05/07/2026: Today I went to eat at the McDonald's in Joigny and I highly recommend it! Since the arrival of the new franchise, the restaurant has become even more enjoyable. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The service is quick, the orders are well-prepared, and the restaurant is clean. The atmosphere is friendly, and you can feel a genuine commitment to providing excellent service. Thank you to the entire Joigny team for your outstanding work every day! See you soon! 😁

29/06/2026: Overall, the meal was good, but the young man, not very tall, dressed in a sweater and cap, was very... (Me, I...). I don't think his attire is appropriate for a restaurant. He's probably a manager, since everyone else is dressed in McDonald's uniforms. In any case, if he really is a manager or something, he really needs to come down to earth.

29/06/2026: The food was good, we ate well. The dishes were fresh and made daily. The desserts were not. Unfortunately, due to the heat, there were few drinks and ice creams available. However, this wasn't factored into the rating, as it's one of those things that happens when you're dining live. It would have been helpful to inform customers about unavailable dishes, drinks, or desserts before seating them. As for the atmosphere, it wasn't professional. Hearing the staff say things like, "Oh, people wake up at 1 p.m. to come and eat, we could have finished earlier..." was unpleasant and, again, unprofessional!

24/09/2025: Excellent little pizzeria, homemade dough that rises well, fresh ingredients cooked freshly, it was delicious! Fast service, the man is very kind and helpful. For only €9 you can enjoy an excellent pizza, I really recommend it! There's even parking across the street. Be careful, Google still has old photos of couscous, etc.; today it's just a pizzeria.

24/04/2026: We stopped by today, April 24th, at 12:15 PM for some treats for a family afternoon snack. I wanted to share my experience because we were particularly… shocked, that's the word!, by the reception we received. The waitress who worked that day was not at all friendly. She sighed at every request; her attitude was clearly disrespectful. Not a smile… We're in a business that expects a minimum of… kindness… We are very disappointed! We will not be returning.

10/04/2026: Pastries were fine, sandwiches were fine. But the saleswoman, named M… she was awful. I don't understand what she's doing there. She makes comments in front of the customers, without any shame.

17/04/2026: I ordered the takeaway sandwich, and it was excellent! The meat was very good and well-seasoned, and the sauce was excellent too! The sandwiches are made fresh right in front of you, and the staff is very welcoming! It's a really great Lebanese takeaway!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day meal here to try dining in. The welcome was quite friendly and inviting, but from the very first moment we were seated by the window, and with only two heaters for the main room, we quickly realized we were going to be cold, and that's exactly what happened. The scallop salad and the assortment of steamed baskets were truly uninteresting. There was only one scallop in a salad swimming in oil, and the steamed baskets were very thick and unseasoned. The main course, however, was worthwhile: the grilled seafood, cashew chicken with Cantonese rice, and stir-fried noodles were truly excellent. For dessert, however, another big disappointment: the steamed coconut ball was tasteless and had very little filling. The ice cream sundae was generous, though, to compensate. The service was a bit slow, but we had a pleasant time. The price, however, remains high considering the quality of the food. Disappointed with the dine-in option and we recommend sticking to takeaway for occasional emergencies.

13/05/2026: A few years ago, this was a truly wonderful place. Today, it's clear they've lost their way and don't know how to retain their clientele. There's no consistency in their menu. I think they're completely off track with their culinary approach. Go back to good, healthy, classic food. It's a shame they don't restore the waterwheels.

11/05/2026: Excellent cuisine featuring local produce in a stunning garden and river setting. Good wine selection, particularly Chablis. A very good lunch.

19/03/2026: Hello, I spent one night in this hotel and I would avoid it. The reception was friendly, but the room was appalling: completely unsanitary, with moldy windows, mildew, and other issues, stains on the carpet, a cracked bathroom ceiling, mediocre cleaning, and the bed linens weren't hypoallergenic. It was for a business trip, so one night is acceptable, but I find it expensive for what it is, considering the renovations they need to do.

09/03/2026: Overall, a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (at least those on the 5th floor) thanks to the terrace, and the breakfasts are plentiful and varied. However, if you're in room 500 like me, bring earplugs because the elevator machinery is right on the other side of the bathroom. Get ready for a lot of noise every time someone operates the elevator.

28/04/2026: It has to be said that this picturesque place, Vézelay, is a bit run-down. The state of the streets isn't great! Many of the houses and shops are unoccupied and in a state of disrepair! You can tell you're in the last century, the era of Vidocq or stagecoaches! I visited this little town during a trip to Auxerre, so I stopped in Vézelay, which had been a long-held plan. The basilica was under renovation at the time! I didn't visit the inn, so I can't comment on that.

20/04/2026: I didn't use the hotel's services, just the restaurant. I enjoyed the food (including the vegetarian options), however, two shortcomings in the service at our table concerned me. The staff remained courteous and apologized, but offered no compensation.

17/06/2026: Mexican/Latino friends, if you come, PLEASE don't order the honey mustard. They put wasabi in it without telling you, and it's incredibly spicy. If it weren't for that, it would have been amazing. Come anyway, but be careful with the honey mustard!

05/04/2026: The staff can communicate in Chinese, are patient, and provide excellent service. They mainly sell poke salads, and vegetarian options are available. We ordered two large poke salads and two large drinks for a total of 44.8 euros.

06/02/2026: The food is edible, but I noticed they don't wear gloves in the kitchen, and the service is deplorable. I had to wait an hour for what I paid for, and I only ordered four cheese rings.

04/02/2026: More sauce than meat... We ordered an XL and ended up with the same amount of meat as a medium.
