18/12/2025: Excellent! Set menu €17, 12 minutes from the motorway exit in a charming little village. We're so glad we took the time to avoid a terrible, overpriced sandwich at a motorway service station.

09/12/2025: Very nice people, nice environment. This place really deserve a great rating. Stop by on the way to Paris and found this gem along the highway. Will surely be back if I am on the same route.

19/02/2026: It's not just the shutters that are old; the dining room, kitchen, and toilets are too. It's like stepping back in time to the 1950s. We were a group of ten, completely alone in the room. If we hadn't come, there would have been zero customers. It was a Sunday lunchtime. The crepes are simple and tasty, but they arrive in dribs and drabs. And to top it all off, the bill was impossible to decipher, requiring us to pay for about twenty crepes or ice cream. We had to pay for an extra crepe to speed up the process. The staff were very nice, but I think they should find another line of work.

24/10/2025: After going there several times, I'm adding one star. It's true that the food is very simple, but that's kind of the point. There's no menu or drink list, so don't hesitate to ask if they make a certain drink, or if you don't like the dishes, ask for one that's not on the menu. It's a nice place when you don't necessarily want to cook, or when you want to eat quality food for a reasonable price. It's perfect for lunch with colleagues, for example. The menu is €16.50 per week, which is very affordable. The waitress is cheerful and friendly if you take the time to chat. They'll be cold to you if you're cold to them. The three dishes that come up often and that I think they do best are: 1. Flank steak 2. Burgers 3. Fillet of pollock Currently, for weekday starters, there's an all-you-can-eat (or almost all-you-can-eat) cold buffet with salads and charcuterie. The fries are very good and I think they're homemade, as are most of the desserts. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area :)

21/03/2026: During a hike and visit to Sens, we had lunch at Guy's. The food was excellent (the blanquette was delicious!), the rosé from Burgundy was lovely, and above all, the service was top-notch, all for a group of 25 people. A truly great place, well done!

03/02/2026: Originally from a village near Lainsecq, we've been passing by L'Escale for years. This time, my husband and I decided to go in for lunch. The set menu was simply perfect. No complaints whatsoever regarding the welcome, the service, or the price. I highly recommend it.

17/10/2025: Very disappointed the price is too high considering the quality of the dishes prepared. I regret coming just like many people today we were a whole group more than half did not like some even asked for the dishes to be returned to the kitchen (inedible) I will never come back too bad although friends told me that the service was great with good dishes and well that was not the case today.. even the pizzas are bland without flavor at 13.50 the pizza they are at the level of a frozen pizza brand reference of Leclerc. Change the cook or close the restaurant it is better
