22/01/2025: I am extremely disappointed by my last visit to La Criée. The cooking was okay, until I received a mash literally drowned in excess dripping butter. The puree was simply inedible: I had to empty kilos of butter into a container to try to save the dish. When I reported the problem to a waitress (who appeared to be a manager), her reaction was as shocking as it was inappropriate. In a contemptuous tone, she replied: “Well, you just have to mix the puree”, as if I was stupid. I then politely asked for a new puree without this butter bath. Finally, she left with my purees without offering a replacement, and I had to finish my meal without any accompaniment. Service-wise, it’s a disaster. Between a waitress who doesn't understand anything and another who talks to you like a dog, the experience is simply unacceptable. This complete lack of respect, especially from this “manager,” is unacceptable. Ironically, in the end, she seemed to have realized that she had done wrong, but the damage had already been done. I came regularly, but with this new team, it’s over for me. Too bad, because La Criée was a place that I appreciated.

09/09/2024: The restaurant of my childhood. And I always find the same typically Italian friendly atmosphere. We are very well received and served there. The dishes are copious and tasty, the menu is original and the desserts are to die for. Grazzie!

03/09/2024: We like to come there for lunch with colleagues. Nice Italian-oriented dishes from Milanese escalope pizza pasta... Home-made tartare, in short a sufficient choice to satisfy everyone. As for wine, we find Italian classics which work very well. The service is friendly and pleasant and so are the managers!

13/09/2024: Good morning, We got married on August 24. The party took place in a garden so we chose a package with cocktails, cold buffet, cheese and desserts. It was impeccable from start to finish: delivery on time, beautiful presentation, sufficient quantity and tasty food. We were delighted. In addition Eva is attentive and proactive. 12/07/2024: Great find. We are always surprised to find such nice restaurants in Vitry sur Seine. The dishes are careful, tasty and, to be pragmatic, good value for money. The service is of the same order. The waitress is very welcoming, smiling and helpful. An address to keep in mind for your next little family outing.
