13/09/2024: We had a really great lunch, and each course was a new taste experience. I especially loved the Truffle dish. Our menu gave us a range of courses featuring a wonderful selection of ingredients and preparation techniques. We loved them all. Service was relaxed, and our server was very knowledgeable and described the dishes in detail, so we really appreciated them. He was genuinely interested in our thoughts, and he made it all more enjoyable. We had a memorable lunch that we feel was very good value for money. If we are in the area, we will return.

28/08/2024: Le restaurant étoilé propose des plats avec peu de saveurs. Le plat principal, la lotte, est servi avec une sauce tellement vinaigrée que l’on ne sent rien d’autre. Le dessert unique dans les menus consiste en des tranches fines de pêche peu mûres, une boule de glace aux herbes et un choux extrêmement sec. Un dessert étoilé franchement? Il y a un menu végétarien qui ne contient que des légumes. Aucune légumineuse, aucune céréales : 0 protéines. Ils ne savent pas ce que doit contenir un menu végétarien. Le bistro a quant à lui un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le tarte aux myrtilles est succulente et j’aurais de beaucoup préféré ce dessert dans l’étoilé. Bref, allez plutôt au bistro si vous voulez profiter du lieu qui est franchement à découvrir.

15/09/2024: Discovery of this restaurant really perfect. Cooking on the table, what a spectacle!! Our daughter loved it and so did we. The dishes are very good, well seasoned There is a very good atmosphere in this family restaurant and the service is pleasant. We will come back!!

28/08/2024: Very nice, smiling, friendly and dynamic employee. Came to have a takeaway lunch, she offered to reheat it. Very good pizza. I recommend!

17/08/2024: Very complicated You have to order your breakfast in line at the bakery then you get the croissant in the bag, The rest is then delivered to the table, but without a plate. This service is very unusual

12/06/2024: An amazing place - one of the best pizzas I’ve had 🤍 The service was nice and welcoming even though people around joked in french that the waiter will need to talk to us in English. :)) He had no problem. We were after a long trip so thank you.

18/10/2024: Parfaitement surpris , qualité , quantité , accueil , produits de première qualité viande légumes , le plateau très bien présenté , donc très agréable à l'oeil donc double plaisir de consommer ,très bon accueil également malgré arrivée tardive par apport à la fin de service . J'ai assuré que je donnerai mon avis et je ne le regrette pas du tout

09/07/2024: Decent and plentiful lunch, but nothing more... The restaurant room is really very noisy, difficult to chat in these conditions. Very warm welcome and perfect service. For the same price, you can find much better, there is a little lack of sophistication in the plates, for example the simmered beef is served with fries and rice, not very consistent and dry meat. The grilled piece of beef was hearty and cooked as requested.

29/09/2024: Une belle soirée entre amis dans un cadre magnifique. Le lieu est un ancien moulin, l’intérieur est agréable, décoré de beaux objets chinés, chic et original. L’accueil et le service sont exemplaire, les employés aux petits soins. Les plats sont très bons, la carte variée, entrées, plats ou desserts vous régaleront.

09/09/2024: Very small claustrophobic room, no window just a glass entry door. Air con. was OK and essential without fresh air ventilation. Reasonable location, with a 10 minute walk to the town centre.

12/05/2024: Hello, we came for one night, frankly it's great, very warm welcome, with all the explanations for entering the parking lot late in the evening, our room for 5 people, was very clean, very comfortable beds, quiet hotel, not Noise at night, breakfast and a large buffet with lots of choice, nothing to complain about. We will come back without hesitation if we come back to cognac. The prices are affordable and the staff pleasant. thank you
