13/07/2024: While passing through Uxegney, we discovered a "real pizza chef" who not only makes excellent pizzas with good fresh produce but who also loves his job, it shows! Very friendly welcome, pleasant little terrace: we highly recommend!
The 2 Dijon people cycling on the blue lane. We took the Vosgienne and the Lebanese but there were plenty of others we wanted too :)

18/09/2024: Belle auberge, très bien accueillis par l’ancien propriétaire.
La cuisine est très bonne, comme chez nos grands-mères, avec des produits et des plats fait maison.
Cette auberge vaut le détour !
Je recommande vivement !

30/08/2024: We tried the restaurant for the first time: and we will return! A pleasant and warm setting. We took the Mansarde menu and everything was excellent, well-stocked snails, a sweet and hearty foie gras, an excellent scallop risotto with lime, a very tasty crème brûlée 🍮, and an ice cream sundae worthy of the name. We had a great time, even the cocktails were well prepared. The service was fast and quality.

Nous étions deux avec un petit chien, pour un soir en semaine il y avait beaucoup de monde dans le restaurant.
Le serveur qui nous a suivi toute la soirée a été au petit soin pour notre chien et super sympathique avec quelques conseils pour découvrir les produits de la région.
Nous avons pris un kir mirabelle, kir myrtille , une choucroute et des Fleischnakas. Une tarte à la myrtille en dessert. Tout était délicieux , beaucoup de saveur .
On a été conquises ! Et la décoration du restaurant est très chouette . Un 5/5
27/08/2024: Un accueil sympa un tres bon service et une cuisine classique mais excellente. Je recommande le jarret de porc un régal mais il faut un sérieux coup de fourchette pour terminer son assiette.

Friendly service, delicious and neatly prepared dishes.
Not cheap, but certainly not exclusively expensive for what is offered.

24/08/2024: Very cute place with a pleasant terrace, unfortunately, the welcome leaves something to be desired. We arrived with 25 people for a drink in the afternoon. Being very polite and smiling, we asked if it was possible to have a drink. The manager said yes, asking us to spread out on the terrace. When we asked to move two tables closer together to be together, we received a categorical refusal: "We don't move tables just to have a drink." Slightly surprising reaction...
Without making waves, we got seated, but a few of our late arriving group unknowingly moved a table. They were scolded like children and asked to sit elsewhere, away from the rest of the group. We didn't really like this way of doing things, but the waitress was very nice, so we decided to ignore it and still had a pleasant time.
However, when it was time to pay, everyone took their drink and, not having cash after a hike, we paid by card. Once again, we were lectured because "it's nonsense to pay 5€ with a card", in an unpleasant tone. We were also told that it would have been better to resolve everything at once. It would have been wiser to tell us this from the start and in a more courteous manner.
In summary, it is a very nice place, but the friendliness of the staff, especially the manager, is very limited. Damage...
