10/12/2025: It's quite rare for me to leave a review, but unfortunately… The prices are excessive: the meat, with the sauce on the side, cost me €30 in total, and it gave me a stomach ache for three days, and I'm far from being sensitive. The garlic pasta was barely cooked. Regarding the service, nothing particular to say except that the menu wasn't explained to us, just a quick order. In the end, there was no receipt, and after checking, a difference of €5 to €7. It's not a big deal in itself—I can even pay €20 more when the service and food are impeccable—but it's a matter of respect for the customer. On the other hand, the next day I went to a brasserie called Oléa. And there, you can see the difference. I'll let you look up the name of the restaurant in Marseille: the reviews and ratings speak for themselves and perfectly reflect the quality of the place.

26/02/2026: It was gray in Saint Rémy, so we ended up at the Grand Café Riche to warm up. To begin with, we particularly appreciated the decor; everything had been carefully chosen, respecting its history while remaining stylish. The welcome was warm, and the waiter and waitress were smiling, competent, and very attentive. The food was good too; the lamb shank and ribeye steak were expertly prepared—you could tell the chef was skilled—and the pear tart we shared was delicious. In short, we had a wonderful meal. We highly recommend it.

11/12/2025: Terrible experience!!! COCKROACH IN OUR DISH We were a family of 8 and A COCKROACH was in our PORK CHOP (over €30 per dish). We spotted it at the beginning of our meal, so we stopped immediately and complained to management, who then claimed it came from the wood used in the pizza oven!!! 😩🫣 The cockroaches are present in the kitchen due to poor hygiene and nothing else. This restaurant is definitely to be AVOIDED!! Of course, we left the restaurant immediately, which deserves a health inspection because this is completely unacceptable!! Furthermore, when you offer dishes at prices over €35/€40, you have a duty to be absolutely impeccable. Avoid this place and report it!!!

08/11/2025: No matter how good the soap is, those two poor canaries, each in a tiny cage, are heartbreaking. How can anyone still raise birds in such conditions? At least give them an aviary where they can fly around, if that's the bare minimum. Can you imagine living in similar conditions, even on a smaller scale?

06/11/2025: The Savonnerie du Moulin à Grain is a true journey back in time: it smells of Provence and the nostalgia of the good old days 🧼🌿! A place full of charm where even the soaps have a soul.

02/12/2025: Food poisoning following kebab consumption: vomiting all night and fatigue the next day. A hygiene/meat quality check is necessary.

01/12/2025: We regularly order kebabs from Samos for delivery and are never disappointed because it's definitely the best kebab in Aix-en-Provence... but this Sunday we ordered one kebab galette meal and one kebab on its own, both with salad, tomato, onion, and white sauce, and it was impossible to eat them. There were too many onions, and they were raw too. It felt like we were biting into a raw onion directly. In short, this is the first time this has happened. Usually, they're discreet and cooked on a griddle.

24/02/2026: Mixed feelings. Moldy ceiling and walls, cold and questionable atmosphere. Wooden plates were very unhygienic. One wonders what state the kitchen is in... Very good wine and the dish was okay for the price. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The chimichurri needs improvement... In short, not bad for buying a bottle of wine to take away.

03/02/2026: It was tasty and a good portion, except for the pepper sauce which was anything but runny! (I wondered if it had been microwaved!) We were seated on the terrace, and the chairs were very uncomfortable (just wooden slats). We had three different servers throughout the evening, and none of them mentioned that we CANNOT pay by credit card. Cash ONLY; we had to go to a nearby ATM, but it wasn't there. The number of employees shouldn't be declared (in my opinion), just like the revenue. Well, it's Marseille, after all... Despite the food being very good, we won't be returning because of this and the uncomfortable seating.

03/02/2026: It's a shame I can't attach a picture of my triple cheeseburger, because honestly, it was prepared with such a complete lack of care 😡 It's so simple, all the cheese was stuck to the paper... Plus, we waited 20 minutes for two sandwiches, with a car in front of us. And they call it fast food, I guess we have a different concept of time.

02/02/2026: I received a very warm welcome from a super friendly waitress! And the food was excellent as usual, which was a real treat after the sports exams.

27/06/2025: Very good pizza. The crust? A marvel. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, as if a mattress and a surfboard had a baby. And for those wondering if wood-fired pizza really makes a difference... it's like comparing a Ferrari to a scooter. Yes, it does!

28/12/2025: A truly delicious and unmissable restaurant in Marseille, which I highly recommend. The tiramisu is amazing. Thank you to the owner who welcomed us late and is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.

12/12/2025: Here it is… an authentic restaurant that offers Italian cuisine like no other… With incredibly fresh ingredients and mouthwatering specialties… A must-visit if you're passing through or in Marseille… The best part… this establishment is run by a very professional, welcoming, and friendly mother and daughter… and that's no small thing! Bravo!

10/12/2025: The staff here were very friendly and spoke English (which is very important in France 🤣). The seating area on the second floor is an outdoor terrace! It's really amazing when the weather is nice! I know Starbucks is a chain, but I think the staff who served me that day and the terrace alone deserve five stars! I was there on the afternoon of November 18th, and the staff at the counter were really lovely 😊
