08/05/2026: As usual, and just like three weeks ago, an item was missing, plus the prize for the trip—which, of course, is what we came for, the promotion, you know? Anyway, imagine my son's face, without his prize or his cake. "McDonald's sucks," he told me. Then try calling the number on the receipt; they don't even bother answering. I regularly shop at Carrefour. See you soon, McThief. And don't expect any sympathy, a smile, or an apology; it'll probably be my fault.

07/07/2026: We've been here twice. Both evenings were wonderful. The owner was incredibly friendly, and even though we don't speak French, we managed to communicate in English. We can wholeheartedly recommend this bar. We enjoyed tapas and a delicious rosé. 😋😍🍷 (July 2026)

18/06/2026: To follow up on Christophe's comment, I was also passing through Aix and, having just had surgery, needed to use the restroom. I had a drink yesterday, and I've never encountered anything like this before. I wanted to pay, but I only had my bank card. The waiter forced me to withdraw cash because I didn't have any, claiming that any amount under €10 wouldn't be accepted! And that it was the law. Tough luck for him, I studied law! He didn't give up, and I, very angry about this unfair situation where they were clearly pushing customers to spend more, left. He chased me, threatening me and using people around him who didn't understand the situation at all. Seeing that I wasn't going to back down because I was completely within my rights, he finally accepted the €4. I got yelled at, "Dirty Bordeaux girl, go back there!" SHAMEFUL! I was there for a holiday! AVOID this place if you don't have cash. They're right next to the cathedral, what a disgrace!!!!!

22/07/2026: Exceptional welcome, everything was so friendly... comfortable sun loungers. Meals can be served at a table or not, the choice is yours... We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time as a family.
