17/02/2026: We came between Christmas and New Year's and were a little disappointed by the manager's behavior. She wasn't very pleasant and made a few snide remarks throughout the meal. Upon arrival, we waited a moment in the lobby, unsure whether we were at the hotel or restaurant reception. We took the liberty of ringing the bell, which the manager completely disapproved of, and she held it against us throughout the meal. A big thank you to the young waitress who was very professional. The food was exquisite and we thoroughly enjoyed it, but for the price, we would have appreciated a warmer welcome; it somewhat spoiled our enjoyment of the day. My son even thanked her for the vegetarian meals (ordered in advance, but without any research; they were actually the vegetables from the other dishes on offer). She curtly replied that when they were informed, there was no problem. I think, madam, that you need to take a hospitality training course to better welcome people and show a little empathy towards customers who want to have a good time. Thank you to the kitchen for this delicious meal.

11/10/2025: We loved this campsite and we would return again, the swimming pools and slides kept the kids busy throughout the day. It is a very big campsite (Biggest we have ever been to), however we was positioned very well and not to far away from everything. We found the electric supply on site good, but could tell when it was struggling during busy periods. Site is located well to shops and attractions. Showers & toilets was always clean, and could see them getting cleaned throughout the day. We used the washing machines daily and the use of the app was vital, due to the campsite being busy the app allows you to reserve washing machines, so they don't get taken up while your en route to them. We would stay again if we was in the south of France

06/10/2025: A very nice campsite. We had a very neat mobile home with a lovely patio among the trees. Very friendly staff. Great entertainment. Highly recommended, worth a return visit!

23/08/2025: We have been coming to the same place for several years and are more than disappointed on several levels. The service is very long, and we have to wait for people who arrived after us (we had booked, of course), forget our plates, and have to ask for water and bread twice. (4 very small slices for 6 at the end of the meal) and without forgetting the very familiar language of the waitress even though there are children. A special note for the cook because there is nothing to say. When paying, of course, we don't ask if it went well because they know very well.

15/08/2025: We came here after a treetop adventure, and we were right to do so! The food is delicious, and their salads are particularly excellent. The desserts are also worth a try, especially the homemade ice cream. A word of advice: it would be a good idea to include them on the menu, as they aren't listed. We discovered this by asking the young waiter, who kindly informed us that they were available. In any case, the welcome and quality are excellent, and I will definitely come back!

09/04/2026: Absolutely terrible with unreasonable prices

07/04/2026: The young waiter gave me a very warm welcome. But I left still hungry after eating a "Niçoise" salad, which I love. At €14, it's supposed to be a substantial meal salad. Instead, it was more like a rabbit salad 🐇—just a very sparse green salad...for that price, it's outrageous. A bit disappointed, actually.

24/11/2025: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The service was particularly poor: when I asked how I wanted my steak cooked, the waiter claimed it was no longer possible to choose, citing some supposed new law. Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to make fun of us. The wait was interminable: almost an hour before we got anything to eat, and during all that time, no one really paid any attention to us. The organization seemed completely nonexistent, and no one on the team was any better than the others. As for the meal, after all that waiting, it wasn't anything special either. In short, a very disappointing experience that I definitely do not recommend.

22/09/2025: We entered the patio a bit by chance for a cocktail... and frankly, we don't regret it. Pierrick gave us a warm welcome, directing us to the very unusual room (a former farmhouse) where there are high tables, low tables, chairs, stools, and large benches. The first evening, we kept it simple with mojitos, which turned out to be excellent. For the next three evenings, we left it to Max, the cocktail master, to surprise us with a new drink each time. They were all to our taste, even though we hardly ever drink alcohol. The Mai Tai/Espresso Martini/Jamaican Mule and Raspberry Daiquiri were lovely discoveries, but he wowed us with a cocktail that tasted like a madeleine... (yes, grandma's madeleine). We will happily return if our travels bring us back to Vallon 😁

18/03/2026: It's a shame the night was disturbed by a strong smell of cigarettes which we reported to reception and the noise for part of the night from the machinery that was tarring the tunnel exit.

21/02/2026: Bike-friendly. Excellent value for money for the room. Very good breakfast for the price. Very good restaurant. Open off-season. The telephone reception was excellent; you could hear the smile of the person on the other end. The welcome on-site was perfect, regardless of the team member. Thoughtful touches that made our stay special. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

30/03/2026: Go without hesitation. Superb, warm welcome. The hotel is well located, away from the noise of the city center; you can do everything on foot. The owners are very attentive and offer excellent advice for all the local attractions. Hearty evening meals are prepared with local produce.

02/01/2026: The pizzas (thin crust) were good. The price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly. The welcome was good, but the restaurant (although small) wasn't heated... so we had to cut our meal short... what a shame!

06/07/2025: From breakfast with authentic old-fashioned hot chocolate to dinner featuring Ardèche specialties, this is a tribute to tradition, but above all, a culinary delight. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed myself so much. A special shout-out to the chestnut soup served with foie gras. A culinary experience not to be missed.
