22/10/2026: I'm not sure if it's legal to take back the raclette cheese that's already been eaten and offer it to other customers. We'll see what the health department thinks. Unpleasant staff. Sharing a raclette grill between four people because the waiter is too lazy isn't exactly ideal... this restaurant is truly awful.

09/10/2026: I find the welcome for walk-ins rather cold. Otherwise, the raclette is good, and the dishes served at other tables look appetizing. It's best to make a reservation; it gets busy. The best thing is to go and form your own opinion; personally, I'll go back to try the other dishes.

25/01/2026: We came as a group of seven to celebrate a birthday and received a pleasant and warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the aperitifs to the birthday cake. The dishes were generous and delicious, and the service was impeccable. A very good, friendly, and delicious restaurant.

25/08/2026: There were four of us, and we all enjoyed the food. The plates were beautifully presented, the flavors were delicious, the portions were generous, and the dishes were served piping hot. Just one small suggestion: to respect tradition, one or two potatoes with the calf's head would have made Mr. very happy 😅. The terrace was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend it; we will be back.

19/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and location of the hotel on the banks of the Cousin River. It's a true haven of peace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lovely walks in the surrounding area. It was a complete change of scenery. A big thank you also to your restaurant team: dinner was excellent! Finally, we loved the hotel's decor and the comfort of our room, especially the quality of the bedding, which allowed us to rest well. We plan to return!

19/04/2026: This is the second year in a row that we've been meeting up with friends at the mill. The welcome and service were very pleasant, as was the ambiance of the cozy lounge and the dining room, which was perfectly remodeled. The outdoor setting offers a beautiful countryside ambiance. The dinner was beautifully served and delicious. As for breakfast, it's worth the detour! The hotel aspect could be improved a little, especially in the communal areas, but honestly, this place will be a great place for a future stay.

The seats are comfortable, and the place is nice and friendly. Today we had the chicken-curry brioche sandwich and the superpoke mezze salad with pear and Perrier puff pastry tartlet, and two coffees—a real treat at a reasonable price. 02/10/2026: Having received a gift card, I decided to book three weeks in advance for four people. The day before our visit, on Thursday, I called the restaurant. A woman answered, and I clearly explained that I had booked for the following day, that I had a gift card, and that, of course, I would pay the extra charge at the end for my friends. Thirty minutes later, the owner called me back to say that we couldn't come to eat the next day after all, because he was the one cooking and his chef wasn't there. An hour later, I saw a post from the restaurant on social media: "Come discover our new menu tomorrow." 🤔 So I called the restaurant again, without giving my name, and booked again for four people. The response was: "Yes, of course!" Clearly, the gift card didn't seem to interest the owner... Not very professional or respectful towards customers. Especially since a group of friends, who had come a week earlier, had also told me they were very poorly treated by the manager during their meal at the same restaurant. I obviously won't comment on the meal since I didn't get to eat there, even though I had been to this establishment before. But one thing is certain: you won't be seeing us at your establishment again!

The owner is super friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which really contributes to the restaurant's great atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would gladly recommend it. We'll definitely return on our next trip to Lainsecq! 😊

Still, 20 minutes late... and finally, the bottle of Coke I regularly buy has an expiration date of 09/30/26... the order was placed on 09/25/26, they used up old stock, resulting in a lack of carbonation... other than that, everything is fine...
