30/08/2025: Attracted by the atmosphere, the laughter, and the charming location, I discovered this establishment by chance. The welcome is very warm, almost family-like, the staff attentive, the cuisine features fresh produce, the manager's recipes, and above all, very affordable prices. A lovely atmosphere every evening, a place where you can relax without fuss, and almost everyone ends up on the dance floor, where you can meet some wonderful people too... If you want to have a good time in all simplicity, far from the tourist factories, this is definitely the place for you! A big thank you to Sylvie and her entire team for their kindness and care, and without a doubt, see you next year 😍😘😘

24/08/2025: Extremely unfriendly service staff. In a group of nine people, it was unacceptable that one person didn't want a drink. Furthermore, a beer glass was served with water, and the food was rather unappetizing.

25/11/2023: I order a Grand Chai latte. When I reached the bottom, I noticed that all the powder remained, nothing was mixed. And when I bring it back, they tell me: "ah but you drank it all"... Well yes, to see the bottom you have to... They don't even offer me a replacement, just a "sorry"... Really not commercial at all, I strongly advise against it. Nice scam...

14/09/2024: Perfecto para pasar un buen momento, hemos comido unos crepes muy buenos con la vista perfecta. El servicio es rápido y Paco en el bar te hace dar ganas de quedarte.

19/08/2024: We went a second time (the first time was ok - we only wanted a coffee and a pain au chocolat. The lady was friendly, the price ok). Second time around, we were served by a man who insisted on speaking English, which really irritated me as I like to make the effort to speak French. No menu provided. We ordered 2 coffees and 1 waffle (supermarket bought for sure). On paying, he wanted €16! I asked to see the menu but was given some excuse. Avoid! He must be friends with the Nougat people across the way as they wanted to charge €30 for a small slither of nougat! A pity as lots of the other shops/traders sell beautiful things at a reasonsble price. Reine Jeanne was a very pleasant restaurant in which to have dinner - perhaps try there!!

11/11/2023: The aperitif on the terrace is pleasant, I go there from time to time with pleasure, the staff are not the most welcoming but are really nice, you can ask for your casanis with the carafe of water on the side (this is becoming rare), and the prices are reasonable..

29/09/2023: Everything went pretty well until the bill. No prices displayed on drinks so they set their prices at the customer's discretion! Result, 8th more than the surroundings, and again I went to the counter to understand.... It's literally theft and it's a commercially well-rounded mechanism. There's so much more honesty elsewhere. To avoid !

27/08/2024: We originally booked a different room but were recommended to change the room if we wanted a balcony - we changed to the duplexe which was more expensive and we were lead to believe this garden would be private however it was a shared garden for all guests. If we came again we would stay in the main hotel. The room felt a bit dated and a little dark - with not much privacy due to the shared garden, there was an extra charge for coffee pods and no milk provided - for the price we paid we felt these could be included. Other than this the people at reception were very friendly and the location was great.

16/08/2025: There were six of us, including a 93-year-old senior. We ordered three pizzas and, an hour and a half later, we still hadn't been served. Customers who arrived much later still received their food. When we asked the server with a smile if there were any left, the response was, "If you're not happy, we can refund you, or you can eat at Baumanière." Very businesslike... A deplorable experience: endless waits, no consideration for customers, and disrespectful service. We've been coming here with our grandparents for 20 years; we won't be back and absolutely do not recommend this place.
