14/05/2026: Passing through Cognac, we stopped to order two pizzas 🍕. We weren't disappointed; they were good. Friendly service.

20/04/2026: I'm a regular customer and have never had any bad experiences. The pizzas are generous and delicious, and the staff are very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

07/05/2026: Well-stocked bakery: bread, cakes, meals, sandwiches, etc. You can eat your purchases there. Very welcoming and friendly service. I stop by every time I'm passing by. Large parking lot. Thank you for your hospitality.

30/04/2026: It's a shame the traditional baguette is school cafeteria quality... It's been getting worse and worse for years; supermarkets do better. It's hard to find a bakery that doesn't make you regret going there.

12/09/2025: I used to go there as a teenager, I went back during my holidays in July and it's always a clean, well-managed and pleasant pool. Pleasant for swimming, meeting up for a friendly moment in the grass or at the water's edge... a must in the La Roche area.

22/06/2026: Here, the staff, including the owner, feel entitled to loudly criticize the women who walk by, mocking their outfits while watching them from behind the closed door. Either they think the women are underdressed (and we're in the middle of a heatwave!), or their clothing isn't to their liking—too this, too that, and so on. And then, "Don't complain if they get mugged!" The door is closed because of the air conditioning, a leaky, wheeled unit. I pick up my bag as I leave; it's soaked, as are my canvas shoes. When I point this out, the owner retorts, "You didn't drown!" The waiter chimes in. I shudder to think what was said after I left! In short, I'll never set foot in that bar again.

07/04/2026: This establishment deserves a much better rating than its current one! The service is quick yet attentive, the food is good quality for an extremely reasonable price, its location isn't used as an excuse for price increases (as some nearby establishments do...), and for those with a sweet tooth, the fries are homemade and absolutely delicious. For two drinks, a fresh steak with fries (children's menu), and a nice cut of meat with fries and salad, the bill came to €33. I sincerely recommend this establishment!

18/05/2026: Been visiting this café for the past 5 years. Always great coffee and service. This year May 2026, very poor! Empty when we walked in, about to leave when someone came down to the bar. 7 Euros for coffee and cappuccino! Coffee quite bitter. Will never be back!

06/04/2026: Order placed at 2:04 AM and a huge disappointment. One burger was missing from the order, which is already unacceptable. On top of that, the pizzas I received were truly pathetic: they seemed soggy, poor quality, and didn't resemble the photos on the app at all. I even have photos to prove the state of the order. Very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Between forgetting a paid item and receiving mediocre pizzas, it was a truly unacceptable experience. I will not be ordering from here again.

01/07/2026: I've been shopping at this store for years. I've never been disappointed. But my experience on Saturday was very disappointing... we went to the fish counter to buy mussels. The woman saw us waiting but didn't come to serve us, didn't even say hello. So we waited patiently for her to decide to serve us. She took her time. Then, when she finally served us, she seemed grumpy, unpleasant, and very, very slow. Anyway, we didn't say anything... we ate the mussels that evening and all night, and the next day I was sick. Which doesn't surprise me. In fact, that Saturday, the fish counter was swarming with flies. My partner and I even saw a whole salmon, with three flies on its head, that had laid eggs. It was disgusting 🤮 and if we saw it, don't tell me the fishmonger didn't see it.... I won't be buying seafood from this store again...

30/06/2026: Large supermarket where we did our shopping and had lunch at the L'Entracte cafeteria, very good, reasonable prices.

02/01/2026: Quantity and quality, excellent gourmet platter, the only downside is that it's cold in the restaurant

30/12/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. A pleasant place to be! It's basic, classic fare, but always good and at an affordable price.

14/05/2026: We went in for a cocktail on a rainy early evening on a public holiday. The bar was empty, so the bar man served us quickly. He explained the additional menu that could be found with a QR code. We had 4 cocktails and a wine. The cocktail of the day was terrible, mixed with fizzy water and loads of ice - it may have been better without all the water and ice. The sidecar tasted watery, maybe just not as much cognac used as the version that we are used to. All served with a small bowl of nuts for the table. We were expecting something special because of the reviews, but were disappointed.

13/04/2026: Advertised as open until 1am. Stood here are 23:59 after a half an hour walk. Shame. Please update these to avoid disappointing customers and wasting their time.

04/07/2026: What a lovely find. Reasonably priced food and overall very good. Delicious plat du jour. A restaurant bar right on the heart of the village square. Great on market days.

30/05/2026: Everything was perfect, from the main course to the dessert, including the appetizer. Excellent service with excellent timing. Pleasant waiters. A quality meal with good ingredients at a very reasonable price. Thank you, we will be happy to return.

16/05/2026: First time in this bar, we went there to play a game of pool and darts, just a typical student outing… We had barely arrived (I'm not exaggerating, we had only stepped inside) when a woman (the owner) literally yelled at us, "You're minors! You're minors! There are minors in this group!" We were a bit shocked and incredulous, but we thought the woman was joking (it was so surreal), so we went up to the bar, and that's when we noticed the woman's strange and very aggressive behavior. "Did someone just laugh?" "Who was making fun of me?" We offered her our ID cards as proof of age, but it was no use (the worst part is that no one reacted to her aggressive behavior; she was literally shouting throughout the bar, and her colleague seemed to think it was normal). Frankly, we left the bar completely bewildered by the situation, and I'm not surprised by the recent comments suggesting she was on drugs because her eyes were wide and she was making numerous nervous gestures. Response to the comment: We understand the restrictions regarding minors, but this does not justify the aggressive reception, especially since we offered to show our ID cards as proof of age. I could say that it's also defamatory to refuse entry to people based on their appearance rather than their actual identity (since we were all adults). Furthermore, we simply agree with the previous comments which also describe the manager's completely erratic behavior (including some comments that explicitly mention physical aggression), which can really lead to confusion regarding certain consumption patterns. Before saying that our judgment was excessive, it's primarily the opinion of many "customers" who had a similar and unpleasant experience.

17/05/2026: Everything was great. The owner was very pleasant and attentive to customers. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2026: Actually quite good, BUT some dishes aren't even homemade, like the sauces, etc. For €20 you get a non-grilled steak. However, the reception was very friendly and the wait time was reasonable.
