28/09/2024: Magnificent inn with a friendly and rustic setting. The dishes are of high quality, at very reasonable prices. We ate really well and had a great time. I highly recommend!
24/09/2024: For greater safety, it is better to book because at this time when the weather is uncertain, the interior can only accommodate around 30 people.
The welcome, the service, the human contact are top notch. The authentic country dishes have nothing to envy of the great restaurants.
We had a very pleasant time there and will come back.

I will end up believing that we are the ones who are good at finding the good spots. Don't look for the inn in the village, go straight to the Patio. You will find the 2 backpackers who are as comfortable in the water as on land, and who cook very well for the hungry traveler. You will be welcomed with humor and a smile, taste Ardèche specialties and chat with very friendly people. Come on, don’t stop there, let’s go….🏝️🤿🤣

Une cuisine avec de superbes produits, divinement préparés. Un accueil et une gentillesse en salle rendent la soirée au top. Juste un service un peu long, mais rien de bien méchant.

13/09/2024: Accueil normal. Malgré du fait maison, service très lent surtout pour 4 plats du jour. Suite à un problème de livraison pour le pain, nous avions du pain très sec, on en avons fait part au Patron sa réponse "en France vous ne payez pas le pain" ma réponse "c est compris dans le prix"
La rouelle pas assez chaude et peu copieuse

29/08/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant, a nice table of 18 people (we had reservations). The waiters/waitresses were very knowledgeable, orders were quick and concise. As for the reception of the dishes, it went very well, once again, the waiters are very talented. As for the quality of the dishes served, they were excellent. We had a very good evening. Congratulations to the entire team at this restaurant!

Aujourd'hui menu du marché avec un délicieux velouté aux champignons aux oeufs brouillés et samossas d'agneau avec une purée de carottes et pommes de terres. 2 desserts aux choix faits maison comme d'habitude délicieux ! À refaire vite !

Well installed under a catalpa tree, sheltered from the sun's rays, we discovered this restaurant last Saturday.
A menu consisting of two starters, two main courses, two desserts told us a lot about the cuisine we were going to taste.
The boss, at the service, takes good care of his customers.
Light, tasty cuisine, full of finesse.
We promise, we will come back.
Go discover this corner of tranquility
Too bad, a few too many cars pass behind the fence which catches the eyes of the curious but not the noise of the traffic.

Les prétentions de la présentation ne gomme pas la médiocrité ;
24/08/2024: the terrace is nice, the service pleasant. On the other hand, price level, a little excessive in view of the dishes, we took starter main course dessert: starter very minimalist in quantity, for the main course: the lamb burger, not too much meat, the duck breast well cooked, but the carrots for the price, the chocolate and blueberry dessert is not great in terms of flavor.

06/11/2024: Dinner with friends, everything was perfect, the homemade foie gras I recommend😋 for gratins, there is something for everyone. We stuck with a local dessert, with the Ardechoise cut flawless after the lamb shank. I will return to the Don Camillo on my next visit to the Vans. Small restaurant that takes the trouble to be known and good value for money. With very good wine advice. I will come back to my next visit to Les Vans. 🙏🏻

03/09/2024: So I don't often leave reviews but this time I had to!
Impeccable service, we were 6 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. The food was excellent between the ravioli gratin and the pancakes…. The children had fun with games that were lent to them during the meal. The server was very kind! We had a great time and we will come back if we are in the area again.
In short, you can go there with your eyes closed.
27/08/2024: We were passing through Aubenas and we were lucky enough to come across the Gecko open on a Sunday 😊 a great time, in particular thanks to the service: very kind and available. On the plate it was really good too! THANKS !
