26/11/2024: Excellent stay a few weeks ago. Everything was perfect from the welcome to the plate. The dishes are all more surprising than the others with their flavors and originalities. We spent three days half board. Excellent value for money. Everything is homemade. We will come back because we really fell in love with this hotel, its environment and the region. 06/11/2024: We have been stopping at this establishment for a few years now and there is nothing to complain about. The rooms are welcoming (tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets are available for a small snack). The quality of the dishes offered by Mr ROBBE is always of excellent quality and develops our taste pleasure. As for breakfast, it is grandiose (homemade cakes, brioches, pastries, different types of bread, homemade jam and yogurt without forgetting fresh fruit and orange juice). The room staff is very pleasant and friendly. Thank you for this admirable welcome.

23/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The Galettes Saint-Malo (seafood in a mustard sauce) and the subsequent Crêpes Suzette (flambéed with Grand Marnier) were absolutely delicious. They were brought directly to our table from the kitchen, and the flambéing was done right there. The owner and staff were very kind and friendly. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

16/12/2025: Since arriving in Toucy, I've been going to this wonderful restaurant. The people are very friendly, the food is delicious, and I highly recommend it.

20/11/2025: Hello, I'm a big fan of the calzone with parsley and garlic; I give it 5 stars. The other pizzas are average, not so much for taste, but rather for presentation. The ham and vegetables are cubed, a bit like frozen pizza. Furthermore, on their takeout loyalty card, whether you buy one pizza or ten, the waitress at the counter (a redhead) who isn't very friendly only stamps one box. In short, average expectations, but I'll definitely go back for their calzone.

09/09/2025: Establishment with a parking lot across the street (easy to park). Bistro cuisine, but the plates are generous, so you won't leave hungry. The waitresses are efficient and friendly. The prices are very competitive. A great place.

30/08/2025: Excellent carbonara. Very good service, nice decor, outdoor terrace. Fair price. Open for lunch only.

03/02/2026: Originally from a village near Lainsecq, we've been passing by L'Escale for years. This time, my husband and I decided to go in for lunch. The set menu was simply perfect. No complaints whatsoever regarding the welcome, the service, or the price. I highly recommend it.

17/10/2025: Very disappointed the price is too high considering the quality of the dishes prepared. I regret coming just like many people today we were a whole group more than half did not like some even asked for the dishes to be returned to the kitchen (inedible) I will never come back too bad although friends told me that the service was great with good dishes and well that was not the case today.. even the pizzas are bland without flavor at 13.50 the pizza they are at the level of a frozen pizza brand reference of Leclerc. Change the cook or close the restaurant it is better

18/12/2025: Excellent! Set menu €17, 12 minutes from the motorway exit in a charming little village. We're so glad we took the time to avoid a terrible, overpriced sandwich at a motorway service station.

09/12/2025: Very nice people, nice environment. This place really deserve a great rating. Stop by on the way to Paris and found this gem along the highway. Will surely be back if I am on the same route.

17/05/2025: One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The pasta and pizzas are excellent. The food presentation is also beautiful. The staff is mostly Italian; they are friendly, pleasant, and efficient. In short, we're big fans.

14/07/2024: We were well received, too bad there was no catering because the kitchen was under construction. Shower a little small and sink a little low.

14/07/2024: We stayed at the hotel, but were unable to enjoy the restaurant because it was under construction. The boss is very nice. The room was large, but the bathroom was too small: small shower, small sink and too low. Decent breakfast.

15/06/2025: Hey, it's Skin. The pierced nose. Who met Kubik? Great time at your place. We ate so well, the tartare was amazing. Very good wine. Very good dessert. Mom in the kitchen, Dad in the dining room. 😅 That's Grandpa saying, you're in perfect sync. We'll be back next week. We can't wait.

09/11/2025: Good evening, I also took the advice below, bought a Montagnarde and a Raclette from the vending machine and was just extremely disappointed, the bacon was too firm not to mention the pastry which I couldn't even cut with a knife, just extremely disappointed.

30/01/2026: The wait was astounding. They forgot some food, my order was forgotten, and the rest was just awful.

07/02/2026: The owner is very unpleasant. My aunt ordered a salad without [unspecified ingredient], but they put lettuce in anyway. The children's menu was mediocre, with products from Lidl. The ice cream was also from Lidl. The toilets were dirty. In short, don't go there; the wait was 45-50 minutes.

11/01/2026: Very mediocre. The decor is quite attractive, though. But the "waitress" (55-60 years old, blonde) was very unpleasant and bitter. Not at all customer-oriented. She won't make you forget the €15 you paid for frozen fries with no sauce and a burger with a mass-produced bun and mediocre toppings. It might have been forgivable thanks to the decor. But this woman should stop working at this restaurant… In short, there were four of us, and there will be four of us who won't be returning.

25/06/2025: As part of a business trip. An excellent discovery in the area. Superb food, exceptional welcome and customer service from Kunal and Romuald! I'll be back soon for an evening with my partner, whether it's a cabaret or magic night. The venue is well worth its 5 stars. Bravo to them and thank you for the welcome, as if I were a regular. I highly recommend it.

25/11/2025: All the bakery products are truly excellent: Swiss bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, they are the best in the region by far! Their baguettes are also excellent and very crispy.
