The flavors were varied and delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed the Vercors, and I savored the strawberry-verbena. My sister-in-law chose mango. We all ordered the homemade whipped cream—a real treat! 👌
30/06/2026: Every summer, we eagerly return to this ice cream shop and are never disappointed! The ice cream is absolutely delicious, among the best we've ever tasted. In addition to the exceptional quality of the products, the staff is always very welcoming, smiling, and warm. It's a real pleasure to come here every year. Small, rustic dining room.
It's true that the service is basic and doesn't meet the standards of modern restaurants, but at least you can feel the owners' genuine pleasure in welcoming guests.
Excellent plate of homemade charcuterie, a quality Ardèche dish "just like Grandma used to make," tasty and generous.
Highly recommended.

It's not worth McDonald's.

I strongly advise against it.
For once, the dessert was cheaper elsewhere in another restaurant. The wine is still at the winery, I think.
The waiter showed no motivation or effort whatsoever.
Well, he did apologize, though.

08/04/2026: We were delighted with our lunch today. There were four of us, and we hadn't booked. The food was excellent, all homemade. The presentation of the dishes was lovely, and the waitress was very pleasant and smiling. A nice touch was the complimentary homemade digestif offered by the owner.
18/12/2025: Fantastic restaurant where the owner welcomes you warmly and delights your taste buds no matter what dish you order. Everything we ate was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend it. This is a restaurant you absolutely must discover because Sulivan loves to please his customers, and he does it all with a smile. Our Christmas meal on December 18th was a real treat, and at the same price as every day...thank you, Sussu!

Nice place, very local. We weren't sure what to expect from the nuggets, but they were made fresh to order with really good chicken and local ingredients.
The same goes for our other dishes, with the option to get seconds of fries. Honestly, I might have eaten too much to go back on the treetop adventure course, haha.
I highly recommend it; very affordable prices for the consistently high quality of all our dishes. 👌
17/06/2026: Discovered by chance while having a package delivered to the pickup point. So we booked for the next day at lunchtime for Mother's Day.
What a lovely place and such a warm welcome!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time. We will certainly have the opportunity to return and we will do so with great pleasure.

31/05/2026: We were a group of bikers staying for one night. We received an excellent welcome, a very good dinner (half-board), and a truly delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, our late arrival meant we couldn't use the spa!
Highly recommended.
26/05/2026: We stopped here yesterday during our motorcycle trip and it was absolutely perfect: a warm welcome, a delicious local meal with homemade dishes, and a generous homemade breakfast. The room was lovely, I highly recommend it.

03/05/2026: While campervaning around Lyon, we stopped at this quaint restaurant for lunch. We ate deliciously, featuring traditional dishes like raclette, fondue, and bourguignonne, with generous portions and a fair price. The lady in the dining room (the owner, perhaps) was very kind and friendly with everyone... We'll definitely be back on our next vacation in France.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of summer, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family. The owner was very friendly, and we enjoyed a long chat with her during our visit. The menu looked absolutely delicious. Each dish featured local ingredients. I personally enjoyed a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals—it was divine. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vals; it's well worth the trip.
