28/06/2026: Just came to the restaurant for lunch. The starter, main course, and dessert of the day were very good. I enjoyed the quiet little terrace at the back of the restaurant. The service was very quick. I thank the waitresses for their kindness. Ramps for wheelchairs are available to access the terrace. If I return to the area, I will gladly return to this restaurant.

21/06/2026: As a group of Motorcyclists we stayed here for a week in June 2026. It was a perfect venue for us for touring the local area. The staff were amazing and evening meals were all superb. We were allocated two garages to lock the bikes safely away at night. The wi-fi is free and there is a great terrace and a good bar frequented by locals. We had fabulous time and will be back and would certainly recommend this hotel.

06/10/2026: Excellent product quality, helpful explanations that make you want more, fast service, reasonable prices! What more could you ask for on a Monday lunchtime after a stroll through Murat? The truffade with Capelin ham was divine! As was the Cantal salad. The homemade Murat cornet… a wonderful way to end the meal. The biscuit was delicious and the cream was absolutely divine! And the pachade (I think it was a bourriol, unless it was a different name) was also very good.

05/10/2026: Just a few steps from the overcrowded terraces and the so-called artisanal ice creams that are so bland they can't even be called artisanal, let yourself be guided to La Table des Volcans. There you'll find an owner passionate about his Cantal cheese, where you can savor, as I did, an exceptional Salers steak—and I mean it—accompanied by a violet mustard, less intense than Dijon mustard, but whose pairing with this meat is, in my opinion, a thousand times more perfect. You can also try the Murat cornets, fabulous... truly. The biscuit has a tender crispness, the creams are delicious; there's no other way to describe it. I paired it all with a glass of Marcillac "La Jouate," and I don't regret my choice. Advertising is always a debatable concept, but for La Table des Volcans, I have no hesitation.

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery... A very warm welcome. The foie gras is sublime, accompanied by a delicious salad. The Chardonnay is excellent.

19/08/2026: The food is top-notch and innovative. The welcome is warm. You can tell they love what they do. With them, you feel like you're part of the family. It's a shame Eva and Cedric are moving on to other ventures; we'll miss them. I've only been to their restaurant twice, but you always feel so comfortable in their company. Best of luck in your new roles.

20/08/2026: Passing through the town of La Rézentières with our family, we had the pleasure of meeting Lionel, the owner, and his wife. We enjoyed some local drinks (beer and Auvergnat cola). They gave us excellent advice for exploring the surrounding area and recommended places to visit. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by the pétanque court on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Good times and fun guaranteed! Simon Le Normand

04/07/2026: The welcome was perfect, the room spacious, impeccably clean, and the bed very comfortable. We had dinner there, which was very generous and excellent. Located in a quiet, pretty little village, we highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

23/08/2026: The water park is nice. The wave pool is decent. The water slide is amazing. The price for non-residents is excessive.

21/07/2026: While passing through Salers, we had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive, and the dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented. We savored the trout with julienned vegetables, and for dessert, we were delighted to discover a delicious blueberry flognarde that wasn't too sweet. The menu is competitively priced.

02/10/2026: We had a delicious meal here! We were in Massiac for the Uphill Race, and the restaurant had a special menu for the occasion. We chose the duck confit, and it was absolutely amazing! In the beginning the service was very quick, the only downside was that we had to wait quite a while for our coffee, but with such a nice atmosphere, we really didn’t mind.

26/09/2026: Honest cuisine, super friendly staff even for non-French speakers! Our dog was immediately brought water. Then a complimentary bottle of water and glasses were placed on the table. Lovely spot, both indoors and outdoors, in a beautiful little town. And last but not least: the chef! Thank you for the warm gestures; even though we don't speak each other's languages, we understood each other perfectly! Keep up the good work, stay authentic, stay true to yourself!

28/05/2026: A truly enchanting interlude. You'll be pampered by the owner and her sister. An unforgettable meal awaits you in a restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. The rooms are clean, though perhaps lacking a touch of modernity, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. A garage is available for motorcyclists. You can book your stay with half-board and enjoy a unique experience in terms of both the restaurant and the warm hospitality of the owners.

21/02/2026: A great stop in Pierrefort! A very warm welcome in a splendid setting; excellent lunch, fresh produce, and reasonable prices. Definitely not to be missed! We didn't stay overnight, but we'll do that next time 🙂
