13/09/2026: There are a lot of regulars here because once you've tried it, you keep coming back. The service is very pleasant, both from the owners and the staff. The prices are reasonable, and the food is good and well-presented. Oh, I almost forgot... the idiots who stray here once never come back. You should know that! The people here are intelligent (for the most part), polite, and friendly. Friday and Saturday nights are often noisy because the workers are relaxing, which is normal. If you don't like the weekend atmosphere, you could try the monastery... One small drawback: there are a lot of TV screens... but oh well. It's still very good!

We enjoyed our visit and will gladly return. I highly recommend Pomme de Pain Belle Épine for its welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of service. 😊

For two dinner menus, we were served a ridiculously small quarter of a container of sweet sauce, as if they thought we were idiots, or worse, as if it was a deliberate attempt to save money at our expense. And the quality was no better: the sushi had a suspicious, almost nauseating odor that clearly had nothing to do with fresh, daily-made products. It was hard not to wonder how long it had been sitting in a refrigerator. The worst part was when I called to report the problem. The person on the phone was awful, curt, and completely lacking in empathy and professionalism. No apologies, no willingness to resolve anything, just pure contempt for the paying customer. You can tell this is a team that couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against going there: avoid it and go somewhere else; your money and your health deserve better.

13/05/2026: This unassuming restaurant will delight couscous lovers! The welcome and service are impeccable. The menu is simple: a few tagines and, above all, couscous! The prices are very reasonable: expect to pay between €15 and €20 for couscous. But most importantly, the quality is excellent! The portions are also generous, and the waiter kindly offers extra semolina. It's not always busy, so it's recommended to book ahead as it's sometimes full. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant to all couscous lovers!

Every dish we ate ranged from mediocre to truly awful (the burger was very dry, the bread was mass-produced, and there was no sauce; the croque monsieur was inedible, which we told the waiter). And to top it all off, the service was extremely slow and inefficient. After such a disastrous lunch, perhaps it would have been wise to avoid asking us four times who was going to pay for our friend who had already left (there were still 10 of us at the table; it was Sunday lunchtime, not a Saturday night at 1 a.m.).

04/10/2026: Honestly, avoid this place. We spent three hours in this restaurant because there were only two of them working there and they were far too overwhelmed. We were forgotten several times, and the servers, who were also very unpleasant even when taking our order, offered no apologies. They made two separate trips to bring back two carafes of water, and we waited 25 minutes for our desserts even though they were in the fridge right behind him… in short, they were completely inefficient. Furthermore, the food wasn't good at all. It's a real shame because the place itself is nice.
