04/07/2026: We came about ten years ago, and the royal couscous at Palais Dervich thrilled me. My wife and I, along with our parents (who have since passed away), came, and we had a truly unique and delightful culinary experience. We returned today, and it's still remarkable. This is a place everyone in Sedan should be aware of because this royal couscous is simply irresistible: its deliciousness and flavors will captivate you. Thank you! We promise to come back more often, especially since the atmosphere is relaxing and the waitress is very attentive and friendly.

The meat was tender and all the ingredients were high quality, from the appetizer to the dessert! A restaurant that truly deserves its reputation and one we will definitely return to often.

We arrived after a long bike ride and were able to enjoy a delicious meal before catching our train (plus, there were two bike racks right in front of the restaurant)! Highly recommended!

And it's a shame, because the cuisine aims to be inventive, which is fine... The portions are too small... Bread is an institution in France, but unfortunately here I had to ask for it with every dish, and it wasn't good quality 🙄 I'm writing this because the value for money is terrible! It's a real shame, the owner should be careful, otherwise customers will find better. And that's precisely why I say it's a shame... €60 per person... 🤔 We expect better...

30/05/2026: Tonight, I'm disappointed. I don't understand it because it's usually very good. The sodas were lukewarm. The burgers were edible, but we didn't enjoy them; it was nothing like the quality of my previous visits. We asked for no salad and got salad, which wasn't a big deal, we could have removed it. The side dish served wasn't the one we ordered, and it wasn't very good either. No one came to ask if we wanted dessert. So we paid and left.

08/04/2026: I remembered the worst service I've ever experienced in my life at that restaurant, two years ago. We had come to eat as a family, and my mother wanted to share a meal between two. The waiter then yelled at my mother, saying that we either had to eat or leave. I don't regret not having eaten there, but I do regret not throwing my glass of water in his face.

The service was practically nonexistent: we weren't even offered a carafe of water during the entire meal… For a restaurant at this price, it's frankly unacceptable. As for the food, the fries were truly awful, like cardboard! The scallops and shrimp arrived cold, bland, and completely tasteless. We expected much better given the final bill. The beef skewer was as tough as a rock. In the end, the quality/price ratio was very disappointing. I do not recommend it.
