08/06/2026: Looking for a quick place to eat while preparing for a canal cruise from Migennes to Auxerre. Just across the street is an unassuming corner restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere and wine! Did not expect such a great meal with wife and I getting chèvre and italiene salads. The aromas in the dining area were hard to resist, especially the deserts! Will be going back there tomorrow for dinner and looking forward to the meals. Do not miss this when you are in Migennes…really.

08/08/2026: Every visit to La Madeleine is a truly exceptional experience. And once again, last night, we had an absolutely perfect evening. We are never disappointed; quite the opposite: each meal is a new discovery, a true culinary journey where the flavors, textures, and creativity of the chef are expressed with remarkable precision. The setting is absolutely magnificent, elegant without being intimidating, and one immediately feels at ease. The atmosphere is warm, the service is impeccable, and the entire team takes care of its guests with genuine attention. The ingredients are of exceptional quality, perfectly showcased by culinary work that is as precise as it is refined. As for the wine selection, it is always perfectly chosen and complements this experience wonderfully. What also makes this restaurant unique is the chef's presence in the dining room. Seeing him take the time to chat with each of his guests is a rare and particularly appreciated touch. These moments of sharing add a human dimension that makes the experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to Gabriel and Thomas, without whom, it must be said, the experience wouldn't have been quite the same. Their professionalism is remarkable, but what truly sets them apart is their ability to perfectly blend the seriousness and exacting standards of a Michelin-starred restaurant with genuine relaxation and conviviality. You feel incredibly welcome, perfectly taken care of, and completely at ease, without ever losing the prestige and elegance of the establishment. It's a balance that isn't so easy to achieve, and one they master wonderfully. La Madeleine is much more than a Michelin-starred restaurant: it's a gastronomic experience, but also a human one, that we always have the pleasure of returning to. 23/08/2026: I drove there because of the other positive reviews and also because it was the only pizzeria open on Sunday :-) The pizza melted in my mouth. The panna cotta and tiramisu were fantastic. I'll definitely be back.

19/08/2026: I've been a customer in Vermenton since it first opened, and after all these years, it's still just as amazing! 🍕 The pizzas have never changed: always delicious and high-quality. The menu, meanwhile, has constantly improved over the years, with always new things to discover. It's truly a pleasure to see that after so much time, the quality and expertise are still there. 19/02/2026: It's not just the shutters that are old; the dining room, kitchen, and toilets are too. It's like stepping back in time to the 1950s. We were a group of ten, completely alone in the room. If we hadn't come, there would have been zero customers. It was a Sunday lunchtime. The crepes are simple and tasty, but they arrive in dribs and drabs. And to top it all off, the bill was impossible to decipher, requiring us to pay for about twenty crepes or ice cream. We had to pay for an extra crepe to speed up the process. The staff were very nice, but I think they should find another line of work.
