22/09/2024: Came this Sunday September 22 for the first time and last time in this business. Poorly maintained and dirty places in the majority of spaces. Concerning the traders, the products are very expensive for a fairly poor quality, for example: melons at the end of their life at the entrance to the store, unripe avocados at €2 each, carre d'Aurillac at €22/ Kg (it's shameful) and we have doubts about the fish which had a very strong smell and was surely spoiled. We obviously do not recommend this place.

10/09/2024: Very beautiful setting, very large, good atmosphere, for food whatever, cold meats, cheese maker, butcher's shop, correct prices. On the other hand, fruits and vegetables in the middle of the season, for example French tomatoes, are overpriced, an aberration so I did without them and went elsewhere "as they say"

26/07/2024: Wednesday 24! ; What was my surprise when I approached the entrance to the store to ask for information and heard the security guard (in red) yell: I quote “I don’t care about the customers’ balls!” Loudly and giggling with I suppose friends and banging on walls and table edges. Well done ! I quickly gave up on the idea of ​​asking anything from this guy. It's a shame because I've always had a good image of fire guards.

21/09/2024: Very friendly welcome and service, with bowl for our dog. Fish of the day and small fry, delicious. All on a terrace on the banks of the Allier. Great!

12/09/2024: My visit to this restaurant left a lot to be desired. From the start the service was poor. Although we specified that all dishes would be shared, we were not even provided with extra plates, which was both inconvenient and inconvenient. We started with a salad, quite acceptable. However, the real problem came with the main courses. The meat and mussels were served at the same time, making the experience even more confusing as it was difficult to enjoy both dishes properly. The meat was, without a doubt, the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was so hard that it was almost impossible to chew, and it was completely tasteless. We had to add some sauce to give it some flavor which made us regret ordering it. As for the mussels, although the flavor was okay, they were extremely small, almost as if they were another variety, which reduced the quality of the dish. To top it off, most of the preparations were accompanied by cheese, which, although it may please some, in this case only served to mask the lack of quality, and was difficult to digest. Finally, the house red wine was just terrible. Of a quality comparable to that of a cooking wine, it was also served hot, which is unacceptable in a restaurant worthy of the name.

17/05/2024: Il serait plus honnête de préciser que l'happy hour concerne que les softs .et pourquoi noter sur l'affiche que l'abus d'alcool est dangereux ! Parlent ils des softs ??

Please, stop making pizzas with porcini mushrooms if you want to offer frozen products! Advice: Prioritize the quality of your products over the quantity of customers you accept

26/04/2026: The hotel is outdated and poorly maintained, which is a real shame because it has enormous potential. The exterior of the building is quite inviting. A good brush cutter, lawnmower, and hedge trimmer would be very welcome. The pool is now just a name... what a pity. In terms of security, I'd give it 4 out of 5 because the fire alarm did work at 2 a.m. (but once all the guests had left, no one came to check on us). In short, for the price we paid, it's acceptable.

01/12/2025: The staff is really nice, and the room and pool were okay. For a stopover on our way to the Atlantic coast, the hotel was acceptable for one night for our family. WARNING: The restaurant serves truly disgusting food. It tasted awful and was reheated in a tureen.

09/12/2025: We spent one night at the Campanille hotel in Montluçon on our way down to the south of France. The welcome was friendly, and the rooms were clean. We had an unpleasant surprise upon departure, as the hotel charged us an additional fee (not much) that wasn't mentioned when we arrived. The breakfast is plentiful and offers a good selection!

30/11/2025: The welcome was unremarkable, with a speech and extra charges depending on the guest's appearance. The room appeared clean but was cold and had malfunctioning fixtures, particularly the plumbing (shower and sink faucet). There was only one towel per person and a small bath mat, one chair for two people, two tea bags, and one bag of two biscuits for two people. The layout is poorly designed, starting with the entrance door opening onto a second door. There's poor insulation, it overlooks the parking lot, the hand soap is facing the floor, and the bathroom heater doesn't work. The area around the hotel is neglected and poorly maintained. The hotel's location is good. The three-star rating is a sham and therefore misleading given the reality.

05/12/2024: Petit restaurant très sympathique. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Le personnel est très sympa. Bonne cuisine. C'était la première fois pour nous et nous reviendrons.

30/11/2024: Poorly maintained and relatively dirty establishment, but we should not blame the cleaning ladies who obviously do their best to keep it clean. Kettle that doesn't close Broken shower hose No toilet brushes Damaged skirting boards Paintings which date because they are very yellowed..... For the buffet meal, it remains industrial that can be found almost everywhere. Disappointing!
