04/08/2026: Hello, Today we were assaulted by the waitress or owner—I don't even want to know what she is, I'm not even sure she's human—she spoke rudely to us and literally assaulted us in front of all her customers. Whatever you do, don't go there; this woman is a real terror.

04/08/2026: A very bad experience. My partner turned off his engine as soon as an employee asked him to. Despite this, she became very aggressive and insulted us ("wanker," "get lost," etc.), even resorting to verbal threats. What's most shocking is that the manager was present and never intervened. Such behavior is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

22/08/2026: I was forced to order a Diet Coke under the pretext that I was using my loyalty points for the meal deal! But there's absolutely no connection. After doing some research, I found nowhere that ordering a meal deal with my points meant I couldn't have a regular Coke. I even offered to pay the extra charge for sugary drinks, as I'd done before, but they refused. It's ridiculous! Is it any of your problems if I want to pay the extra charge? So I had to force myself to drink a terrible Diet Coke because they refuse to pay the 14-cent tax so I can have a regular one! It would be a matter of agreeing with colleagues: sometimes you can have it, sometimes you can't.

04/08/2026: The same excellent standard as other McDonald's we've used when travelling through France. You get what you order which is so much easier now using the electronic order boards which translate into several languages. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. I like their small chicken wraps which are not so big but hit the spot. Their coffee is always good and the toilet facilities are always clean. A great pit stop when travelling. AC is always a bonus during hot summer weather.

12/04/2026: A pleasant surprise at this charming little village hotel. Very clean and cozy. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a bit firm for us. The bar and restaurant were pleasant and offered generous portions. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with very limited choices.

01/07/2026: I ordered lamb stew, and the dish that was served was inedible. Not a single edible piece of meat on the plate. Avoid at all costs! It's a shame because the setting is very nice.

29/05/2026: We went to eat there on a day when it was 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), and the menu offered beef bourguignon, turkey blanquette, or fish and chips cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in ages… The fries were undoubtedly the cheapest from Metro, even thinner than McDonald's… The outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant isn't safe; I fell while sitting down because some of the slats were damaged and the chair legs kept falling through the holes. The manager's response was, "That's just how it is. The terrace got flooded, we'll have to redo it, what can you do?" Not to mention that the terrace in front of the restaurant wasn't finished, and this man asked me to go inside while I waited for my friend because… he was using a leaf blower. It was 12:30… In short, the setting is nice, but otherwise… avoid it at all costs!!!

25/05/2026: We arrived at the end of the lunch service, at 2 pm. The owner gave us a poor welcome, explaining that she couldn't serve us right away. Finally, the owner took our order after 30 minutes. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive, with no help whatsoever from the owner, who simply replied "no, no" to our questions. When it came time to pay, the owner's lack of professionalism continued, making it clear that paying by card was inconvenient for him (without any apology, of course). Other customers were refused service right in front of us for no apparent reason. I do not recommend this place.

30/06/2026: We came to pick up a zero-waste basket, and honestly, it felt like we were bothering the saleswoman. She didn't even give us a hello; she was very nonchalant and spoke very rudely to someone who just wanted to say hello, clearly dismissing them. It's a very bad impression for a salesperson. Honestly, it raises serious questions about her professionalism... You need to review your recruitment process. In this line of work, the first thing customers notice is the professionalism of the sales staff and the welcome they provide. Which was definitely lacking here. And as for the zero-waste basket, it was very mediocre, and the contents weren't great either...

29/06/2026: A warm atmosphere with smiling servers. I had a muffin with hot chocolate and thoroughly enjoyed it! A very pleasant stop before doing some shopping!

05/08/2026: It's getting worse and worse, the prices are never the same. If you place an order, be careful, there's always something wrong. I'm not going back.

18/08/2026: Top-notch service! A young, friendly, and always helpful team. As a shopkeeper in the mall, I go there almost every day for lunch. The daily specials are varied, complete, and generous, always served with a smile! Fun fact: the chef is so nice that he even let me take my dessert home to enjoy in my shop 😂 An excellent place that I highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

25/07/2026: I really like this place, especially for the quality, quantity, and price. It's definitely one of the cheapest fast food spots in Angoulême, and it's honestly delicious! I recommend the tacos; they're what I always get.

19/07/2026: Friendly, fast service, good quality products, XXL generous portions and inexpensive (compared to the same price spent in the Paris region).

20/08/2026: How lucky we are to have this little pool so close to home! It was so lovely to go swimming there in the mornings this summer, and even to go back some evenings! It's great that they've added weekend openings in June. The reception staff were friendly. The lifeguard is incredibly attentive to everyone and very patient (and helpful) with some people when needed. Regarding the comments about his strictness, when you go to a public place, you accept the rules... He's just doing his job! The facility is simple, calm, and pleasant. As for the comments about a lack of activities/games/slides, I think there are other options nearby. Thank you to the Community of Communes for maintaining this facility! See you next year. 2024: Still open, thank you Community of Communes! It's a shame it was closed the last week of August; we would have loved to go with that beautiful sunshine! We miss Cyril; it's a shame he left, we missed his enthusiasm this year. 2025: Still open, including in the mornings, which is rare and much appreciated. Thank you, CDC. Keep it up! 😉 The two lifeguards are incredibly attentive and responsive to everything, which isn't the case in many pools. They're always smiling and on duty, even in the rain! Well done and thank you. A warm welcome at the entrance, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the changing rooms this year. Well done to the manager! We just regret the closure before September, but oh well... we love it here! 🤗 2026: The blue wristband is a great idea: it's fantastic to be able to come back in the afternoon without paying for entry again. We still love swimming in the mornings, thank you. Thank you also for the "heatwave special" hours, allowing swimming until 8 pm. 7-8 pm is a great time slot! Thank you, CDC, for maintaining this facility! See you next year.

02/06/2026: Lots of negative reviews... I eat there very often (I work in the vape shop next door) and I've never been disappointed! 😁 Clearly the best croissants I've ever had. 💯 Great selection of sandwiches! Original fillings, fresh ingredients with homemade bread and sauces, classic/cured ham, all high quality (my favorite is the Salmon Viennese 🔥). More expensive than a regular bakery, but I've never minded paying more for quality. I recommend it!!
