26/08/2026: One of the three children was missing a dessert, and they received a spicy Chicago-style sandwich instead of a regular one, so they couldn't eat it. The drink wasn't properly sealed; we arrived and it was spilled everywhere. In short, this kind of thing has happened countless times, and I'm fed up with this lack of professionalism. Once or twice, maybe, to err is human, it's nothing, but for it to happen systematically... 👎🏻

18/05/2026: A wonderful 3-day stay at Auberge du Lac to celebrate our parents' 90th birthday with family (25 people).
Everything was perfect: comfortable rooms, excellent meals, and a warm welcome.
A huge thank you to the entire team for these unforgettable moments. We will definitely be back!

To be served, especially for coffee, you're served after the locals and have to ask again and wait until the waitress finally decides to serve you. Tourists, steer clear, this isn't the place for us.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of summer, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family. The owner was very friendly, and we enjoyed a long chat with her during our visit. The menu looked absolutely delicious. Each dish featured local ingredients. I personally enjoyed a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals—it was divine. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vals; it's well worth the trip.

25/08/2026: Disastrous service on Sunday. I waited ages only to be told the restaurant was closed. The most absurd thing is that there was hardly anyone there, so I really don't understand why I had to wait so long for nothing.
When I called back later, they explained they closed because it was too crowded. In that case, perhaps they should hire more staff to handle peak periods.
Try another McDonald's!
25/08/2026: It's August 25, 2026, and the drink machine isn't working, so there's no point in going. Plus, there's no discount. The manager made the change, and it's not included in the menu, which was one of the advantages.
I'm disappointed to see that McDonald's doesn't offer any alternative solutions in general, especially when it comes to drinks. I think a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated.

12/09/2026: I got lost while cycling, my phone battery died, and the owner was incredibly kind! Beyond the amazing decor and stunning view, it was the warm welcome, the kindness, and the wonderful smiles of the staff that truly impressed me. And the food was just as incredible as the setting! I highly recommend the Royans salad—a delight with every bite! I'll definitely be back.
11/09/2026: No wheelchair ramp. Impossible to have a drink with my grandmother. Yet the place is very pleasant, what a shame.
