow down a bit and take better care of their customers and the food they serve!!!

31/12/2025: Room. Strange smell. Noise from the refrigerator compressors all night, terrible breakfast. No bread or brioche, the staff's response was, "That's just how it is," in a... [unclear] tone. I don't recommend it. However, the food was excellent.

29/06/2026: The bakery section is unfortunately served by a very unfriendly saleswoman. I had a bad experience with her, and it's not the first time. Her attitude is cold and unwelcoming. She barely says hello and often simply asks, "What can I get you?" in a tone that makes it seem as if customers are bothering her. I find this regrettable, especially in a business where customer service is essential. I'm not the only one who has experienced this: several of my colleagues and their partners have had the same impression. A simple hello, a smile, and a little courtesy would make a big difference. I hope this feedback will be taken into account to improve customer service.

13/08/2026: Since the Grand Café opened, we've been there several times with family and friends. The welcome is warm, the service is quick and friendly, and the drinks are delicious and less expensive than elsewhere. It's a real asset to downtown Lavaur, which is thriving thanks to this café. We can't wait to try their food soon. I highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: I'm not very happy with the owner's behavior. David, I'm a good, regular customer with my partner, and all this over a drink we bought for less than at his place. Yelling in front of people is unprofessional. A real boss doesn't behave like that. I won't be going back, and I'll save my money for real, respectful professionals.

13/02/2026: Disappointed. The pizzas are good, but since the change of ownership, pizza has gone to his head. Being treated like lepers in front of everyone for a drink we bought at Leclerc (since he sells them for twice the price) is unacceptable. It's always about the bottom line. People often forget that a loyal customer brings in much more than a passing one, all for a drink, lol. This isn't a 3-star restaurant, it's just a pizzeria, nothing to get so worked up about! And yes, times are tough, and that's when you see people's true colors. We won't be going back. There are so many other options. We miss the old owner; he was much cooler. That's all, David. 27/03/2026: Before writing this review, I sent an email (no reply) and a message through the website (no reply). Here is the message I sent: Hello, I placed an order for over €30 which I picked up yesterday evening at 7:50 PM on March 9th. Unfortunately, the fish was spoiled, the sushi was sharp, the salad was wilted—in short, the entire order was inedible. This ruined our evening, and we had to improvise another meal. I request a refund or some form of compensation. If we cannot find an amicable solution, I will have to leave reviews on Google and TripAdvisor and inform the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control). Thank you for your understanding and prompt reply. ---- My partner suffered from food poisoning the next day—so, for me, never again, and I will inform my friends and neighbors.

27/01/2026: I received a very warm welcome and ordered the lunch menu with skewers and California rolls. The fish portion was noticeably more generous than other sushi I've tried. The miso soup was delicate and mild, and the cabbage salad was perfectly seasoned. The skewers are definitely worth the trip.

10/04/2026: I sometimes come to your establishments; the breads are varied and the pastries delicious, but the term "pain au chocolat" instead of "chocolatine" here in Albi! That's unacceptable 🙄!

22/03/2026: I stopped by this Saturday, March 21st, around 12:30 PM: only one cashier to handle about ten customers… seriously? The result: a wait, of course. Luckily, the cashier was friendly and professional, because he was clearly doing the work of several people single-handedly. The sandwich was good, no complaints there. But perhaps it's time to adjust the number of cashiers during peak hours, don't you think?
