16/06/2026: Excellent value for money, with several menu options at various price points. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. I was even able to bring my small dogs inside; we ate outside in a lovely spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

He listened to us, adapted to our needs, and quickly found solutions for us. He is very accommodating; you feel special and pampered by him. His team is fantastic, kind, and discreet. True professionals, the kind you rarely find, at a more than competitive price. We were delighted with his menu; everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. 24/10/2025: After going there several times, I'm adding one star. It's true that the food is very simple, but that's kind of the point. There's no menu or drink list, so don't hesitate to ask if they make a certain drink, or if you don't like the dishes, ask for one that's not on the menu. It's a nice place when you don't necessarily want to cook, or when you want to eat quality food for a reasonable price. It's perfect for lunch with colleagues, for example. The menu is €16.50 per week, which is very affordable. The waitress is cheerful and friendly if you take the time to chat. They'll be cold to you if you're cold to them. The three dishes that come up often and that I think they do best are: 1. Flank steak 2. Burgers 3. Fillet of pollock Currently, for weekday starters, there's an all-you-can-eat (or almost all-you-can-eat) cold buffet with salads and charcuterie. The fries are very good and I think they're homemade, as are most of the desserts. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area :)

18/08/2026: On our way back from the Abbey of La Pierre-qui-Vire, we stopped for lunch today and received a warm welcome. The main courses and desserts were excellent; a big thank you to the chef! Our waitress served us very well and with a smile! We will gladly return sometime!

15/08/2026: A small, unpretentious restaurant, as it describes itself, where we enjoyed an excellent steak, tender and perfectly rare, on the shaded terrace overlooking the village square. One small drawback: we really felt like we were bothering the owner, who didn't crack a smile once during the entire meal... Perhaps it was his gruff, "Tonton flingueur" persona? Or maybe it was because we were dining with a child? Who knows!

12/08/2026: The welcome on the phone and in person was friendly, the service discreet and efficient, the complete menu (starter + main course + cheese + dessert + coffee) for €25 was truly excellent, Thank you for this lunch break which we greatly appreciated :-)

20/08/2026: Fantastic evening last night at the American Grill. The burgers were generous and delicious, the owner and waiter were excellent. I'll definitely be back soon and highly recommend this establishment.
