25/03/2024: La Guinguette du Pirate in St Just d'Ardèche, a magical place... All this winter we have been able to enjoy exceptional shows in a room very well equipped for all evenings. With quality cuisine, impeccable service even when it's full, everything runs impeccably, with a smile and friendliness. The managers work hard to give us magnificent evenings and shows. In summer we find ourselves near the Ardèche in a magical setting of piracy. Always with a welcome that tells us you are family. The whole team is admirable for their kindness, professionalism, service and menus for all tastes. There's nothing like it for spending an evening as a couple, with friends and, above all, clearing your head by partying on each scheduled evening and day. I recommend with your eyes closed. Bravo for this magnificent initiative. Thank you to the Pirates team, you make us dream and disconnect for lunch, an evening or simply through your true kindness towards all those present in your tavern. 25/02/2024: Auberge as there are many around here with the concept of a good old-fashioned hearty meal made with locally produced food so often unique dish and little choice for dessert but homemade!

03/04/2024: Great welcome, we were able to come with our dog, which is not achieved in all establishments, plus we were immediately offered a bowl of water, really very nice. The service and dishes are very good and well presented for a more than reasonable price.

14/09/2023: What a discovery! On a family vacation in Largentiere, our children chose the Mas de la Madeleine restaurant to celebrate our birthdays. We had a top class evening. Everything was there. The Family, the Setting, the Cuisine, the Service.... BRAVO👍and see you soon!

11/09/2023: We feasted ! A family dinner that leaves us with excellent memories. Upon arrival the view is sublime, the setting is absolutely superb. Whether it was the service or the cuisine, we were delighted. Just the smile of the waitress enchants you even before starting the meal. When the plates arrive, eyes are wide and taste buds are in action. A small menu full of local products, what we were hoping for when coming to Mas de la Madeleine. The prices are very reasonable in relation to the quality of the products. We will certainly come back when we are in Ardèche. Thank you very much and congratulations to the team.

16/10/2023: Magnifique cascade avec un beau parking gratuit à 5 minutes à pied. Le parcours pour accéder à la cascade est très bien entretenu avec beaucoup d'escaliers à monter ou descendre, avec des marches parfois un peu hautes à certain endroit,qui vous mènera aux deux belvédères( un avec la vue de côté et l'autre avec une vue de face). Continuer la route en voiture,pour vous arrêter au belvédère quelques kilomètres plus haut.

25/02/2024: We are well received there, we eat well (both healthily and deliciously) and what's more, the dishes and bread can be adapted for people with gluten intolerance (which is rare enough in the area to be underlined :) I recommend this pretty bistro!

03/04/2024: During my journey through the magnificent region of Ardèche, I let myself be tempted by a gourmet stop at "Le Poivre d'Âne", an establishment where the promise of a culinary symphony is felt as soon as you cross the threshold. The starter, a bold composition, was presented to me in a dark setting which brought out the green and red nuances of the crunchy vegetables, accompanied by a delicately placed piece of meat, like a contemporary work of art. The finesse of the taste revealed by each mouthful was an invitation to a sensory journey, where the freshness of local products intertwines with the audacity of a resolutely modern cuisine. The main course was a spectacle for the senses, a dazzling palette of textures and colors presented on orange porcelain reminiscent of the shimmering hues of Ardèche sunsets. The tender flesh of the fish, enhanced by a deliciously crispy crust, was accompanied by earthy notes of a delicate puree and mysterious black crumbs whose umami flavor coated the palate. As a climax, the dessert was a masterpiece of indulgence. The chocolate fondant, constructed in a precarious balance of elegance and depth, was punctuated by fruity accents, drops of passion embodied by a ruby ​​jelly. Small dumplings of cream, like pearls of sweetness, brought a creamy richness dissipating into a silky finish in the mouth.
