26/08/2024: Quiet accommodation to enjoy nature, and a few minutes by car from Gérardmer. We were able to enjoy a spacious and comfortable room for 2 nights (suitable for PMR) which also allowed us to enjoy the song of the small stream below. Hearty breakfast with delicious homemade jams. The dishes offered in the restaurant are varied and delicious.

31/08/2024: Discovered during our stay in Gérardmer. A wonderful welcome upon our arrival. A very clean and well insulated room. The breakfasts with regional products are perfect, Munster raw ham etc... Special mention to the breakfast manager with whom we had time to chat and have a good time in room 207.

18/05/2024: We came 2 years ago and had dinner at the restaurant, warm, generous and delicious. Perfect mention for cheese specialties! We were accommodated in one of the rooms above the restaurant, stylish, cozy and tastefully decorated. First, we were surprised by the price increase (€65 2 years ago, €95 today) With inflation and the installation of a SPA in the meantime, we weren't really shocked... But this time we were accommodated in the "annex", an adjoining building. A disaster! Small, old-fashioned, cold, curtains and bathroom from another time, damaged and scratched wooden bed. We were as disappointed this time as we were delighted the time before. The price is, therefore, and for the rooms in the annex, not justified.

09/09/2024: After a long travel and many closed restaurants we finally found Ferme Auberge des grandes. Almost all the tables were full, but we got a table outside next to the adorable horse and donkey. The owner is very kind and even with our terrible French we managed to communicate together well. The food is all very fresh and homemade, and the portion are huge! We were too full after the first course, but got to take the main course and dessert home! Absolutely delicious, and very kind service

07/09/2024: We highly recommend. Very good service, and the meal is excellent! It was our first time, but it won't be our last.

16/09/2024: The room is not very big, but enough for 1 or 2 days, however it is very poorly soundproofed, when the neighbor comes in, we had the impression that he was coming home!! Note that the toilet is not towards the shower and the sink, but separate, not very practical. For the price, it's acceptable.
