23/07/2026: Had a delicious meal, welcoming service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

13/07/2026: Despite the crowds the day before Bastille Day, there wasn't too long a wait to be served. Everything is homemade, including the bread. It was perfect and very good value for money.

15/07/2026: We came for a World Cup match, booked online. On their Instagram they'd advertised a red, white, and blue cocktail… but when we got there: nothing at all 🤷‍♂️ Not a single mention. The service was complicated: there were only three of them for everyone, so we had a long wait between courses and drinks ⏳ Starter: deviled eggs… only one egg while other tables had one and a half 🤨 Not great. The frog legs were huge, but there were only four of them, and the meat was a bit small. Overall, it was okay, nothing special 🍽️ The atmosphere wasn't anything special. Thanks anyway to the waitress who was super nice 🙏 Regarding the match: we had to ask them to turn up the volume, and they didn't turn off the restaurant's music... so music + commentary = not great 😒 They advertise the match, but in the end, we felt we would have been better off going somewhere else. The food was decent enough, but nothing special, and the atmosphere was just okay. A shame 😕

04/05/2026: Passing through Cusset, we ordered the daily special. Veal chop, ratatouille, Norman apple tart, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream—very good! However, the veal chop was a bit overcooked, perhaps even reheated, and not very thick, which made it tough. The server was very good.

29/04/2026: Here you can enjoy excellent Salers or Aubrac beef, cooked to perfection and served with real fries and ratatouille. A very good selection of wines by the glass. A very warm welcome and excellent service. The price is quite reasonable for the quality. Terrace or indoor seating available.

A huge thank you to Marine, our head waitress, who was incredibly friendly and offered excellent advice for pregnant women and those with allergies. She truly made our visit even more enjoyable. 27/02/2026: Last-minute booking for an unexpected business trip about ten kilometers from the hotel. Very pleasantly surprised! Charming place, lovely room, excellent value for money. The owner is very welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating. And the restaurant: a gem! We ate (and drank) very well. The meal was delicious, from aperitif to dessert, beautifully presented, with very generous portions, all served quickly. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2025: A wonderful discovery, both for the location and the food and service. You can feel the passion in what they offer. We had a fantastic evening on August 14th on the terrace overlooking the garden. I highly recommend this establishment.
