05/09/2025: This September 4th, there were two of us on a terrace for a beer and a shandy, I gave a €20 note, I received the change, I didn't check and later I realized that I had been cheated out of €10... I invite customers to check carefully and not to trust them too much! because without a receipt it's difficult to go back and complain!

25/08/2025: I came to the place on Saturday, August 23rd with a colleague and 2 residents with disabilities. We had been to Carrefour before to buy something to eat and drink for the residents. We sat down and asked for the menu. So far, no problems. The waitress then came back to take our order, I kindly told her that we were going to have 2 cafés crème and also asked if we could have glasses and spoons for the residents. The waitress said yes, and asked me what she was putting in the glasses. I told her that we had already bought what was needed for them, the waitress told me that it was not possible because it was a bar and that here we served drinks. In principle, I could understand. The waitress then went to see her boss who from the beginning did not deign to say hello, so in terms of friendliness we will pass. And the person starts yelling "Oh no, out of the question, it doesn't work like that in the bars in Charleville" that's all, I tell the waitress that we're leaving. I spoke to several of my colleagues who told me that she had no problem having only a coffee, and having already bought what was needed for the residents, so I don't understand at all why we were refused for things that had already been accepted with others. Rudeness, no friendliness and disrespect from the woman who yelled in the restaurant. My colleague and I were shocked, I do not recommend it at all.

15/04/2026: Very well located for exploring the surrounding area. We had a very pleasant night and enjoyed the on-site brasserie/restaurant. This was much appreciated as we didn't have to drive around to eat. Breakfast was excellent. The owner was very welcoming.

30/04/2026: The restaurant is generally decent in terms of food: the dishes are good and well-presented, no complaints there. However, the experience is severely marred by the welcome and service. The manager, Gabrielle, and her team are unpleasant, unprofessional, and sometimes even rude. You clearly get the impression you're bothering them, which is uncomfortable and discourages you from returning. It's a shame, because with more respectful and friendly service, the establishment could really be a great place.

28/04/2026: We waited half an hour, maybe even forty-five minutes, just to be told they'd lost our order. And when the dish was finally ready, it was cold. We didn't want to stay for dessert; it was such a waste of time.

10/05/2026: First time here last night with my friends, and frankly, what a wonderful surprise! Everything was excellent: the service, the welcome, the atmosphere, the seasoning of the dishes, the flavors… absolutely nothing to complain about. A special mention also goes to the French toast served at the end: a real gem, absolutely delicious! And this time, we promise, we won't miss the strawberry cake on our next visit. Thank you to the whole team for this lovely experience, and congratulations to the chef. We will definitely be back!

09/05/2026: Following our visit on May 8th, we were a table of 10 (we were informed that the veal in the €36 menu was replaced by a guinea fowl leg – making it expensive for guinea fowl!). We ordered €45 menus anyway, and nothing was up to standard – very mediocre for a bill of €555. Even the strawberry dessert consisted of only one strawberry, cut into quarters. In short, avoid this place – a disgrace! In 2019, it was perfect.

08/05/2026: The previous reviews didn't lie; the food is very good and reasonably priced, served by a friendly young lady. Without asking, we were given free water, fresh warm rolls, cheese soufflés, and warm toast with pâté.
