12/12/2025: We came for lunch today with my dad and had a lovely time at L’Assiette du Coq à l’Âne.
The welcome, the decor, the service, the atmosphere, and the food: everything was done to ensure our satisfaction.
We thank the entire team.
08/12/2025: A real gem! While passing through Gérardmer, we were incredibly lucky to have lunch there as a family of four (without a reservation); everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is superb, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the welcome was amazing: smiles, attentiveness, kindness—you immediately feel at ease.
And what can we say about the food? Pure bliss! Every dish was flavorful and perfectly executed; we enjoyed every bite from start to finish.
From appetizer to dessert, the quality is truly exceptional: the snails are outstanding (and that's coming from someone from Burgundy!), the Savoyard fondue is good, the burger was delicious, and the desserts were exquisite (floating islands, chocolate shells, gourmet coffee); we also appreciated the wines that were recommended to us.
Honestly, not a single flaw: go without hesitation, we recommend it 200%!

A rare meat that arrives well cooked (they changed it for us), 45 minutes before we take our order even though it is very quiet, not really any real shade on the terrace, the card that must be requested and cutlery too. As for the card... A cloth of stained leaves...
31/08/2024: We had a good time in this restaurant. The staff is smiling and full of humor, it's a pleasure. The server was friendly from the beginning to the end of our meal and with all the tables even though there were people. We are delighted with our meals, we ate very well (reblochonnade and flam munster). We ate in a good atmosphere. We recommend this establishment.

01/09/2024: Friendly restaurant, the welcome was warm and we were won over by the diverse and varied choices that the restaurant offers, because contrary to what some of the nasty comments may be, there is a lot of choice, and for all tastes Above all !
So those who criticize a restaurant that I find extraordinary in my opinion, might as well stay at home eating pasta or go to McDonald's and eat much worse than at Lotus Royal!

Very poorly organized service, no kindness with evil and insistent looks. The managers smoke in the restaurant, the food is very poor
I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. To flee!!!
09/11/2024: Honestly, nothing to say having eaten there several times, impeccable staff, very helpful, top-notch cuisine, we enjoy it every time, frankly, I recommend this pizzeria restaurant. Well done to the whole team.

I go to McDonald's to eat a "280" for its special bread ✨ I always order at the drive-thru and I have never been disappointed with my orders.
But this evening PUT A HAMB BREAD ON TOP and everything else follow the recipe????!
In this case, the mana, DISABLED THE 280!!!! Don't put them on sale!!! I will understand a lot and I will have a BIG TASTY instead!!!
28/08/2024: Nothing to complain about the service and the quality of the food except that McDonald's advertises large hamburgers while when they are served to you you wonder if someone has not sat on them. But this is valid in all the restaurants of this brand.

I was able to go eat there once, it wasn't worth the detour for the tapas, it's really very simplified, anyone is able to reproduce them expensively either for the slightest bit, quite expensive for what we are served.
I won't come back

The smoked salmon roll with cream cheese was neither smoked nor topped with cream cheese, but rather raw salmon and goat cheese.
The breaded Burrata was not a burrata but a mozzarella which was still cold.
Overall was still good, but somewhat disappointed with this experience

09/12/2024: Horribly long service!!! 2 hours without dessert for unlimited mussels. Ah, that’s for sure, you need willpower to hope to have a second casserole and what’s more, they arrive cold as do the fries.
A burger ordered only with cheddar and which arrives with all the other toppings.
A hard-working waitress (who told us that the cook had sent her away when she asked where our order was) while there were 5 of them... the others disappeared after 30 minutes. It's not the first time we've come, but it will be the last.
Restaurant to avoid unless you have time to waste.
09/12/2024: The plate of salmon tartare was a little light for a 23 euro menu.

04/09/2024: Parking on muddy ground, buffet at the back of the room therefore restrictive.
Salad not labeled, without much flavor and Cocktail too sweet.
It's also a shame to pay almost €16 for an all-you-can-eat buffet without drinks because you have to add an extra €4 if you want to drink.
I didn't find what I was looking for in this restaurant and I quickly left, with an empty stomach.

The vegetarian pizza had no taste and the vegetables were raw... for dessert, an ice cream sundae, a little disappointed, paid 8th for 3 mini balls and just a little coulis, no whipped cream and not even a biscuit, nothing. To tell me that the whipped cream is 1€ extra.
We won't come back.

Who I think should for the remaining years possibly think about a change of profession to no longer be in contact with customers.
The other servers are professional and smiling, they do their best.
A family moment with children which turns into a fiasco thanks to this gentleman, I do not thank you and above all I do not recommend this place
