05/05/2026: No service, we had to get our drinks from the bar...😅 Most of the photos are optional... Much less choice than advertised... It was okay, we ate well, but disappointed by the limited selection.

14/11/2025: The kebab was good, affordable, and of pretty good quality, and the restaurant was very clean. It's a shame you can't use credit cards below a certain amount (you can't pay by card for a simple kebab meal).

30/01/2026: HORRIBLE… The Coke tasted like dish soap, with weird stuff in the glass that I don't even want to know what it was, making you wonder if it wasn't actually a dish soap drink. The burgers were the same: a pickle soaked in dish soap, a dry and burnt bun—a truly disgusting result. As for cleanliness, let's not even go there. And to top it all off, burnt nuggets—like eating charcoal. The only positive point: the service was very friendly, no complaints there. I left with a stomach ache. For your own safety, I recommend you stay away.

14/04/2026: I had fond memories of my visit to Patapain, until I learned that the chain is linked to cruel practices inflicted on pigs. Knowing that sows are confined to cages where they can't turn around, and that piglets undergo tail docking, castration, or teeth filing, completely changes my perspective as a customer. Columbus Café & Co and Pret A Manger have made commitments: when will Patapain follow suit?

01/04/2026: Early morning experience at 7:30 am at the checkout… let’s just say the coffee was hot, but the welcome was less so 😅 Automated service with a string of “Here you are, and what else?” worthy of a well-programmed robot, but without the smile option activated. We understand that waking up is difficult (we’ve all been there), but a little smile would clearly be just as welcome as the coffee ☕ It’s a shame, because this is really not the usual image of Pat à Pain’s staff, who are generally much warmer.

01/05/2026: We ordered a Premier Cru Chablis that didn't taste like a Chablis at all. I regret not asking for details about its origin...

21/04/2026: A very pretty setting with a quirky, eclectic decor. The dish is simple. Well prepared. Dish of the day €14. A bit pricey. But good.

18/05/2026: The owner is as unbearable as her beer. Don't give your money to this hateful, frustrated woman. She kicked our hiking backpacks (which were in a corner against the wall and weren't blocking the way) to make us understand we had to leave, even though we were still drinking... But we don't know for sure; when we asked her if there was a problem, she didn't answer and just ignored us.

15/05/2026: We have rarely experienced anything like this; we had barely stepped inside and were immediately spoken to very rudely before we could even ask if a table was available, with the question that we had made a reservation and that everything was already full. After that, we were unequivocally shown the door and were not welcome.

03/05/2026: It was lovely to enjoy such generously topped open-faced sandwiches. Plus, the service was very pleasant.

18/02/2026: If you're looking for a friendly lunch spot with pleasant and always smiling service, don't miss this place! Excellent value for money. The owners, Sébastien and Virginie, are very attentive! The service is quick. A very good meal, especially the owner's homemade chocolate mousse! I recommend it 100%!

23/01/2026: I stopped because there was a McDonald's and that's what I wanted. The rest area is clean, and so is the store. I'm giving it 3.5 stars because there's one very annoying issue: in the women's restroom, the hygiene bins aren't secure. I found myself in a stall where the bin lid was open, which wasn't pleasant. I closed the lid, but more hygienic bins would be welcome. On the other hand, kudos for the coat/bag hook; you don't find them everywhere.

08/05/2026: A wonderful time spent at Le Grignotin restaurant! The food was generous, delicious, and prepared with care. The dishes were beautifully presented, the ingredients were high quality, and the warm atmosphere made me want to return. Special mention goes to the welcoming and attentive service. A perfect place to share a great meal with friends or family. I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: We were in Auxerre for three days and stumbled upon this superb brasserie for lunch… what a great find! I highly recommend this place: the owner is truly passionate and very friendly, and the waiter is smiling and genuinely pleasant. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious homemade burger and a to-die-for grilled chicken salad 🤤 A little tip: be sure to book ahead, as tables fill up very quickly! A well-deserved 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

13/04/2026: Having frequented this type of restaurant for work, it's a real shame that the restaurant doesn't live up to the hotel's standards. The restaurant business is a true profession requiring skill and knowledge, which this restaurant clearly lacks. It's not enough to boast about having fresh produce (which I doubt); you have to know how to serve and cook it properly. This establishment should be avoided.

07/05/2026: I've been coming to La Grillade regularly for three years now, and it's always a real pleasure. The restaurant is lovely, the welcome is warm, and the servers are truly attentive. The food is excellent, the wok service is a real bonus, and the atmosphere is friendly whether you come with family, friends, alone, or even for a lunch break at work. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently high. Honestly, it's worth the trip. I highly recommend it!
