22/03/2026: The wait was far too long, even knowing everything was homemade, and the tables were much too close together, offering no privacy. To top it all off, the owner at the till seemed far more concerned about the next day than customer satisfaction, not a single kind word. However, we did eat very well; everything was delicious. It's a shame these minor issues somewhat spoiled the experience. The servers were excellent.

15/09/2025: Nice spot, but the starter was small, and there wasn't much cheese in the warm goat cheese salad. The vegetarian dishes were a bit of a hodgepodge without much cohesion. The chocolate mousse was very good, though.

26/11/2025: While visiting Saint Montan, we stopped at this charming restaurant where we received a warm welcome in the dining room with our young Border Collie, which isn't always accepted... The service was excellent and the food superb; a special mention for the chestnut tiramisu! Thank you for contributing to the success of our day!

23/03/2026: I came for my 40th birthday and was quite disappointed. I'd heard good things about it, but unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. The concept is nice, with several dishes featuring local products, but half of it was underwhelming. One dish had a green juice made from leaves from the neighboring meadow, but it lacked substance and was rather uninteresting. The meat cooked on a string over the beautiful fireplace is a nice touch, but when it's undercooked, it's simply inedible! And the dessert consisted of a strawberry tart, and that's it! Not a scoop of ice cream or a coulis, just a small piece... For a restaurant with a good reputation and at a good price, I was really disappointed. I don't think I'd recommend it or go back. It's a shame, because the dining room is authentic and the place is pleasant, but the food isn't up to par, or at least not to my taste!

16/11/2025: We always love going here. We always eat the most delicious food and a vegetarian it is by far the most delicious restaurant in Ardeche. Note that the resto is has a meat & fish menu and that at the time of our reservation we ask for vegetarian food for me but it is always TOPNOTCH!
