23/06/2026: What was bound to happen happened...well done to "Petit futé" as if...very reliable reference 😅 this establishment has just been administratively closed due to cockroaches and serious breaches of food hygiene standards.

14/05/2026: I stumbled upon this lovely place. I ordered a burger! Wow! Absolutely fantastic! A must-visit!

30/03/2026: I was quite surprised to walk into this bar and find a huge Confederate flag. The "Texas" decor in a bar in Burgundy is one thing, but not the flag. In case you didn't know, it's the flag of the Confederate States during the American Civil War, states that united the slave-owning, white supremacist South. We find it rather problematic to display that. Otherwise, the service was fine.

14/05/2026: I bought 3 American chicken pizzas, very good, a delight! The delivery driver was friendly and kind, the best delivery driver I've ever seen at Aladin Pizza.

18/02/2026: On Thursday, February 6th, 2026, I ordered a chicken zap and at 4:30 am I became incredibly sick, vomiting terribly. I couldn't keep anything down, and as soon as I ate something else, it went away. I think it was food poisoning, that's all. It lasted until Saturday night. 😡😡😡😡

21/03/2026: A pleasant surprise! Location right at the foot of the cathedral. They just need to update the menu and give the facade a fresh coat of paint. 😃

19/03/2026: It's a shame that with such a beautiful location the food leaves something to be desired. Poor quality salmon. Vegetables swimming in oil. And a stale mille-feuille.

14/05/2026: Passing through Poland, I stopped for a pizza which was very good. The service was quick and the owner very welcoming. I recommend this establishment.

22/01/2026: I've never seen such a terrible kebab! For delivery, the empty kebab came with only one sauce for the fries, the fries weren't salted, and there was no napkin! The kebab had no taste at all! So we called them, and they told us that the sauces were only included per sandwich, otherwise their restaurant wouldn't make any money if they gave extra sauces! And also, no napkin! Napkins are only available for dine-in! They took our sandwiches back, only to switch us from a kebab to Vrap Tenders! We had to pay an extra €2! And the tenders were rubbery, so I definitely don't recommend this terrible restaurant! The only good thing was my can of Coke, darling! Honestly, have some respect for the people who buy your food because it can be dangerous to give us such disgusting food!

08/01/2026: The worst snack of my life, cold fries, no sauce, honestly, it was a disaster. He's lucky he can't give it zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

23/03/2026: I approached the waitress with a promotional coupon from the French National Lottery (FDJ), but she flatly refused to accept it. They treated me like an idiot, saying it was just a poster for the promotion. The promotion was accepted at another location (you just had to scan the QR code) which was on the coupon. I called the FDJ, and they confirmed it was a legitimate promotion. Then I called the establishment and got the same waitress who had refused the promotion. She was unpleasant, even though they were in the wrong, instead of offering a polite apology. Their lack of customer service is undeniable! Then, a simple glass of white wine cost €4—that's expensive! It wasn't Chablis, and I had clearly stated that it was. Anyway, I expect a response that will be favorable to them, since they are in the wrong.

14/02/2026: No all-you-can-eat buffet! The glasses are dirty and there are cobwebs everywhere under the chairs.

08/01/2026: I ate for €11.90 with the all-you-can-eat option. The food wasn't extraordinary; some dishes, like the rice, were good but nothing special, and I found the meats I tried tasteless. It wasn't disgusting, but it wasn't worth the price, especially considering the limited selection. There was no one there when I went, so the service was immediate and flawless. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, with background music and nice decor, even if the lighting was a bit dim. The hygiene was acceptable. Overall, it's a pretty good restaurant, but rather expensive for what it offers.

15/05/2026: A very pleasant welcome. A lovely, generous sharing platter. Unlimited calf's head. Personally, I found the sauce barely seasoned and a bit bland, but overall it was good. The fried small fish was excellent. My only complaint is the frozen and microwaved dessert – it was too ordinary. A homemade tarte tatin is so much better! I'll definitely go back; we had a great time.

11/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give less. Very disappointed. The mojito was awful, the whisky was dry and watery with ice cubes, three salad leaves cost €2, and the fried smelt was inedible. The service was too slow and unpleasant. The toilet was covered in graffiti. We waited 50 minutes for the bill and had to ask for it again. Apparently, we were bothering the few other customers. Group of 8

21/02/2026: A charming little corner of the Morvan region, where you'll meet friendly locals who are open and honest. The owner, remarkably honest, welcomes you to his grocery store and bar, which has retained its original character with a few unpretentious modern touches. It truly has the atmosphere of an old-fashioned bistro. Outstanding.

02/10/2025: An excellent meal and a very warm welcome! The dining room is pleasant and intimate, with limited seating. We recommend La Barboulotte and will be happy to return! :)

04/07/2026: Shameful! Arrived at 7 PM, it's 9:10 PM and still no service. Avoid at all costs!

20/06/2026: I'm giving it two stars because we enjoy meeting there. The terrace by the canal is lovely! Unfortunately, in Tonnerre and the surrounding area, it's very difficult to find a good restaurant, and this one is no exception. It's cafeteria food, nothing to write home about, but it's acceptable. However, the service is appalling. A waitress who was constantly exhausted, sighing, rolling her eyes, etc. And when you go to pay and find yourself face to face with the owner (I assume?), it's the icing on the cake. If this job bothers you that much, you should consider a career change :)
