31/08/2026: What a wonderful experience this summer: dining at Les Bourbons restaurant is well worth a detour to Bourbon l'Archambault. Everything was perfect: from the food to the service.

20/06/2026: We stayed at this hotel on a recommendation. What can I say? Simply perfect! The rooms are beautifully furnished, clean, and spacious! The food is exceptional! 02/06/2026: It's a wonderful place. The setting is charming and peaceful. The staff is absolutely delightful, just like the owners who love to cultivate a warm and welcoming atmosphere and good taste. The food reflects this perfectly. What a difference between the menu descriptions and the reality! The dishes are beautifully prepared with delicacy and flavor. The presentation on the plate is exquisite. My two stays, on the way to and from a motorcycle trip, were a pure delight.

15/08/2026: The sandwiches are good, but they refused to make me another sandwich WITHOUT CHEESE. Very disappointed…

01/08/2026: We came to sit on the covered terrace, but the vacuum cleaner had already been used, and we could only sit at two tables because, and I quote, "there are only two of us tonight, so I'll move forward," even though it was 6 pm and the shop didn't close until 8 pm. Furthermore, the parasols outside were already closed, so we were left in the full sun if we wanted to sit outside. And complaining because other customers had sat there is a bit much, in my opinion. I'd really like to know if the manager approves of this.

13/09/2026: Returning from vacation, I stopped at this restaurant. The green salad with shrimp was tasteless. The calf's head was terrible, and the fruit salad was overripe. The yellow glasses were filthy. The owner was slumped over her counter as if she'd just gotten up. Back at the car, I saw someone taking a coffee break in the chicken coop—not very hygienic. I can only imagine the state of their shoe soles when they got back to the kitchen. I got home with a terrible stomachache. Where are the health inspectors?

05/09/2026: We had a very good couscous there. And for once, they were even better, open until 3 pm for lunch – worth noting, thank you and well done!

16/07/2026: The experience begins with dirty cutlery... What a shame, the decor is nice... Tasteless, mass-produced food; you have to ask for everything: salt, pepper, ice cubes... You have to ask for the wine to be presented to you because the servers don't do it themselves. The manager intervenes to minimize the damage, saying, "Hello Ms. TransGourmet, we certainly have no shortage of industrial restaurants in Vichy!" The disregard for service is palpable both inside and outside the plate :( A lunch break that I hoped would be very pleasant and relaxing turned into a real ordeal. It's an easy job when you love it. I never recommend industrial restaurants. Good luck, Morny, culinary perfection isn't found at your establishment!

19/09/2026: Walk-ins were treated like royalty. The pizzas were delicious, as was the dessert. The waiter was pleasant, friendly, and attentive. He didn't try to upsell us. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.

07/09/2026: We rented a small apartment just a few steps away and were advised to eat there. What a treat! Very generous portions, very thin crust, and different sizes available. We appreciated the friendly atmosphere, the kindness of the servers, and their smiles. A special mention for Elias who took the time to chat with us. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this pizzeria.

10/05/2026: The hot chocolate was very good, however, the pastries seemed a bit pricey. The waitress was also rather unpleasant, and it was difficult to get water.

29/07/2026: Arriving at 6 a.m. after a day at Le Pal amusement park, this little bar/restaurant was recommended to us by a park employee. He said it was excellent value for money, and I would add that the welcome was fantastic, and the food was generous and comforting. The set menu was more than satisfactory for everyone. Initially hesitant about the limited choices, it ultimately rivaled—nay, it blew away—all the restaurants with multiple menus, thanks to its delicious, home-style cooking. The waitress/cook/bartender single-handedly managed both the restaurant and the bar with exceptional charm, always smiling and passionate—a real gem. It's actually a 6/5. We were there for one evening, and it was the best of our 10-day vacation, and certainly not the least of the last ones! ☺️

29/07/2026: Flawless! We received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived, and there's truck parking less than 150 meters away. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, perfect after a long day at work. The shower and toilets were clean and well-designed, giving us a real homey feel. The meal was excellent: quick service without being rushed, perfectly cooked, more than reasonable portions, and homemade dessert. Fair prices and friendly service—I'll definitely be back!

18/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise at this country restaurant, just a few kilometers from the charming villages of Chatel-la-Montagne and Montagnier. A single, but superb, menu. A very warm welcome from the owner, who is also the chef and waitress, and the lovely terrace, perfect for these sweltering temperatures. In short: A wonderful evening! PhC.

14/07/2026: I was extremely disappointed by the lack of attention and service, which was practically nonexistent and incredibly slow, with no explanations or apologies, for the evening of a friend's 70th birthday celebration. She's been a loyal customer for years. I even called them that afternoon to let them know about her birthday and asked if I could bring a bottle of champagne to celebrate. They said "no," even when I offered to pay the corkage fee. Then I asked them to at least do something special for her birthday, but no—not even a cake or dessert. Our experience couldn't have been worse. What a disgrace!

08/09/2026: Good evening, two very bad experiences. This restaurant doesn't even allow dogs on its outdoor terrace, even though it was over 35°C. We had to tie the dogs to the truck's tow bar with water. The food made me sick and vomit right after the meal. I don't know what hygiene standards weren't followed, but there must be a problem somewhere. Frozen food. A tourist snack bar to avoid. Go eat a good truffade or poté in a real restaurant; you'll pay the same price. Sincerely, I won't be back. P.S. In response to your reply, Madam, you're a liar! You refused dogs for "hygiene" reasons, and you dare say you didn't refuse them! Regarding the temperature, the date isn't correct, but it was definitely 35°C that day. Seriously, selling baguettes with crap in them? And your frozen fries, too salty and disgusting, shall we talk about them? My partner hadn't finished her plate and you had the nerve to make a comment to her!!! No thanks. Have you seen the state of your kitchen and your fryers? Seriously. A very unhappy customer! Avoid this snack bar at all costs!!!
