From our very first conversations, we were impressed by their professionalism, availability, and attention to detail. On the big day, the entire team was impeccable: organized, discreet, friendly, and extremely efficient. The meal was a hit with all our guests. Every dish was delicious, refined, and beautifully presented. We received countless compliments throughout the evening on the quality of the cocktail hour, the dinner, and the service. 28/05/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the Hôtel des Cévennes. The welcome was fantastic, the owners very friendly, and the rooms comfortable. The surrounding area offers beautiful scenery and plenty to do, including sightseeing and walks. The hotel is very clean and the food is excellent! We'll be back!

06/07/2026: We don't often find ourselves amazed by things that are easy. La Feuille de Chou is THE gastronomic gem of Les Vans. The cuisine is both simple and sophisticated. The flavors of the Cévennes region are present in every dish. I started with the meatloaf and the Provençal vegetable caviar, before finally succumbing to a chestnut fondant. I managed to get the fondant recipe out of me after some coaxing. I'm selling it to the highest bidder.

01/05/2026: Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We were looking for a quick bite and stumbled upon this little gem. The setting is beautiful, the interior is original and tastefully decorated, and it's very clean. The galettes and crêpes are excellent, and the welcome is warm. Highly recommended.

15/07/2026: Disappointed! While we had a very good experience last year, this year was disappointing. On the positive side, the daily special (confit pork cheek) was very good. However, the desserts were disappointing. The chocolate mousse tasted like it had been whipped with water, it had no flavor, and there were three scoops of ice cream with just a wafer on top, no whipped cream, no decoration whatsoever, and the chestnut ice cream was glittery!

28/07/2026: We just had a wonderful time at Le Marmitrolle, and we left feeling absolutely delighted! We enjoyed burgers, an Ardèche salad, and beef tataki: each dish was perfectly prepared, generous, and above all, absolutely delicious. Not to mention the local produce. Beyond the quality of the food, the welcome also deserves special mention. We were greeted with a smile, and the service was simply exceptional: warm, attentive, efficient, and always cheerful. You can tell it's a team that loves their work and takes pleasure in ensuring their customers have a great time. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

19/07/2026: A lovely place, I stopped there by coincidence during a bike trip and was not disappointed. The menu of the day for 21€ with a starter, main and dessert was satisfying me also after cycling 70 kilometers. The dishes themselves were like a homecooked meal but with some finesse and thought behind it. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and also offered to refill my bidons with some ice in it. If it wasn’t just a stopover I would definitely return!

11/07/2026: Restaurant with good reviews. Well, for us it wasn't great. A decent Saint-Estève for €40 served at 22°C was undrinkable. The foie gras was tasteless, completely flavorless. The main course was good but poorly presented. The service left much to be desired, especially with the waitress. I wouldn't recommend it for gourmets.
