The service was very friendly. The chef, Didier Guibert, even came to greet us at the end of the meal to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful time!

13/04/2026: A reliable choice in Aurillac: the setting lacks a bit of warmth and the portions tend to be smaller than they used to be, but it's still well-prepared and very tasty. Unusually for Aurillac, there's a chef in the kitchen.

10/06/2026: This place is as beautiful inside as it is outside. The location is simply magnificent, with its view of the Auvergne mountains. As the sun sets, the place becomes even more magical. And what can be said about the village of Salers, with its ancient stones and medieval atmosphere? As for the hotel, it pays a beautiful tribute to the surroundings. Excellent in every way, the on-site restaurant is of very high quality, all served by a dynamic and friendly staff. A truly beautiful image of France!

02/06/2026: We enjoyed the spa for two hours. The welcome was truly exceptional, filled with kindness and attentiveness. The facilities are very welcoming and clean. We had a wonderful time, with a beautiful view in a peaceful and rejuvenating setting. I highly recommend it.

11/05/2026: The green salad was clearly not fresh, as it was rotten in places. The dishes weren't great: the pizza crust was soggy, and the lentil risotto was sickening (far too much parmesan and undercooked eggplant). The service was too slow, and the excuse given (it was very busy) is unacceptable; there weren't more people than the number of seats available (they should staff accordingly).

07/05/2026: A very good experience at this charming restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good quality with affordable prices. The only slight downside was that two dishes arrived a little lukewarm, but it wasn't a big deal. In short, I recommend this place.

21/02/2026: A great stop in Pierrefort! A very warm welcome in a splendid setting; excellent lunch, fresh produce, and reasonable prices. Definitely not to be missed! We didn't stay overnight, but we'll do that next time 🙂

25/05/2026: An exceptional weekend for our group! We just spent an extraordinary Pentecost weekend exploring the Cantal region, and our accommodation at Gîte du Lac de Madic played a huge part in that! We were a group of 15 motorcyclists, and the experience was simply perfect from beginning to end. A huge thank you to C and L, who are wonderful hosts. Their warm welcome and great kindness immediately put us at ease. Special mention goes to their culinary talents: they provided us with pure moments of pleasure around the table. This gîte is truly the ideal place for groups who appreciate authenticity and excellent homemade food! As for the accommodation, it was absolutely flawless. Everything was top-notch: the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. It was a magnificent discovery and a dream base for exploring this beautiful region. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for friendliness, comfort and sharing!

A wonderful welcome, flavorful cuisine, a cozy space dedicated to American music from the sixties and seventies, and a giant screen dedicated to cars—everything exudes authenticity. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen! If you're ever in the area, it's a must-see!! Unforgettable...!!!

22/04/2026: Excellent crêperie. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Very welcoming service. Delicious dishes, a mix of traditional galettes and local specialties (cornets, truffade, stuffed cabbage...). A great place to eat.
