04/11/2024: A second experience for us after our first visit it was 10 years ago I think. One of the rare restaurants that accepts large tables. A delicious and hearty meal. Nothing to say about value for money. So we had a great time as a family.

28/07/2024: Contrairement à de nombreux clients déçus de devoir faire la queue (et on les comprend) nous n'avons pas attendu pour être servies, normal, il était 11h30 ... du coup, que du bonheur, un peu cher payé, certes, mais bon.
Mon amie a choisi des parfums "classiques" : plombières + riz au lait +
Conseillée par la vendeuse, me suis laissée tentée par le trio sésame noir + sarrasin + monarde (fleur sauvage) : surprenant mais un vrai régal, de quoi redonner un coup de boost pour reprendre le vélo par cette chaleur ;-)

Le cadre est sympathique et le personnel accueillant.

14/12/2023: A delicious time spent in this restaurant. The pizzas are excellent and the service is top notch. If you are passing through this small village, do not hesitate to stop there for a short break in a quiet and warm place. Thank you very much to Sylvie who is at the service, for her smile and her kindness.
12/11/2023: We visited this restaurant in the middle of Saint Jean Chambre for the Castagnades. We were warmly welcomed and the food is excellent. The quality is exceptional, you can enjoy homemade, local food, cooked with love and served with the warmest smiles that you can see in France. The owners welcomed us and took time to explain the dishes and their personal stories. What a nice time!
Will recommend 100% and will come back for sure!

03/09/2024: A treat! In a very nice setting, we ate at Léon in 2020 and then recently in 2024. The dishes are succulent, well presented and garnished! The prices are very reasonable and we had a great time.
Very pleasant waiter apart from one waitress who forgot us a little, the presence of the other waiter allowed us to feel pampered.
I recommend and would come back!
Small note however on the hygiene of the toilets... a more frequent passage should be made.

25/09/2024: Restaurant accueillant et personnel également. Avons mangé les propositions à la carte et nous avons été très satisfaits de la qualité des mets. Une carte des vins avec des vignerons de la région en rapport qualité prix excellent, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

17/08/2024: A bar restaurant which is great as a bar, welcoming, pleasant, friendly but as for the restaurant side... it's quite surprising. Not having a photo of their menu on Google, when my family and I saw 3 main courses and 3 desserts and that's it. We were already a little surprised. But that already means things are surely homemade. As for the drinks, they are local (Ardèche) I highly recommend just maybe a little expensive in my humble opinion. Coming back to the meal, there was no starter only dishes so 16€ for a dish including 1 vegetarian and 1 with meat and the third was 8€ because for children I imagine. However, the quantities were not really there... for 16€ in any case knowing that behind it there is only a dessert. Relatively disappointed with the experience, the village is lovely to visit. Thank you anyway for the welcome.

25/08/2024: We went to Mont Mezenc on 08/25/2024, however Surprise a big political head had decided to return that same day, result blocked by the Gendarmerie arriving at the top!!
No indication below to warn people, tourists.....
Contempt and lack of respect, it's true the gasoline is free and we're on vacation all year long to do this type 100klms return trip for nothing...

23/08/2024: Sunrise from Mont Mézenc
On the advice of our hosts, we wanted to see this superb painting.
Leaving Puy en Velay around 5:15 a.m., allow a 45-minute drive to arrive at the parking lot which is located at the start of the path for this short hike.
The walk lasts about 45 minutes, well dressed, equipped with a headlamp, good shoes and a thermos of hot chocolate for the reward, we therefore advanced towards the summit of Mt.
Once at the top, let the natural magic happen. The view is 360°, the moon in a dark sky on one side, the color of a rising sun on the other.
This little walk is definitely worth it!
After this experience, you can have lunch at Les Estables. We opted for various treats bought in the small bakery in the center, and a hot drink at the bar/restaurant near the tourist office.
After a short rest period, we completed this visit with a visit to the summer sleds, which are a 10-minute walk away. (Opening at 10:30 a.m.)
A busy morning that benefited the whole family! The smiles were there.

La salle du restaurant refaite à neuf est magnifique et a gardé son authenticité.
Le petit déjeuner est riche et varié.
