03/11/2024: J'ai réservé et choisi spécialement ce restaurant via l'application the fork afin de payer avec mon solde de carte cadeau. Au préalable, j'ai vérifié que ce restaurant acceptait le paiement par carte étant labellisé "fork pay". Nous nous sommes bien laché sur nos choix car nous payons en carte cadeau, mais arrivé a l'addition, le patron nous refuse le paiement par ce moyen. Le propriétaire de cet établissement accepte la clientèle que lui amène l'appli mais refuse son engagement vis a vis d'elle. Il est de fork pay et se doit d'accepter que l'on paie par ce moyen. Nous ne serions jamais venu dans son établissement sans cela. Le gérant est malhonnête car il prend la clientèle the fork, et attend la fin du repas pour dire qu'il n'accepte pas le paiement par l'appli. Un moment qui aurait dû être joyeux, paisible, et plein de plaisir a été gâché par cette mauvaise expérience, et nous a vraiment gâché la journée car nous nous sommes pris bien la tête a la suite de cette malheureuse expérience frustrante, qui a annulé tout notre plaisir. Nous respectons les artisans, notre engagement de réservation, nos devoirs de client, et nous n'avons l'impression que vous n'avez pas pensé à votre argent, et pas une seconde à nous pour que ce moment soit pleinement satisfaisant.

17/08/2024: After wandering through the picturesque town of Tonerre, I decided to stop here after seeing an exciting set menu on a chalk board for €24 per person. The meal started out very well: the speedy service ensured I had my drink within 5 minutes and my starter within 10. This is where the real highlight of Le P’tit Gourmand was - the food. To start I had a delicious and exciting quiche de jambon et fromage with the crispiest and most buttery pastry you’ve ever tasted. What made this quiche unique was the perfect balance between the tanginess of the goat’s cheese and the saltiness of the ham. Following that I chose the filet mignon with potatoes and carrot purée. For me, this was the highlight of the meal: the filet mignon practically melted in my mouth and the balance between the earthiness of the carrot purée and potatoes with the richness of the filet mignon was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately it was at this point that the dining experience went downhill and the waiters seemed to lose interest in my table. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes before we asked for our table to be cleared away and for the dessert menu, despite several waiters walking past our table and seeing we were finished. For pudding, I had a tarte aux poires with vanilla ice cream, which was delicious and not too sweet which I appreciated. However, it was not enough to make up for the frankly poor service that I received. It’s really a pity because had the service lived up to the quality of food, this restaurant would really be something quite special and exciting. Instead, it feels like they are striving for something but can’t quite be bothered to get there. 3 stars.

An evening on the boat, simply fantastic, A beer and a white wine, both great The beer was delicious, cold and pure, With the white wine it could be a second one. The mood is relaxed, the atmosphere is cheerful, You're welcome to stay a little longer here! A feast for all senses, You really feel at home here. Full and content, night and day, A place you would like to return to. 🌊🍷🍺

29/06/2024: Petit arrêt impromptu sur Auxerre et coup de chance, nous avons pu avoir une place. Accueil et service impeccable, entrée, plat et dessert étaient subtils et délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le tartare aux saveurs estivales et l'île flottante sur sa soupe aux fruits rouges.
