19/01/2026: I booked a table for eight at La Velada two weeks in advance for a birthday celebration. We ordered food and cocktails for almost €400, and at 11:30 PM, just as the party was starting to get going, they kicked us out of the table to make room for another group! This is unacceptable! The least they could do is warn us in advance that the table could be given away at any moment, because we were left out in the cold before the party had even started! Avoid this place, especially for a birthday! What's more, they didn't hesitate to film us during the evening and put it on their social media, even though we were kicked out afterward!

08/01/2026: First time at La Velada for my friends and me. A very pleasant surprise, especially the wood-fired pizza which was excellent. A superb atmosphere in this lively restaurant – we'll be back very soon!

09/01/2026: Horrible food experience. Deep frozen vegetables served boiled to it’s mash and cold together with half raw piece of salty fish with two halfs of green eggs. When peeling the prawns a black stinking sauce left the bastard, and when asking for warm food the answer is ”It’s supposed to be cold”. We just tried to forget about the mistake to visit this place, but it’s unforgetable. By a bad bad reason. 40 euros poorer.

25/10/2025: Catastrophic experience. I dont know to laugh or to cry 😂 55 min for main course. No one to apologize on half empty restaurant. Fish soup - just bullion, no any sign of fish in it. The mains…we left after the 55min. Just avoid

07/02/2026: Currently, the restaurant is supposed to open at 9 am, but once again, it's not open on time. No one comes to give me any information. After waiting 10 minutes, I'm finally told it opens at 10 am. They only tell me because I ask. Seriously, this is how things work at this McDonald's.

23/01/2026: Extremely unfriendly, they don't listen to the customer at all. Cold fries, 🍟 they bring you the same bag. Avoid at all costs. The customer is king, not here.

Faites travailler les artisans proche de chez vous 0 respect ils ont ! J ai apeller 12 fois 0 réponses j avais des enfants à la maison qui voulaient manger des burger et du coup ils ont jamais manger leurs burger !! Merci bien

21/01/2026: The saleswoman wasn't smiling and didn't even say hello. I asked for a milkshake and was told the price without a hello or a smile. Really unpleasant, I turned around and left. It doesn't make you want to buy anything.

02/11/2025: Disastrous! It's like we're bothering them, especially the man making the crepes. Besides, €6 for a Nutella crepe? I've never eaten such a dry crepe… I can understand that making crepes all day is annoying, but the least they could do is be reasonably polite to their customers. This man's behavior needs to be addressed! I won't be back.

15/01/2026: I chose this hotel purely for convenience, because I didn't have a TGV train and it's right across from the station. I took the easy way out… and what a mistake. This establishment is absolutely not worth the price. Even €10 would be excessive. Upon entering the room, an unbearable stench of urine (you wonder what animal it is) hits you in the throat. The mattresses are dirty, the sheets are dirty, everything is dirty. Hygiene is clearly nonexistent. To top it all off: the reception staff rings the bell every ten minutes to get you out of the room, which is as unpleasant as it is incomprehensible. Frankly, I felt dirty after sleeping there. A very unpleasant experience that I absolutely do not recommend. Avoid at all costs.

13/09/2025: I've rarely eaten such a bad croissant, but hey, maybe it's my fault. Who buys a croissant at 8 p.m. and expects it to be fresh? The (only) restroom is quite unkempt and reeks of mold. The café au lait was okay. Self-service. Convenient location. Right in front of the train station.

31/01/2026: This is the worst place I've ever eaten. My husband's pasta wasn't salty at all, and then he found a hair in his plate that hadn't fallen off his head! My pizza was tasteless. The waitress started being rude to me. Then we found out you can't pay by card. We had to withdraw money from an ATM and pay a commission. The cutlery was just lying on the dirty table. How can you get service like this in the city center???? And it's so expensive too!!!

09/02/2026: Dangerous establishment, absolutely avoid! Beyond the already alarming reviews, which we only saw after the fact, there are serious hygiene violations here. Out of two drinks ordered, one had a huge cockroach at the bottom... How is it possible for things to get to this point? And the waiter was barely surprised when we told him? I've never seen anything like it. They could use an inspection...

01/02/2026: HORRIBLE!!!!! What a shame I didn't read the reservations for this "restaurant"! The service was awful, the waitress was rude and ill-mannered, a real jerk. They didn't want to serve us because we only wanted some mules amb frites (small, flatbreads with fries). It took an hour, and they didn't provide enough cutlery for everyone. No cleanliness whatsoever. The restroom was dark and dirty, and the interior was a disaster of disarray and filth. The drinks are ridiculously expensive; they charge €10 for a beer. They don't give you a receipt. It cost €108 for a few beers and two 1000ml bottles, and the service was terrible, not even a hello or goodbye. Lack of cleanliness and attention.

17/01/2026: I just called to ask about the sushi menu, and the man, who was clearly drunk, hung up on me. It's unbelievable for a restaurant to behave like that! I don't recommend it; they were too casual and not professional enough.

06/01/2026: The delivery driver was great! However, my order arrived without a baguette, without sauce… and I couldn't get through to the restaurant after a 30-minute fruitless call (charged at 0.15 cents per minute). It's a shame to offer such poor service for a brand that claims to be "luxury"...

24/01/2026: Good evening, we ordered three pizzas, and let me tell you, they were disgusting! Avoid this place at all costs! The dough wasn't even cooked, it's a disgrace! One of the eight-cheese pizzas wasn't even topped. I absolutely do not recommend this pizzeria.

08/10/2025: Pizzas arrived cold, cooked ham instead of raw ham, 1 hour instead of 20 minutes, and when you order just one, you are told you will have to wait for more than an hour, whereas if you order at least 3 you get them faster, this pizzeria has become a mess.

27/12/2025: My partner and I ate there for lunch today. The fries were overcooked and inedible, the mussels in curry were swimming in water, and my eggplant parmesan was completely forgotten. Never again.

26/12/2025: I stopped briefly between errands and I wouldn't stop there again. The pasta was rock hard with no butter, the veal Milanese wouldn't even eat, and as for the service, I think it was run by former guards from Baumettes prison. Awful.

18/11/2025: Very good dinner, friendly service, and not a long wait for the meal. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: The worst restaurant I've been to in France. Bad food and terrible service. Even paying was difficult because we couldn't pay with a debit card.

28/09/2024: Because we have to give one star! Not a serious establishment in every respect! Low-end product quality, which makes dishes taste bland and uninteresting. The service is long and without coordination with the kitchen. Many customers simply left. Too bad the place is fantastic, not everyone can eat by the sea. So don't waste time with this place.

28/09/2024: Although the crepe is decent, the service ruins everything. Plastic glass, having to order at the bar, rude waiter, no consideration. In short, absolutely NOT a piece of good old Brittany in Marseille.
