30/09/2024: The food was good but nothing more. The starter, cheese with honey, was very little in relation to the price. The entricôte was nicely grilled and good. I had ordered dessert, but it was forgotten and not served. All in all a nice place and good food. However, with small errors

22/09/2024: Atypical friendly place. Waiter at the top. We came without reservation, the restaurant was full. We were warned of a wait and in the end we didn't wait that long. The truffled tartare is a treat and the matured beef is a delight. Go there with your eyes closed

06/11/2024: Dinner with friends, everything was perfect, the homemade foie gras I recommend😋 for gratins, there is something for everyone. We stuck with a local dessert, with the Ardechoise cut flawless after the lamb shank. I will return to the Don Camillo on my next visit to the Vans. Small restaurant that takes the trouble to be known and good value for money. With very good wine advice. I will come back to my next visit to Les Vans. 🙏🏻

Absolutely nothing to say, we looked for the little criticism but we didn't find the slightest negative point! A great welcome, excellent service from a very smiling, helpful man and very good advice... regarding the meal from starter to dessert everything was perfect!!! Very well presented, fresh, homemade, local and very well cooked products! A treat for our taste buds!!!!! Don't hesitate to go there... we didn't stay in the hotel but this one will make you want... very beautiful hotel inside and out! Own ! We recommend!!!!

10/11/2024: We are welcomed with simplicity and a smile, led to the room, traditional but warm decor, where a pretty garden invites itself to each window. And here we are, comfortably seated to begin a relaxing menu that will delight us from start to finish! Everything is fresh, perfectly cooked, prepared with research but without extravagance or unnecessary sophistication, the plates are beautiful, generous and tasty, served without haste, at the right pace, which allows discussion and appreciation, to arrive at the dessert, which is not unworthy. compared to the rest of lunch, without a pastry chef! A great discovery that we want to share and find again on our next visit to the region! Impossible to be disappointed

12/09/2024: We went to this beautiful restaurant in August. The view from the terrace is magnificent, the dishes are delicious and local. And the children's menu is of high quality with only homemade items. I can't wait to go back!

05/09/2024: Evening meal during which the superb outdoor terrace was unfortunately not accessible because it was a little cool. So we ate inside in a beautiful room which was extremely noisy. Really not pleasant to have a conversation. The flank steak was good and served with small potatoes and ratatouille cooked over a wood fire. Dessert with sweet chocolate Religieuse (a little hard!). Great service with a young and dynamic team.

30/11/2024: What a great discovery this little restaurant is. Very pleasant little vaulted room and a nice surprise when the dishes arrived. First of all we say wow🤩 before the tasting. The dishes are nicely decorated and the portions are correct. The kitchen is very good. An address to remember We will come back with pleasure

Je ne pense pas que l'on puisse trouver meilleure pizza à 50 km à la; une tuerie ronde et que dire du poulpe au risotto à la trufe et au parmesan, une tuerie. Nous reviendrons avant la fin de nos vacances. Encore merci et bravo

27/08/2024: I have never eaten in a restaurant but only take away. Both times the same observation: Pizza with very few garnishes compared to the photos on the menu (I had a total of 5 ravioli on my Royan) the same for the rest of the toppings apart from the cheese which drowned everything.

31/08/2024: We went there on a Saturday lunchtime while we were spending the weekend in the region. In Privas we didn't really find any restaurants that we liked. And fortunately because we made a great discovery here. We feasted our eyes and taste buds from appetizers to dessert. The presentation is neat and the dishes very tasty. So €38 for the inspiration menu (starter/main course/dessert) is reasonable. It's been a long time since we've been this satisfied with a restaurant. the young waiter and the young waitress are friendly. So no false notes. Well done 👍👍👍.

20/09/2024: You will be welcomed by Romane and her friend who took over this 80-year-old institution in May 2024. The products offered are real local products - we enjoyed the ice creams produced by a local artisan who reuses products from his parents' farm. Modern offers around a hundred wines to discover with the help of Romande, an oenologist who will be able to explain everything about the grape varieties. Wine events are organized once a month - we have not yet had the right to do so. The oenologist on our visit has the café restaurant Le Moderne called: Romane - great wine tastings in store. One workshop per month or by reservation. She is fascinating Furthermore, the café offers very good homemade dishes using local products. Not to be missed!!
