30/09/2026: We stumbled upon the restaurant "Le Prali" by chance during an evening stroll through Sens and were more than pleasantly surprised and delighted! The soup as a starter had a pleasant spiciness, and the chicken skewers in the main course were grilled to perfection. We especially enjoyed the beef with five different spices. The interior is cozy yet modern, with warm colors, simple and not (as is often the case) "Asian kitsch," and the service was very friendly and attentive.

24/10/2026: An exceptional day from start to finish! We chose Restaurant du Canal to celebrate our mother's 70th birthday, booking the entire establishment for the occasion. And what can we say… Everything was absolutely perfect, without exception! 🎉 The setting is ideal for a private event: a beautiful dining room, a particularly pleasant terrace for cocktails, and plenty of space for children to play safely. As for the food, it was flawless! Delicious dishes, impeccable service, perfectly executed organization, and above all, a remarkably kind team. A huge thank you to Anthony, the owner, for his warm welcome, availability, and kindness, as well as to Caroline, the manager, who was fantastic throughout the entire planning process. And let's not forget the entire front-of-house and kitchen staff for their professionalism, smiles, and dedication! All our guests were delighted, not only with the meal but also with the venue, the service, and the atmosphere. We received nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback! If you're looking for a venue for a birthday, family celebration, or any other private event, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The private booking options are a real plus. My only regret is having walked past it so many times without stopping in before. The price is reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. 02/10/2026: Everything was absolutely wonderful. From the very first bite, the bread was incredibly delicious and paired beautifully with the Crémant. The starters were equally impressive. The escargots arrived piping hot, and the marinated herring had no unpleasant fishiness at all. It went perfectly with the boiled potatoes and the sauce. The terrine was also delicious, with the wonderful aroma and flavor of thyme coming through generously. For the main course, the duck breast became more flavorful with every bite and was a perfect match for the potato purée. The texture of the purée was especially interesting. I’m not sure whether it contained fish roe or something similar, but it had a delicate popping texture that I had never experienced before. The beef bourguignon was also wonderful and paired beautifully with the red wine. We were truly impressed by the wine, food, and cheese of this region. Everything gave us a real sense of the richness of the local cuisine. And finally, the service was exceptional:warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our meal. It was a truly memorable experience, and we enjoyed every part of it.
