28/08/2024: On August 14 we stopped to eat lunch in this restaurant. We were greeted by unsmiling and not friendly staff at all, which is a shame. On the other hand, the gourmet cuisine was delicious. With a nice decor.

An impeccably clean restaurant that still has a bright future ahead of it (especially if they continue to serve me such good veggie sandwiches) 🫶🏼

22/09/2024: Accueil plus pou moins chaleureux. Cependant assiette de charcuterie copieuse et gourmande. Pizza correcte. En revanche au niveau de la notes à 3 nous devions payer 45 euros à 3 soit pour une pizza et deux bières cela fait lourd. Or ce petit incident a été régler immédiatement. En revanche nous aimons beaucoup y aller manger avec mon conjoint

09/09/2024: A disaster! They forgot to serve us a bottle of wine for €30 and we are still waiting for the hot chocolate and digestives… they lost a little over €50! In addition, the mussels that I ate were certainly not fresh, I was sick all evening... So we pay the bill and ask for the account. We discovered that he had charged us for the carafes of water €2.50 each, the small pots of sauce €0.90, an extra syrup which I never ordered and an escalope au gratin instead of one. Milanese (of course, which was much more expensive!). Never again!

29/10/2025: We had lunch on the terrace of the "Café du Musée" restaurant in Givet during our cycling trip along the Meuse in June. The friendly and helpful staff welcomed us warmly. The menu is classic, but the dishes vary; the daily special was sausage and mashed potatoes with a well-prepared pudding. Everything was delicious and plentiful, and the service was impeccable. The plates are served with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for cyclists. Excellent value for money.

28/09/2025: Disappointment. Change of owner/management. Food: No longer trust what Google continues to list as a menu. No more accompanied pork chops..., gizzard salad, rump steak, rabbit leg, etc.... and no more floating island, etc., in the dessert section. Food presentation is very limited, even though the menu is longer than before! Service: Waiter surprised when pointed out that the menu isn't fresh, in other words, dirty! Atmosphere: This used to be a small, clean establishment. Today, the faux leather interior seats are scratched or torn with exposed foam! What a presentation for customers! The counter area had a problem at floor level - covered with thick brown sticky tape! ALL THIS TO TELL YOU THAT IT'S TIME TO GET YOURSELF TOGETHER. You benefit from a very nice location and a formerly very good reputation. Good luck to you!

13/09/2024: A little next to Place Carnot and the Meuse is this Indian establishment. Cuisine underrated but very refined and done in a good way. Warm welcome. To recommend.

30/09/2024: Zero points. Saturday evening in your restaurant we were turned away at 4 even though we had reserved the day before for being 1/4 hour late. A little gentleman who apparently said he was the boss showed no courtesy towards us. The galleon sank for us.

05/07/2025: The meat (counterfilet) was cold in the 2 plates as well as the fries The salad was visibly not fresh (the black edges and well oxidized decidedly compared to the previous owner we divided the quality and multiply the price .....

04/07/2025: It was delicious! The service was lovely, everyone was attentive and very friendly! The value for money was perfect, the food was very good, and a special mention for the caramel French toast which was absolutely delicious!!! We will be back with great pleasure!
