28/08/2026: The feeling of traveling to the Orient is palpable as soon as you step into this charming, well-run little Chinese restaurant. The owner welcomes you with genuine warmth, much like your Sensei might greet martial arts students. The dishes are as generous as they are delicious, and you have plenty of choices. The bill is also very reasonable. If you're tired of those huge Chinese buffets where everyone talks over their food, then Shanghai in Charleville is the place to go, and you won't regret it. A must-try!

16/08/2026: We had a reservation for a table on the terrace, but we were seated inside due to a thunderstorm. 🥵🥵 The servers were smiling and very friendly. We were relieved just before dessert when a fan was turned on. The dishes were generous and excellent. We'll definitely be back for a table on the terrace! 😉

14/08/2026: A quick, friendly, and efficient welcome. The service is perfect: professional, efficient, and warm. There's never a wait. They even replace the water carafe when it's not cold. Impressive! And, to top it all off, the food is very good. Fried calamari with a little garlic butter and a fresh green salad. Caesar salad as a main course. Perfect in this heat. The ice cream isn't mass-produced and is delicious. So good, in fact, that we're going back tonight... We were truly impressed by the quality of the service, worthy of a grand hotel, without the pretension or snobbery. A huge congratulations to the entire team. An example for many to follow.

15/08/2026: I've walked past this place for quite a few years now; it seems to be very well-known in Charleville. We had a wonderful meal at this Turkish restaurant. The portions are generous. The terrace is very pleasant, the interior decor elegant, and the service friendly and efficient. We'll be back.

02/09/2026: My husband and I come here to eat every time we are in Bogny sur Meuse. Having been here so often by now, we really have to say it: for us, this is without a doubt the best restaurant in the region! The food is super tasty every single time, and the service is always top-notch too. We return here with great pleasure and have never been disappointed. And for dessert, definitely don't forget the Pain Perdu! I order it literally every time, and it remains amazing. 😁 Highly recommended!!!

24/07/2026: The setting is very pleasant, the tables are beautifully set. The lady takes our orders and advises us on the dishes. The gentleman prepares the food with flair and brings us delicious amuse-bouches. The three different courses we chose were cooked to perfection. A very well-orchestrated partnership. We enjoyed the amuse-bouches and the slice of sugar pie. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

24/08/2026: The atmosphere was really friendly and the welcome was excellent. The menu is very comprehensive with a wide and tempting selection, but when you think of Italian, you think of pizza, and what can I say about the Oriental pizza with extra onion and parmesan? It's by far the best I've ever had. The ingredients are high quality and the taste is truly exceptional. I also tried the entrecôte maître d'hôtel, and frankly, it was a real treat.

24/08/2026: Absolutely wonderful! Excellent ingredients and a superb chef. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye steak with maître d'hôtel sauce, served with pasta and pickled vegetables. I highly recommend it; you can go without hesitation.

15/08/2026: I remembered eating in a restaurant's cellar with my grandparents when I was younger. As luck would have it, I came back to eat there 20 years later. Passing by today, I received a very warm welcome and the staff were lovely. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very inviting. I highly recommend it. P.S.: Thank you to the owners for the cellar tour, which brought back some wonderful memories.

12/08/2026: We booked a table for two on Saturday, August 1st, for the evening. We received a warm welcome right away. The owners are wonderful, attentive, and always ready to explain things when we asked. We were even able to see the old-fashioned oven where the dishes are cooked—it's incredible! The food is delicious, and we wanted for nothing. We had a wonderful and relaxing evening. We came from Belgium and don't live next door, but one thing is for sure: we'll be back. Honestly, hats off to the owners and also to the person who cooks the dishes. Bravo and thank you again! 😍

08/04/2026: I remembered the worst service I've ever experienced in my life at that restaurant, two years ago. We had come to eat as a family, and my mother wanted to share a meal between two. The waiter then yelled at my mother, saying that we either had to eat or leave. I don't regret not having eaten there, but I do regret not throwing my glass of water in his face.
