11/09/2024: A discreet place, located in the area of ​​this magnificent L'Alpha media library. Friends had recommended it to me, inviting me to go there, as I love simple, authentic cuisine, using only fresh and local products. Bingo! 100% compliant! And if we add the prices, the satisfaction is complete. You can really treat yourself without breaking the bank. I am lucky enough to be able to try many restaurants all year round. This one, for the year 2024, will have been a great discovery. I recommend their beef. Crazy, as one of my sons would say! The fries are cooked like the ones I ate at my grandparents' house in the North of France. No doubt good Bintje dipped in beef breast...

25/07/2024: During my visit to this worker's restaurant, I opted for the single menu at 13€. I have to say I was slightly disappointed. The small salad as a starter was OK, but the fries were undercooked. However, I must admit that the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a classic and friendly atmosphere. It was also a meeting place for local workers, which added a little charm to the place. Despite a few small flaws, I'm sure this restaurant will please some with its affordable menu and warm atmosphere. Recommended for those looking for a simple and unpretentious meal.

18/08/2024: Congratulations to the new relay team at Château de Chalais. We really enjoyed ourselves this Sunday lunchtime, refined and original dishes from starter to dessert, a good wine recommended by the charming manager. A special note for the two-chocolate millefeuille with its ice cream accompanied by a parcel of parsley! Very original and delicious 😋 It’s really an address that I recommend to everyone and where we will return with pleasure.

18/08/2024: Well done ! New fish restaurant at the Château de Chalais, really excellent, from starters (tapas) to desserts and of course the main courses, everything is delicious, congratulations, we had a great time 🥰 the chef is starred and it shows! Very good IGP Périgord wine

09/09/2024: Expensive ! For parking and one dinner or lunch you have to pay 20 euros... Sliced ​​meats, salads, snacks are of very mediocre quality... Hot food (second) is also average... Beef steak is unbreakable: stimorol + car tire... Breaded fish - a reheated creation prepared food from the supermarket... Only one dessert is allowed, and it’s small.., There are no mustard drinks on the menu.. Neither tea nor coffee... Apparently intended for a decanter of wine (about 250-300 ml..) After wine I really want to sleep (diphenhydramine)) it seems... Wine light (pink!!, I haven’t tried red..) but also of average quality, slightly yeasty... You can only go to the shower once... The toilet works by the hour (not 24 hours a day)... On Monday it didn’t work at all (need or shitting in the bushes or moving (!!) to a free (!!) parking lot is nonsense! In general, a parking lot for boogers...

25/06/2024: While passing through Angoulême, I came one afternoon following Google's advice. We didn't have a reservation but we were still lucky enough to get a table. And fortunately because the restaurant filled up incredibly quickly. Homemade dishes, fast service, a very fair price, I understand the craze. Well done.

12/05/2024: Very satisfied to have found this pretty caravan which also owes its charm to the simple and super friendly welcome from the hostess and the young man who assists her. And above all, Extra pizzas, no cooking worries, nothing like a wood fire to enhance the taste!!! I had seen that some had been "disturbed" by the well-cooked edges... it's called cooking over a wood fire! The pizzas are really well garnished, great value for money! In short, well done we will come back!!

03/05/2024: Very disappointed. I am passing through here and I come across this very well rated trailer so I go there with confidence. Unfortunately the pizzas are burnt, the taste is not really up to par and for the price I am left wanting more…. I think they have all the ingredients to offer a quality pizza... On the other hand, the 2 people were very friendly.

We were served by Olivier who amazed our meal with his kindness, his attention and his understanding while waiting and demanding the quality of service that we expected, the dishes were very good. We didn't set out to eat at the basic Léon de Bruxelles because we are from Bordeaux and we usually eat Léon de Bruxelles, in Pessac, and lately. We were very disappointed by the quality of the cuisine, thanks to the Chefs at Léon de Bruxelles, Angoulême and Olivier's service. We have really changed our opinion and our opinion, and we will happily come back to eat in this restaurant. Even if it means traveling to Bordeaux Angoulême to be properly and attentively served. Our hosts run a tight ship and could not have been helpful when we had a major spillage - we look forward to our next visit !

19/09/2024: For several months (since the change of ownership) it has been impossible to order from this Burger King on Uber Eats, it is constantly "unavailable" The few times I managed to order the dishes were incorrect, this problem has been going on for months now, it might be time to take action to correct it

17/09/2024: We say let's have a meal to change a little BK... 3 children 2 adults to take away... in front of a great film... We arrive and bingo... not the right sandwich for me... I call them, they ask me to come back... 10 minutes to go... get there... I wait, they give me back my sandwich...and nothing! No compensation... they are stupid, I have to come back... 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back... I arrive home... everyone is done... Seriously you ruined my evening!
