27/05/2024: A good discovery, I liked the concept, impeccable welcome... my usual every time I go to a restaurant, it's to eat good, well-rare meat and I was served, 800g which I bled well …in short, we wanted to go back on Saturday evening but it was closed with the only information “closed until further notice” hoping that it would not be a permanent closure

14/02/2024: Nous allions chez John très régulièrement jusqu'au 14 fevrier 2023 où nous avons été très déçu de la prestation. Repas de st-valentin à tarif unique pour tout le monde avec repas identique....sauf pour nous. Chaque participant a pu commencé le repas avec des amuse-gueule que nous n'avons attendu patiemment et qui n'ont jamais été servi à notre table. Etant un peu déçu nous avons posé la question "pourquoi n'avons nous pas les amuses gueules?" On nous a repondu que nous avions pris 2 verres de vin en guise d'apero. ???? 2 verres de vin à 8€ pieces semblent donc moins valorisant que des apéritifs (comme un ricard à 3€ par exemple). Suite à cela nous ne sommes plus retourné dans ce restaurant. Nous n'avons pas compris. Peut-être sommes nous passés pour des "pauvres" ou je ne sais quoi. Et c'est bien dommage.

20/09/2024: At first glance, we are under the spell of the facade. We are greeted by a charming and smiling young woman. She takes great care and knows her products very well. The setting is conducive to romance, ideal for a romantic dinner. The dishes are prepared by a cook who loves what he does. Really a very good address.

11/08/2024: Très accueillant et agréable, nous venons régulièrement et le service est toujours impeccable. Plats savoureux et copieux . Salle climatisée .

26/04/2024: Meal today menu at 22.50. Chicken salad starter, the chicken is frozen. Middle beef and onion, same frozen. Well for the quality/price ratio it's not worth it. The sesame nougat dessert too dry. I had a 2 scoop ice cream for 4.50. I am disappointed with this meal. I came a few years ago and it was better.

18/09/2024: C’est à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de ma maman 77 ans que nous nous sommes rendu à la Taverne pour dîner ! Très bon accueil, service impeccable, les plats étaient copieux et vraiment délicieux !! Même mon fils de 9 ans s’est régalé. La déco est sobre et chic. Un très bel endroit et une belle expérience, à refaire !

03/09/2024: Un excellent déjeuner ou ris d'agneau et bar ont été très bien accordés par un excellent chef qui s'est révélé tout aussi bon pâtissier quand nous avons abordé les desserts. Pourquoi alors 4/5 ! A cause du cadre et du décor, tout simplement, trop sévère trop gris noir, murs trop nus, et déco de table référence Noël trop anachronique. Nous avons eu du plaisir à voir de la couleur dans nos assiettes. Nous apprécierons quand même de revenir goûter aux propositions plus complètes des menus dégustations car le chef a réellement beaucoup de talent et de talents

26/05/2024: Seules, les amuse-bouche étaient bonnes mais plutôt ordinaires. Pour le reste, c'était du niveau d'un repas ouvrier. Même un Routier fait mieux. Quant à l'omelette norvégienne finale : une honte.

23/05/2024: Very good menu, a small remark, there are not enough vegetables to accompany the dish, but they are fresh products, very good. Very warm welcome, very kind, smiling. You have to go there, it's very pleasant. I can't put the atmosphere at the top, it's just a restaurant. It's normal.

23/08/2024: Superbe découverte ! Personnel charmant, cuisine raffinée et bien dosée en terme de quantité. Tout était très bon. Le patio sous la glycine centenaire est très agréable. A recommander sans hésitation !

15/08/2024: Nous sommes allés dîner au Lautrec avec confiance nous rappelant de bonnes expériences culinaires passées dans ce superbe cadre. Nous avons été déçus du service, très peu prévenant et stressé malgré les sourires affichés. Déçus également de la qualité et du dressage des plats. Bref un mauvais rapport qualité-accueil-prix.

08/07/2024: Highly recommended! They were super friendly and helpful! Although the rooms are old, everything is very clean. They have a very nice playground and swimming pool. Very nice views behind the hotel!

30/06/2024: Oh top !!! Malgrés une réservation tardive nous avons été recu chaleureusement, nous cassoulet étaient copieux et exquis. Je recommande fortement et encore merci pour cette chouette soirée.

02/09/2024: We spent 3 days in this establishment. The room, simple and comfortable, is good value for money. Our evenings spent on the terrace were very pleasant thanks to a warm welcome, quality service and classic dishes, certainly but very well executed and comforting as desired.

29/08/2024: 29-08-2024 please read & do not take the one star as an indicator it was the only way I could comment. Found La Taverne on Google maps. Cannot truly review went to the restaurant today for lunch. After reading the style of cooking a classic cuisine restaurant. Which is something you don’t see often these days. It all seems to be ‘Modern’. ( I’ve always wanted to learn classical French cuisine. Hey ho maybe in the next life I could be the next Carême / Escoffier ) I really wanted to go and try it Looked on google couldn’t find the website.… Sure it said open for lunch on Maps.. Got there for 12 & it was shut. Gutted

10/09/2024: For my second evening stopover in Albi as part of work I wanted to return to the Shamrock and once again I am not disappointed, we appreciate this beautiful shaded terrace, the welcome and the very pleasant service, and after having a drink I decides once again to have dinner because the atmosphere is so good, I will come back for sure, very good dishes and good music 👍
